About half of my weekly shop happens at an ALDI these days. Why, might you ask? Because it's good…read morequality and it's a low price. I'm saving close to half my food budget by shopping at ALDI. Great shop today. The store is well stocked, all merchandise in stock with no "outs." The store is clean and well lit. This store is laid out the same as others with four wide aisles. Cookies, crackers, chips, bread at the bottom of the first aisle become produce at the bottom. Second aisle is more produce and then canned/boxed goods including cereals and such. Third aisle is always a little random at one end with a different display of stuff every time, from dish racks to car tools to towels. And the fourth aisle is wine and frozen and then water. Along the back wall is the deli, dairy and fresh meats. Easy, right? Checkout at ALDI is different than Publix. Your stuff goes right back into a cart and then you'll bag it up yourself. No free bags at ALDI, you either bring your own, luck out with a cardboard box that they've just emptied onto a shelf or you can buy bags. Oh, and bring a quarter for the shopping cart deposit. You'll get it back when you return the cart. [Review 13855 overall, 1177 of 2020, number 2545 in North Carolina.]

I went in Aldi yesterday to grab one of their small salads, I do mean small but they are not bad, I…read morewould prefer a tomato but I guess it's gotten stay fresh and tomato's won't. The floor looked like it had skid marks and was not clean. The staff was not friendly so I just ignored their rudeness. In the south we pride ourselves in friendly buy I guess they did not get the memo. This store is off Monroe Rd and Rama. I guess they don't care. Most of their clients speak Spanish so maybe that's why. Salad was fine and cheap. In this economy we all need that. A smile and hello would not hurt. It's free.

I left my wallet behind, and this young man named Luke tracked me down. He ran after me and gave me…read moremy wallet back. I had cash sticking out of my wallet too, and nothing was missing. What a great experience with honest employees.

I come back to this Harris Teeter in Fort Mill one year later for my annual Thanksgiving holiday…read moretrip and find this location so refreshing and just loved my shopping experience here. If I lived here I would be shopping at this Harris Teeter 3x a week for sure. Great selection, prices seemed very reasonable, lots of good sales, the pizza looked solid - not sure if it beats Costco but many different options and it looked appetizing. 2 bucks off Sweet Potato Pie and it was pretty solid. My friend bought Angus Ribeye Rib Roast that was on sale $10 off per pound - but the cool thing was it was a bit too big and he just asked the butcher guy if they could trim it down - no problem! Took it out of the package, chopped about 15% off, and re-weighed and price sticker replaced. Awesome! Everyone I talked to for help here was really nice. Even the cashier guy - forgot his name - long hair n glasses - but funny thing was he was the same register guy who helped us out last year Thanksgiving. So I asked if he was still living the dream - he smirked - said for now yeah. He's been there 2 years now so I guess he's looking to take the management route. Hopefully next year he could get promoted. He said they give away cookies at the bakery for free samples - whaaa?? I missed that one but I will be back cuz I really dig this grocery store. Wish we had one in Austin. Happy Thanksgiving 2024!! Yeeee haaww!!!
