My Husband and I were here for birthday lunch last week. First time at this location. The service was exceptional, everyone was attentive. Emma did a great job making sure things were running smoothly and that we were taken care of. The cheese rolls were great, enjoyed the meats, except lamb chops, they were not flavorful. The molten cake was decadent! Nice atmosphere, very clean, including the restrooms. Salad bar was well maintained and full. We got seated about 2min after we arrived. Caesar was our server and he was really nice! Gave us a crème brûlée cheesecake for our anniversary. The other servers were also kind and very attentive. They catered to us quickly - Loved the service! Tried the cold bar first and honestly just a bunch of different stuff that was just okay. I've been to other Fogo locations but first time at this location. The decor is very similar to the others. Simple elegance is what I would describe. It has a huge salad/market bar in the middle and they have a pretty good wine collection. We got the $65 dinner option which included the salad bar and all you can eat meats. The gauchos come around with the different meats, including pork, chicken, filet, top sirloin, etc. they also include a side of plantains and mash potatoes. All the meats were delicious, but my favorite was the top sirloin. My friend and I left very full! read more

I wish we could order just a bunch of the little cheese breads at once! Those are the best. We did the full churrasco experience and enjoyed the garlic steak, lamb, sausage and cheese+honey the best! I think next time I'd stick to the garlic steak and sausage as those were my faves. I didn't try any chicken but our party thought the chimichurri chicken was really good! I did appreciate that they ask if there's anything particular you'd like, if you say no to their offering. There were definitely times where all the offerings were out and times where it slowed down and there wasn't a lot out. Definitely an ebb and flow. No mention of him needing to split or anything. The new one didn't bother telling us that he was taking over. Just strange. Not a fan of that situation. The good!!! Lamb chops were awesome even if they were a little heavy on the salt. The cucumber mojito like drink. The cheeses!! My son enjoyed the lentil soup with white rice. He really is a cheap date. Thankfully his meal was free because he's 5! I think they also raised prices. Now it's $65 per person. Not sure if it's worth it. Food was pretty good so probably is worth it if you're a big meat eater. My husband isn't so he had the salad bar and enjoyed that but not worth the money for him. The food and experience here was absolutely amazing! All the meats were very well seasoned and flavorful. The salad bar was very fresh and well stocked as well. My favorite meats would have to be the filet minon or the sirloin. I love how you can choose how you want it cooked, so I always got to get medium rare. The potato salad and caesar salad were a good pallet cleanser as well. The service was awesome here! We went for a work Christmas party, and it was one of our birthdays as well. The waitress surprised us with a candle and chocolate cake. The ambiance was very clean and nice. Additionally, I love how there's free parking with validation. Fogo is usually my family and friends go to for celebrations . I went Sunday around 6pm for my birthday dinner for the Full Churrasco Experience . After not going for a few months I definitely noticed changes. For one the pace at which the food was being brought out was much slower .Usually its several meat in rotation. Also, the the garlic mashed potatoes that usually comes out with the other sides are now only available upon request. We were there over 10 minutes cards on green and no gaucho had come by our table or were really walking around. My server was very attentive and did mention to us that whatever cuts we wanted we could request which is fine but we usually dont have to. Prices have increased and its seems service is slower and quality has declined. The manager also came by to ask was everything OK. I guess he noticed we looked a little put off. I told him about the pacing and about the meat we requested. It took awhile but things got a bit better. Also, my friend got 2 cuts of chicken that were burnt and she did not eat them. I got chicken breast while I was waiting on what I requested and it was very dry as well. I noticed that all the chicken and pork being brought out looked burnt. Im not sure how things were taking long since they were nearly burning several cuts that were coming out. This visit was not awful but it was my worst visit to this location. It seems like they changed some cuts they offer or maybe they just didnt come out while we were there. We stayed 2 hours so the entire rotation should have happened by then. The meat staff do not speak clearly or loudly when walking up to your table, so I needed to ask multiple times which meat they are serving, and sometimes I still did not understand. Our server and all those staff members we interacted with were all super nice and friendly. We noticed however that we went extremely long periods of time without any food and just sitting waiting for servers to come around. By the time we were done eating we figured out that several items on the menu never came by us at all so we didn't get to try too many of the options. We wanted to like this place, because it was the first time for most of us. