The food and experience here was absolutely amazing! All the meats were very well seasoned and flavorful. The salad bar was very fresh and well stocked as well. My favorite meats would have to be the filet minon or the sirloin. I love how you can choose how you want it cooked, so I always got to get medium rare. The potato salad and caesar salad were a good pallet cleanser as well. The service was awesome here! We went for a work Christmas party, and it was one of our birthdays as well. The waitress surprised us with a candle and chocolate cake. The ambiance was very clean and nice. Additionally, I love how there's free parking with validation. Been a long time since I've been here. I so wanted my husband and son to have a great experience like I'm used to. It was ok. It was dinner menu all day because of the NY Eve holiday. Ok that's fine. They knew I was celebrating my birthday I got no mention it from anyone even though it was on my reservation. Our waiter was ok I guess but then he disappeared and we had a new waiter. No mention of him needing to split or anything. The new one didn't bother telling us that he was taking over. Just strange. Not a fan of that situation. The good!!! We started off a little bit roughly, we went on Mothers Day and we expected to pay the Brunch menu price but we were told that Holidays are charged the dinner price. I've been to other Fogo locations but first time at this location. The decor is very similar to the others. Simple elegance is what I would describe. It has a huge salad/market bar in the middle and they have a pretty good wine collection. We got the $65 dinner option which included the salad bar and all you can eat meats. The gauchos come around with the different meats, including pork, chicken, filet, top sirloin, etc. they also include a side of plantains and mash potatoes. We came here right after the airport to meet another couple for dinner! Service was pretty on top of making sure we had soda refills and everything we needed. I wish we could order just a bunch of the little cheese breads at once! Those are the best. We did the full churrasco experience and enjoyed the garlic steak, lamb, sausage and cheese+honey the best! I think next time I'd stick to the garlic steak and sausage as those were my faves. I didn't try any chicken but our party thought the chimichurri chicken was really good! I did appreciate that they ask if there's anything particular you'd like, if you say no to their offering. There were definitely times where all the offerings were out and times where it slowed down and there wasn't a lot out. Definitely an ebb and flow. All of the meats we had were extremely salty and the cuts were mostly either dry or bloody. We visited this restaurant on December 30, 2024 to celebrate my sons birthday and we brought along his girlfriend who was visiting for the first time. This facility was so beautifully decorated just inside the first doors and inside the second doors for the holidays 2024. Upon entering the second doors there is a tree to the left and just in front of that is the hostess station. To the left of the hostess station is the bar and in front of the bar is an area for seating and down the hall is the washroom (which I did not use). Straight ahead is the salad bar and to the right inside the restaurant is the seating area. We chose the whole experience for the four of us that included the salad bar and the meats. The salad bar at this location is by far my favorite of anywhere especially the fresh mozzarella and tomatoes and the fresh bread. There is a complentary cheese muffin that is very tasteful. There was also a cheese that was served with honey, not sure what it is called and cannot find it on the menu. We all enjoyed many types of meat, although I asked for the sausage it never came around sadly. The meat we did have was delicious! The team there are kind and helpful. They are fast as well between cleaning the plates to topping off the water and and coming around with the meat. Our server Johnathon was super kind and helpful. I went in and I thought it would be a lot of business men. It really wasn't. There were quite a few "normal" people. The service I got was exceptional. There was one table with about me I'd say 12 to 16 business men. So I went up to the buffet and looked around. I got one plate's worth, and that would've really been enough. I went back and got maybe half a plate. I'll try to remember everything I had. I had about five different cheeses. Mango, smoked provolone, blue cheese, and a couple other unusual ones that were kind of dry that I don't remember. I had roasted cauliflower, roasted eggplant, these little red teardrops I had once before at church. I never found out what they were. They were some kind of sweet pepper. Very small or tomato looking like they looked like a teardrop. Unusual taste. I had quinoa, tabouli salad, croutons, pink, pineapple, blood oranges, Brazilian street corn, broccoli, sliced tomatoes with fresh mozzarella and basil on top. And the second trip I took the mozzarella on top of the tomato in the head, basil dressing. That was even better. They did have chicken citrus salad. I'm sure I left something out. They also had asparagus spears, but I did not take those. There was a soup and blackened pork with beans that look kind of like a soup. I tried a piece of pork it was OK but... they had gigantic. I think they were lima beans. I did not take any of those either. About halfway through the service, I asked the server if I could get bread with what I ordered. It ends up I missed it. It was on the other side of the buffet. Also it was right on my table. There was a little black bowl. I thought it was fake lemons or something. It was balls of cheesy bread. People always checking on you. A gentleman asked if I wanted butter. I said sure. I didn't realize it was also on the buffet, but he brought me some. I really cannot say enough for the place. I'm imagine if I was nuts about meat and ordered that at lunch. Of course it would be a lot more pricey. The market table was I think $18.95 and the iced tea I ordered was I think $4.95. read more

