The…read morechocolates are not only delightfully tasty, they look absolutely stunning, making for great gifts or even treats for yourself. I just love that they are truly bean to bar (you can literally watch them sit and sort the beans, grind them, make the chocolate and all other steps of the process). The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient -- and while prices are a tad higher than your basic chocolates, they are reasonable for the high quality of premium treats you are going to get Just an additional thing I did not mention in my previous review: Their packaging is also great. Not only do they print off the individual names of chocolates you got if you make a box, there is a QR code which when you scan, takes you to the visual and descriptive online guide of all their flavors. Highly, highly recommend, and cannot see any reason why I would not make efforts to continue returning!

We also purchased 8 different chocolates. Great presentation but some were hit or miss on my pallet. Others may like them however. Other customers mentioned they all pretty much incorporate dark chocolate. I would like to see a milk chocolate in the future. We will definitely come back for another round and try the other choices.

This shop is gorgeous, and I was hoping for the best. We skipped our favorite ice cream spot to…read moregive it a try. The service is fast and friendly, however the shakes (the hubs and I tried the cookies and cream and the birthday cake shakes) were just ok. Not bad, not great, just right there in the middle where at about halfway through, you toil over whether you should finish it or save your calories. I tapped out early, and I'm a sucker for a cake batter almost anything if that tells you anything. The photo station was a fun touch. The Cary locals appear to be smitten with this place as people piled in after us. For me, MilkShake Factory delivered more aesthetics and stellar location than flavor. You be the judge. Cheers!

So in all honesty most of my excitement for this place is based around a simple yet awesome event…read morethat took place. Went in after eating down the street with a couple friends as when we passed we all realized we wanted something sweet. However, we were also quite full so we decided we'd just get a single milkshake and split it. We ordered one and without us even saying anything the worker asked "would you like to split that?" A bit confused I asked what she meant and she explained they can split the drink, into small cups, just the same amount split into multiple small cups. It was absolutely perfect, and it wasn't simply just poured into small cups, they were adorned like a full size shake (whipped cream and garnish and all), at no additional cost! Absolutely love this offering and it seems so obvious everybody should be doing this now. It's so simple but honeslty made all of ours day. Because sometimes you want just a little bit, and I understand not selling that small of a size but if I'm ordering a large one to split, pre splitting it into multiple cups is fantastic. Ok now to quickly review the rest. The interior space was large, plenty of seating for groups of all sizes. The decor was quite nice, clean and modern while maintaining a fun character. The case was full of incredible looking treats from chocolates to stroopwaffels and the milkshake options were plentiful with something for everybody. The one we ended up getting was a tad on the sweeter side imo but that also may just be the flavor we got (was still quite good). The prices were a tad leaning towards the higher side but still reasonable, and the service was incredibly friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend and will likely return.

Ambiance was just average, lots of people working and studying occupied most tables, service is friendly, the Napoleon seemed to be old with strange texture with no flavor, my husband ordered a cheese cake and said the same thing. The only good thing was the tea, a little more than the regular Lipton black tea. It was a huge disappointment and we won't be back, spent almost $40 for two not good slices of cake, a pot of tea, totally not worth it! Food: 1 Service: 4 Ambiance: 3

The space is fairly large and they stay open late (until 11 PM on weekends), making it a great place to hang out with friends or stop by to satisfy a sweet tooth during a night out. I've purchased their macarons as gifts, tried several desserts here and to-go, grabbed coffee and stayed to do work, and even stopped by for lunch. Their light bites are quite tasty, and I especially enjoy their phyllo-dough pastries. Their latte options are great--the flavors are creative yet still approachable, and the syrup options are delicious. Service is attentive and efficient. There's always a big team behind the counter, and instead of calling names, they give you a number and bring food or drinks directly to your table, which is so thoughtful! They can get quite busy at times - lots of families and big groups stop by to hang out. I enjoy the community it brings, though sometimes this is not the most ideal place to get work done. Highly recommend Asali for anyone looking to try creative desserts, a great cup of latte!