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience and had to spend almost $700 for sub standard food and service. All of the meats we had were extremely salty and the cuts were mostly either dry or bloody. I think the meats they use is low quality and they had to cook them rare, so that they don't get tough and chewy. We were celebrating a birthday, so decided to splurge a little and go here. We stopped by after a Cubs game. Busy but well organized. We enjoyed all the salad bar options- fruit, veggies, meats and cheeses plus salads. We love our steak rare and were not disappointed. Many great meat options were offered. We were disappointed in the cheese bread- it wasn't as we remembered it. Tiny and more crunchy than soft. But we enjoyed our mojitos (regular and skinny) and dessert (mango and Ice cream). Not hard for 2 adults to rack up a $250 bill with tip. Service was efficient and friendly. We visited this restaurant on December 30, 2024 to celebrate my sons birthday and we brought along his girlfriend who was visiting for the first time. This facility was so beautifully decorated just inside the first doors and inside the second doors for the holidays 2024. Upon entering the second doors there is a tree to the left and just in front of that is the hostess station. To the left of the hostess station is the bar and in front of the bar is an area for seating and down the hall is the washroom (which I did not use). Straight ahead is the salad bar and to the right inside the restaurant is the seating area. We chose the whole experience for the four of us that included the salad bar and the meats. The salad bar at this location is by far my favorite of anywhere especially the fresh mozzarella and tomatoes and the fresh bread. There is a complentary cheese muffin that is very tasteful. There was also a cheese that was served with honey, not sure what it is called and cannot find it on the menu. We all enjoyed many types of meat, although I asked for the sausage it never came around sadly. The meat we did have was delicious! The team there are kind and helpful. They are fast as well between cleaning the plates to topping off the water and and coming around with the meat. Our server Johnathon was super kind and helpful. The service is really good, everyone is very attentive, and your plate, if you wish, is never empty. The salad bar, for me is the best part. We started off a little bit roughly, we went on Mothers Day and we expected to pay the Brunch menu price but we were told that Holidays are charged the dinner price. One of the first things we noticed was that she didn't ask if we were celebrating a special occasion--a detail that's typically part of the Fogo experience and helps make guests feel valued. From the start, the experience felt rushed even though it was not busy . The meat servers moved quickly through the dining area and often bypassed our table, even though our cards were green. We had to make extra effort to get their attention. Our waters barely got refilled--I can count only one additional time during the entire meal. We also had to flag down another staff member just to request more yucca fries and bread--items we always enjoy during our visits. At one point, we even had to ask the woman refilling water for a dessert menu, as our waitress had barely checked on us after we initially received help from the other staff. When we finally ordered dessert, I had to ask if the birthday dessert special was still offered, as I believed it was typically complimentary for the guest of honor. Unfortunately, we were charged for it, and no mention was made of any birthday recognition. We also noticed our server in conversation with another staff member rather than attending to her tables, despite the restaurant not being busy. Overall, this visit fell short of the attentive and seamless service we've come to expect from Fogo de Chão, and it was especially disappointing given that it was a special occasion. This is my second time going to a Brazilian style restaurant so I had high hopes as I enjoyed my first experience and this place is considered to be fancier. The ambiance was fancier and the location is pleasant. However, I am giving it a low rating as the food was terrible. To start off, the salad/market bar did not have much to offer. There were a few different salads and some sides but for the price you pay, the selection could be better. There were some sides that should be warm instead of chilled like the grilled broccoli and mushrooms. The cold cut meats looked spoiled - even one customer called it out while I was in line. The salads were one of the better tasting items but you can find a good salad anywhere. Then came the entree which was the sea bass. It was honestly one of the worst fish I've ever had in my life. Food is always good. My favorite is still the Prime Rib. It doesnt come out often so you have to specifically ask for it. Also Shrimp Cocktails and Drinks that are going around are NOT FREE. I think a lot of people assume it is. Place is a bit on the classy side. So you can dress up as you please. We came here to Rosemont for an anniversary celebration. We chose Fogo for our dinner. We were not pleased with our experience. First, our waiter Felix was forgetful as he did not bring our drinks and at the end our bill. He also brought us still water $8 a bottle when what we wanted was tap water. My partner ordered the lobster tail and it arrived cold and was such a small size it was four bites. It was damn close to inedible. To add insult to injury, they paraded two more lobster tails by us, stopping at our table each time to ask if we had ordered them and those looked like regular sized lobster tails! Because we were honest, we clearly lost out. Also, the garlic steak was hard and I left it on the plate. They did not do anything to acknowledge our anniversary except for the host when we walked in. The online menu shows a price of $63.50 for the full experience, however in person the price has raised to $68. When I wrote my last review, the price was $60. The pricing is slowly becoming less affordable. My friend and I opted to do the market table after seeing how extensive it was. We told our waiter, and after that we received much worse service. I was thrilled with just doing the market table. It had tons of options from deli meats, cheeses, bacon, beans, rice, and tons of fancy salads. I was not even missing the meats! The overall experience felt a bit scammy as people kept coming by with trays of shrimp, drinks, and fried cheeses. These were not included in the experience price and were additional fees, but that was not being communicated. The small bowl of shrimp was close to $30 extra! My family is visiting from California and have been to several Fogo de Chão locations, but the service at the Rosemont location was by FAR the best we've ever experienced. Our server, Neftali, was AMAZING and very attentive. He made us feel so welcome throughout the entire meal. The food was great, but Neftali's outstanding service is what really made our visit memorable. Our glasses were always full and he made sure we had a chance to try everything.
