Foolish Things Coffee ceiling art and natural light

This an ideal spot if you're working remotely or want to meet up with your team. There is steady traffic from TCC students and staff, but it remains quiet and most folks are busy studying or collaborating. It's got plenty of space, large tables, and lots of natural light. The coffee is pretty good and the breakfast menu items have been delish.

It's a no for me! Lavender latte had a really weird taste to it, like syrup and cottage cheese is the best way I can describe it. There are only 2 outlet spots in the whole place to charge your laptop. I wasn't hungry when I first ordered, but knew I wanted a breakfast burrito later. I made my way to the counter at 2:24pm since they only serve food until 2:30pm. Stood there for a few minutes and the staff member came over finally. I attempted to place a breakfast burrito order, but she went back to the kitchen and came back to tell me the kitchen had already closed. I made my way back to my seat and it was 2:29 PM. Maybe change your sign to 2:20pm??? Lastly, when I went to unplug my laptop, there was a dusty old dead cockroach I didn't notice previously--yuck yuck yuck!!

I came to Tulsa for a girls' weekend with a friend and Foolish Things Coffee was our first stop before heading to the hotel. I love the huge open space, grand tables, great service, and MATCHA!! Excellent matcha - I tried the hot matcha with almond milk and my friend ordered an iced matcha. We also had to get food because we were running on just water from the morning drive from Edmond to Tulsa. *Avocado Toast* perfectly ripened avocado slices atop a sweet bacon jam, spinach, and egg. I don't think I'll have avocado toast any other way. This was one of the best avo toasts I've tasted! So much flavor especially with that sweet and savory jam. I want to also comment on how great the parking is in downtown Tulsa, especially by this location. We wanted to come back the next morning and try the coffee, but unfortunately they were closed. Oh well, that just means we'll have to make another trip, soon. :)

I was looking for a place to sit and work and came across this coffee shop. Lots of seating indoor and a cute patio outdoor. ordered a cold brew (a tad pricy) but was nice and strong. The barista who took my order must have been having a bad day as the service was low quality. Parking is available and free but limited.

(I was there a week ago but forgot to post my review until now). The inside was very nice in here. The servers were nice and kind. The food was very delicious and the black coffee was nice too.

Foolish Things Coffee is a value-driven café that seeks to be a haven for great coffee, community, and social responsibility. It champions smaller coffee roasters, including women and minority-owned ones, that value quality, sustainability, and service. I had thoroughly enjoyed Et Al's Dumpling Night, a weekly Wednesday evening pop-up held at Foolish Things, and thought I should visit for a morning cup of coffee. Foolish Things Coffee is a welcoming coffee house featuring clean lines, cool artwork, and a fair amount of natural light. There is a patio area to the side of the shop and seating in the front of the café. Customer service was good. Food and coffee came out at an appropriate pace. I ordered my usual Americano with steamed half-and-half. Foolish Things makes their own syrup, so I opted to add Brown Sugar Cinnamon syrup. Additionally, I ordered the Vegetable Hash, which contained two sunny-side up eggs, potatoes, onions, and peppers. The cinnamon was deliciously prominent in my Americano. It was the best cup of coffee I had in Tulsa. The Hash was pretty good for a café. It was well seasoned, the eggs were well prepared, and the potatoes were consistently crispy (with some burnt bits, which I love in a hash).

I grabbed an iced caramel latte (super strong and delicious) and breakfast burrito #2. The coffee shop itself is spacious inside and plenty of tables and chairs to choose from. As for the parking, there is a designated parking spots for the coffee shop, and if ever ran out of space, there are street parking that you can park as well. The service was fast and got my orders in few minutes. I thoroughly enjoyed my cuppa and the burrito was huge and hearty! If you order a burrito, make sure you're really hungry. I couldn't finish my food.

Breakfast Bowl, Veggie Hash and a coffee
    Sarah D.

My darling hubby found this place and wanted to give it a try. He tried their veggie hash and I had their breakfast bowl. A bit pricey for what I got, the breakfast bowl was small and $8. But since I'm not into big breakfasts it was good for me. Latte was very good. Coffee was really strong. Ambiance was relaxing, I love the old brick building it makes it worth that $8 bowl.

Red wine, chips and guacamole, and hatch green chili braised carne burrito. The chips and the tortillas were fresh and obviously handmade.

I had to try it out..... As I was walking into the coffee shop, I was getting a weird vibe. The barista was a nice guy. At the counter I saw a weird sign that I had never seen before. I can't remember the exact wording but it was something in the lines of weed could be added to any drink or sth which caught me very offguard since I had never seen such a thing in CA. Obviously I didn't add anything to my drink (no thank you in a million years) and just settled for my simple latte. My latte was nothing special. It was luke warm than Hot which was a disappointment. The only reason that I am giving this place a 4 star is because they are open late and the barista was friendly. Besides that I think the cafe itself was very weird.......
