I have been a good customer of this store for 20 years. The main draws were their deli, meat…read moreselection and customer service. With service being the main reason I kept going to this location. Prices are higher than their two neighbors Wal-Mart and Food Lion. I am not a fan of their digital coupon program. It is extremely clumsy and with no to little wifi in the store it is even more difficult to log in to your Lowe's account to get the digital coupons. Upon checking out and expressing extreme frustration I was met with little help. Heck, just an I'm sorry let's see what we can do would have sufficed. So after 20 years and almost daily stops to this location, I may need to just walk away. It is their choice to operate like this. It is not my place to tell the managers how to treat customers. But if you are competing with lower prices on both sides of this location, I would do what I could to keep customers. I wish this location well, but I am done.

Needless to say, I'm very disappointed as she had an awesome personality and was always willing to assist the customer in any way she could. I know in a business open to the public that customer relations used to be a high mark of an employee, and she exemplified that trait and even went over and above to assist. I do believe that the loss of her at this location will be a loss to the store in the long run. People who have her work ethic and her ability to work well with customers is a very rare trait these days. I shopped this store prior to her becoming the manager and I liked the manager prior to her, but she went well above and beyond what was required of her. She will be missed not only by me but I'm sure by many others and I hope Lowes realizes what they have lost in losing her.

It's bigger than the North Main location and is also closer to Archdale and Trinity. Residents of nearby Thomasville, Archdale, Trinity, and Jamestown come to this Walmart to shop. My dad prefers coming to this Walmart over the one on North Main because it has a bigger selection, more items in stock, and he can get in and out faster. I agree with him, for the most part. A reason to not come to this location over the North Main location is it's generally more crowded and hectic. Just a lot more people to deal with. The shopping experience at the North Main location is relatively more pleasant though you may not find all the items you want. Something to keep in mind. My wife and I were able to find just about everything we wanted on our last visit to this location, mostly household cleaning supplies and toiletries like Clorox ToiletWands and refills, Scrubbing Bubbles Fresh Gel, Colgate toothpaste, Lever 2000 bar soap, Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser, Neutrogena Healthy Skin Face Lotion, Suave Men 2-in-1 Shampoo + Conditioner, ChapStick, and more. All at good or reasonable prices. Of the two Walmart Supercenters (not Neighborhood Markets) in High Point, this is the more working class one with a diverse clientele.

This is a convenient location for me because of where I live in Randleman; Randleman Walmart is fabulous but if I have errands to run in High Point, this location works well for me for grabbing a couple of items. A big downfall of this store is that they are out of stock on a lot of items most of the time. You can always find an abundance of milk, bread, eggs, butter and most of your grocery stables like chips, cereal and cookies. However, specialty items are usually not found here, and there are usually lots of empty shelves and spots where items should be stocked. I do agree with one of the reviews below where they stated that most of the employees are in their own world between themselves etc ... a few times, I have waved hello and smiled at an employee passing by only to have them completely ignore me and on the flip side, I have had wonderful, lengthy and fun conversations with some of the employees as well. I think it is just a 50-50 split when it comes to customer service here. I find myself stopping in this store about once every two weeks, just for a couple of items to add to a dinner menu or maybe some snacks for my kids for school. I will continue to shop at this particular location because I find it convenient, I have had pretty good experiences with customer service and most of the time they have what I need. Sometimes when it comes to Walmart you have to take it or leave it. Thank you!

For about the first year everything was stocked well, good variety and fresh, over the last several months the store has taken a nose dive . The staff is still super friendly and nice but there is massive amounts of out of stocks, poor selection, and several out of dates on multiple items sitting on the shelves . I don't know if management changed or what, but it's like shopping in a dumpster now , you never know what you'll find and if it's edible...

It is a fairly large bodega with every ingredient you would need to make a flavorful Latino meal. The aisles and shelves are very clean and organized. Towards the back is the food counter and ice cream shop. Please Ty of flavors to choose from and lots of Latino favorites and delicacy's. They also have some hot food. There is a seating area for those who wish to eat there. They sell a few k ick knacks also. My wife got a cup of the coffee ice cream and loved it. I got the Jugo Ruso, which translates to Russian Juice. Had never heard of this before and it looked delicious, well it was! I believe it's mineral water with OJ, pure lime juice, some mango pieces, a slice of orange, a tamarind stick and some chamoy around the ring for a little kick. My o my complaint was that it had a lot of ice and I craved more drink! I need to learn to make this at home. If you are in the area, give it a try, staff was very friendly. Get creative and pick up some spices you have never tried before.
