The hotel itself stays true to the Novotel design of being chic and modern. Food exchange though may look a bit plain from the side entrance, but it is quite a spacious, well lit and charming place. Design is very pleasing, fitting in both the contemporary and more classic segments. Service is definitely on par with the larger food chains, although they waiting staff wasn't that numerous on our visit, but they got the job done and the treatment goes beyond the price category. The food had quite a good variety and were plated nicely, no over the top hassles, just good food served in a delectable fashion. The variety of food is quite encompassing, having Japanese, fried and roasts, Chinese, Indian, Filipino and quite a nice selection of desserts. The Japanese section had a nice treat which was the cold udon, although the seafood wasn't really meant for sashimi (my fault for asking for slices), the fried was the usual, and the roast beef had was a bit tough. The Indian food was a hit and miss, not really authentic probably to fit the local palate. The Filipino dishes were on point. The salad section had a good array of sauces, and the desserts were quite good, crepes (great), churros (too oily, oilier than La Lola, wouldn't go for this). Overall, it was a great experience, and the price rivals those of some buffet chains, definitely a good value buffet!
