    Seasonal latte

Whenever I'm out of town, I like to check out random local coffee shops, and it seems that I stumbled across a super popular one. When I arrived on a Saturday morning, the line was quite literally out the door. The place itself doubles and triples down on the folklore theme, which I thought was great. They were doing a Friends theme for their lattes for the month I was there, which I thought was creative. I could definitely see myself returning, though hopefully I'll time it better so they aren't so crazy busy, and I can try their food

As Heraclitus once said, "It's the same lake, but different water",and that perfectly describes Folklore. Every month brings an entirely new menu, with each drink is one-of-a-kind experience... the creativity is unmatched, and the flavors are always on point The service is so warm, welcoming, and genuine, you know, the kind of vibe that's rare to find these days. From open to close, people are constantly coming in and out, and it's easy to see why: Folklore is hands down the best coffee shop in Lemont. I can't stop recommending it to everyone I know. If you haven't been, go. You'll see what I mean

Love stopping in Folklore to grab drinks and snacks. We walk our dog weekly & we stop in to try the specialty espresso drinks. They're well crafted & so yummy! The baristas are friendly & the service is quick with a smile . We even get a pup cup for our dog Daisy . It's a charming little nook nestled in between the vintage buildings of downtown Lemont. It's nice to sit at the outside tables and enjoy our coffee .

I came here at 11 am with a friend. It's a small coffee shop, so it was rather busy and loud. That being said, we decided to walk around downtown with our coffee. Service took a while, but like I said it was busy. I decided on an iced sugar free Carmel latte. It was good, but very espresso forward (I typically like my iced lattes a little sweeter). My friend had the iced lavender honey latte, which was even stronger than mine! She couldn't finish it all. So be aware that the drinks are stronger than you would maybe expect. Still good though and a cute local shop!

Thr service is great and very friendly. The drinks are delicious without being overly sweet. I'll come back soon

I don't know even where to start. The owner Tess was a delight and so chipper! She knew names of all her guest and it was such a neighborhood feeling. The coffee shop is a year old but you would think it's been around for a while with how well known it was by their guest. The coffee was superb! The place is a bit on the smaller side with two small tables up front by the windows that overlook the awesome trains as they go by! There is also some bench seating on the wall for high top laptop/workers and benches and small tables on the back wall. This is a must stop place in Lemont! They do offer some bakery items as well!

Super cute little shop in downtown Lemont. Was instantly greeted by the cashier! She could tell it was my first time here and showed me the menu options and even the holiday menu favorites right away. I went with the great thanksgiving (white chocolate, caramel mocha, and honey) super delicious and was gone in 10 minutes! I will be coming back and recommending this cute shop!

Cute little coffee shop with plenty of seating. We were greeted upon walking in and tried two of their lattes in which both of them were pretty good! Can't wait to try some more next time!

This is literally the cutest coffee shop in Lemont. The owner and her staff are so friendly and know their customers well. I had a seasonal drink that was just right. There was no heavy syrup sitting at the bottom of the cup. Flavor was perfect with every sip. My husband loved his coffee. The inside is small but mighty, with a cute wall for photos. Can't wait to go back!

Still thinking about my coffee from this morning! Folklore Coffee is nestled into downtown Lemont and offers plenty of street parking out front. Inside is very quant with a reasonable amount of seating. They had a large amount of syrups to choose from as well as some great seasonal option. I ordered the Honey Lavender Latte as the woman working highly recommended it and said it was their signature. The staff was extremely sweet and made small talk with me till my drink was ready. The latte did not disappoint! Perfect temperature, good flavor, light froth. So happy I stopped by and looking forward to my next visit to Folklore!

The staff were kind, but my wife and I's orders were both wrong. Cute little tiny storefront, and the coffee is ok.

They have done a great job to set up the lobby have three areas with super nice benches around the wall. Perfect for the group chatting. I tried the Qishr for the first time. Light than a regular coffee, more like tea body. With some ginger taste and very little sweetness. It took about 10 mins to make. I liked it a lot. Also got the bird's nest which I highly recommend. Creamer than the regular baklava and perfect portion for us. Certainly could be one of my regulars.

The options were decent and included Turkish coffee, drip coffee, macha, lattes, and chai. The desserts looked really good and fresh. Although I didn't order food this time I would if I returned. The service.. the girls were friendly... The guy not so much. He just took the order without a smile or thank you and kept moving along. I ordered a pistachio matcha mostly because the pistachio was homemade and I love pistachios and flavors. The drink was made pretty quickly and was nice with a nutty balance. Open free parking lot with plenty of parking in the shopping area near IKEA. If I'm in the area I would return.

Some color would be nice, but this place is clean and there's a lot of seating. I ordered a hot coco ube coffee and customized it to 50% sweet using the kiosk. There was only one person working here when I put the order in, but someone else came in later to help. My drink took a little time, but the space made the wait tolerable. Glad to see a nice variety of different boba drinks here and having the option to dial down the sugar. It's nice to see some real coffee and tea offered with the fruit drinks, smoothies, and such. You can also get bubble waffles here which are always a good choice. Novatea should be your regular boba spot, if you're in the area.

There's a lot of seating inside (with AC in the hot months) or plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy your ice cream outside. We also like taking our ice cream for a walk through downtown to look at the river just enjoy the scenery. Note that if you have mobility challenges with stairs, this place may be difficult to access. The entire area is full of very steep hills, and there are a few steps to get up to the entrance of the store front. There may be an alternate entrance/way in that avoids stairs, but I'm not sure where it is.

Creamery has both the basic and more unique flavors. More expensive than the bigger chains but it's better obviously. There's even a few vegan ones if avoiding dairy products. Cool place for when it gets hot. It's not that big inside. There's only a few tables. Maybe appropriate because there's not a crap ton of flavors. This is more like the hand crafted stuff. It's about $6 a cup. That's the only very bad thing. Has a few non dairy flavors including the Vegan Classic Cookie. This is also healthier without the cholesterol and things. For being a locally owned ice cream place it's not bad to be honest. It's more expensive than the big chains but this isn't mass produced from who knows what factory farms and stuff. There's also some flavors to get for vegans.

YMMV depending on your party's appetite. Brisket - not the best I've had, but definitely good Pork Belly Burnt Ends - delicious! The sticky sweet sauce they come in is amazing. Pulled Pork - good Sausage link - meh Mac & Cheese - better than many places, but I'd probably try a different side next time Tater Tots - sooo good! Texas Twinkie - perfect flavor and jalapeno poppers and not usually my thing Pickles and pickled onions - so good! Pecan pie - took this home to eat later and it was one of the best pies I've ever had The BBQ sauce at a place can make it or break it. Been coming here since before they had fries on the menu. Last 2 times I've gone they've been out of ribs so I've had to substitute. So I've gotten the burnt ends and a brisket slider. The brisket is decent. Very tender. With the honey sauce it's quite good. The first time I got the burnt ends they were a little fatty to be expected but honestly delicious.