From the start, the experience felt rushed even though it was not busy . The meat servers moved quickly through the dining area and often bypassed our table, even though our cards were green. We had to make extra effort to get their attention. Our waters barely got refilled--I can count only one additional time during the entire meal. We also had to flag down another staff member just to request more yucca fries and bread--items we always enjoy during our visits. At one point, we even had to ask the woman refilling water for a dessert menu, as our waitress had barely checked on us after we initially received help from the other staff. When we finally ordered dessert, I had to ask if the birthday dessert special was still offered, as I believed it was typically complimentary for the guest of honor. Unfortunately, we were charged for it, and no mention was made of any birthday recognition. We also noticed our server in conversation with another staff member rather than attending to her tables, despite the restaurant not being busy. We came here to Rosemont for an anniversary celebration. We chose Fogo for our dinner. We were not pleased with our experience. First, our waiter Felix was forgetful as he did not bring our drinks and at the end our bill. He also brought us still water $8 a bottle when what we wanted was tap water. My partner ordered the lobster tail and it arrived cold and was such a small size it was four bites. It was damn close to inedible. To add insult to injury, they paraded two more lobster tails by us, stopping at our table each time to ask if we had ordered them and those looked like regular sized lobster tails! Because we were honest, we clearly lost out. Also, the garlic steak was hard and I left it on the plate. They did not do anything to acknowledge our anniversary except for the host when we walked in. This past Saturday was supposed to be a celebration--my son's 16th birthday. Instead, Fogo de Chão turned it into a frustrating, drawn-out disaster. We brought a party of 11 expecting premium service and a memorable evening. What we got was chaos, indifference, and the kind of service I wouldn't tolerate at a $9.99 buffet, let alone a restaurant that brands itself as upscale. Let's start with the insultingly amateurish service: water glasses were set down without ice, followed by a sad little community ice glass at the middle of the table so we could serve ourselves like we were at a gas station soda fountain. I came here for hospitality, not a self-service workshop. The table layout? A joke. Cramped so tightly we couldn't enjoy a bite without being jostled--my chair was bumped 28 times during the meal (Yes, we kept count!). It felt like eating inside a crowded elevator. Texas de Brazil at Woodfield has ample space, linear tables placed together, to maximize space and easement between tables. The Market Table--allegedly a centerpiece--is a cramped, bottlenecked mess. You'll spend more time waiting to grab a "clean" plate (the first two plates had dried food still on them) and a tomato slice than enjoying your dinner. Texas de Brazil, for comparison, has a flowing circular layout that actually works. Fogo? Not so much. Service went from passable to appalling. Once our drinks were served and the initial meats made the rounds, it was radio silence. Requests for specific cuts, beverages, and dessert were met with shrugs, delays, or ignored entirely. We found ourselves flagging down random servers and even asking the porter for another drink. That's how desperate it got. Dessert and check processing were a masterclass in inefficiency. From finishing dinner to settling the bill took nearly an hour. We were there for over 3 hours--not because we were leisurely, but because the place simply couldn't get its act together. And when I contacted management to share how the night went? The "apology" was laughable: one free dinner... for a party of five immediate family members. So I need to spend hundreds more to get compensated for their screw-up? That's not a gesture of goodwill--that's a slap in the face. And a pure sales tactic. The pricing is slowly becoming less affordable. My friend and I opted to do the market table after seeing how extensive it was. We told our waiter, and after that we received much worse service. I was thrilled with just doing the market table. It had tons of options from deli meats, cheeses, bacon, beans, rice, and tons of fancy salads. I was not even missing the meats! The overall experience felt a bit scammy as people kept coming by with trays of shrimp, drinks, and fried cheeses. All around great time , great staff they were all spot on ! Couldn't be more happy with the food either the chicken was perfect the steak was perfect , even asked for more bigger pieces and the didn't have a problem. Drinks were also good. Never tried Fogo before. Everyone I know talks about it and makes it sound so fancy. While, it is fancy, it's not 5 different salad forks + soup spoons fancy. I like the concept! They offer roast meats (which they bring it around and slice it in front of you). There's a little bar with tons of side dishes (veggies, cheese, fruit, etc). There's also so many meat options AND it's all you can eat! I would definitely return. If you park in the parking structure, they do offer validation which makes the parking free. They offer valet parking right in the front of their building. read more
