Working downtown last week, a friend and I decided to give Focaccia's Deli a try. We arrived toward the end of the lunch rush, and even though the restaurant was very busy, we were seated at a table quite quickly. Shortly afterward, our waitress introduced herself, asked if we had any questions about the menu, and took our drink orders. Being our first time there, we had a few questions about various menu items, but our waitress patiently answered all of them. I ended up selecting the Busia's Blue Plate, which with my soda, came to $10.58 before tax, which felt pretty reasonable for lunch downtown. While waiting on our orders, we took in the ambiance of the restaurant, which gave that cheerfully inoffensive 'hotel lobby' vibe. For as busy as the restaurant was, we were surprised at how quickly our food arrived. Busia's Blue Plate was made up of a very large and tasty stuffed cabbage role, an excellent potato latke, and two very good pierogis. I was very happy with both the portion size and especially with the great flavours! Additionally we were very pleased that our waitress brought us several drink refills. Overall I rate Focaccia's Deli as being Very Good, and will definitely come back again! read more

I had the Buffalo chicken salad. The chicken was the texture of canned chicken, all iceberg lettuce. Maybe another dish would have been a better choice. read more

I tried the spinach pie. It was good. I like mine to be a little more dense, but I'd order this again. The Greek salad that came with it was pretty good too. I like the atmosphere in this restaurant. It's walking distance for me. I will visit again soon. read more

Great place to check out while visiting the Imagination Station. Quick service and a bright, large dining room. Looks very popular with the office lunch crowd. The lunch was good, but not outstanding. Overall a good solid choice and definitely a better choice than the museum cafe. read more

Great place to go. They were about fifteen minutes from closing and still invited us in. The food and service were great.

Didn't expect it but, Focaccia's Delicatessen was magnificent. Pleasant atmosphere. Incredibly tasty and healthy. All of the staff are extremely welcoming - you truly feel welcome and taken care of. Focaccia's Delicatessen: Definitely coming back. read more

Enjoyable brunch and ambience. Food and drinks were delicious and they easily accommodated my request for a non-alcoholic mixed drink. Outdoor patio area is quite comfortable. Short walk across the street from the Renaissance Toledo read more

Great lunch today. The homemade focaccia bread and chips are amazing! I had the chicken cobb sandwich on focaccia, and my co-worker had the NY- NY with roast beef on rosemary bread. We each had water, and the bills were both under $10 dollars. There was also a take out counter, separate from the dining room, for walk-up orders. read more

We love coming to breakfast here! Today was definitely a different experience. We were seated in the lobby outside where we were the only table out there for about 15 minutes. There were multiple tables open in the restaurant. While I understand you always seat people in different sections to prevent one waitress getting slammed at once, perhaps filling the restaurant before seating someone outside the restaurant might be a better option. There was music and a much more pleasant atmosphere inside and we kind of felt like we were the outsiders looking in.The table we sat at had been brought in from outside and the chair was missing a board on the armrest that snagged one of our shirts. When we asked to speak to the manager, he acted as if he was annoyed by having to come talk to us and told us while we weren't seated there intentionally, we should have just asked if we wanted to sit somewhere else. He walked away before we could even address the problem with our chair. The food was decent and our waitress was great and very attentive. As we were leaving, they did at least get some music outside and seat one other table out there. Based on our experience with the manager, I probably wouldn't come back. read more

Great downtown lunch spot. Good food and amazing cheesecakes and desserts. Barb and the staff are terrific. read more

Went for Sunday brunch. Seated immediately. Lively place. Music just a little too loud for a Sunday morning. Service excellent. Food acceptable. Mimosa flights fun. Ordered beignets - there were 4 displayed nicely with fresh fruit - although they were a little doughy (I'm comparing to Cafe du Monde). Had Chicken Fajita Omelette - It had all the ingredients of chicken fajitas but was missing some of the fajita seasoning. Focaccia bread was excellent! read more

I love this place. They have the best chicken salad and high quality ingredients. I think it's a better bang for your buck than most downtown lunch spots, and the order online option allows you to breeze through and pick up your food when time is limited. The staff is friendly, too! I haven't eaten in but as far as my carryout experiences go, five stars. read more

This place was great for breakfast.Nice cocktail menu...with mimosa flights! Deviled eggs app was delicious. Eggs Benedict nicely prepared.

Wow! I am so lucky to have this place in our building. They have really good soups, sandwiches, and salads! Their white bean chicken chili is great for a healthy lunch or the salmon Caesar salad is SO GOOD. Sometimes, the consistency is a little off depending on who is cooking, but it's still good. Their desserts are to die for! The staff running the counter is always extremely friendly. read more

Me and my gf are both over 23 years old, and we had come in today for brunch and mimosas. My gf forgot her ID at home, so I ordered a flight of mimosas for myself and we ordered food. After my flight arrived and we were waiting for our food, my girlfriend (who again is 23) took a small sip of my mimosa to taste so we would know for the future (we had planned to come back again with her ID). Our waitress then came over and told us that she had seen her take a sip and the manager would be speaking with us for breaking the law. This made my gf start crying and panicking immediately, and when they saw that, the manger didn't even bother coming over. The waitress just said the manger would kick us out if we did it again, but we were already leaving. the fact that she would 1.) watch and monitor a clearly overage couple like she was our mom and 2.) tattle to her manager when she sees two people in their mid 20's drinking alcohol. She then gave a string of half-assed excuses and apologies as she brought us our food, which I should have sent back then and there because there was a hair in my salad and the chefs don't know what an over easy egg is. So, from the service (abysmal) to the food (unsanitary and overcooked) this place doesn't deserve the great location it's in Downtown. read more

Nice menu, nice people, fairly quick service. Nice owner. Good prices. One of the best deli/restaurants in town.

I was working across the street and stopped in for lunch. What really struck me was how well this place runs. You can look into the open kitchen and see that the staff has it down to a science. They really pump the food out fast and well prepared. The staff is friendly and the food is good. I had the Chutzpah sandwich, which is turkey, ham, bacon, swiss, lettuce and tomato with rosemary mayo on toasted challah bread. Very good sandwich with all fresh ingredients and for $7.59 with homemade chips and a pickle, it's a great value. The staff is friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this place, especially if you like a great sandwich! read more

Love this place! It's popular amongst the professionals in the nearby office buildings. You can order ahead of time and pick up your food or get it delivered. It's great for a quick lunch break! Aside from the great service their food is great and will fill you up. read more

This place never ever disappoints. I bring out of town lunch guests here often. I stick to the Holy Toledo sandwich. Very tasty turkey sandwich on amazing bread. Might be ciabbata or something...its SOOOO good. Making me hungry thinking about it. Very large menu. I've never seen anyone leave hungry or unhappy. It is busy for lunch everyday. read more

Family owned, homemade food that hits the spot. Service is not that of a $$$ restaurant but don't expect it and you'll be pleased. The food does the job. And if you're feeling a bit of a sweet tooth, treat yourself to a homemade slice of pie by the owner. #win read more

I have had a lot of good lunches a Focaccia's, but the menu is misleading. A lot of the salads include "grilled chicken breast" and "grilled chicken" can be added to any. That doesn't mean an actual chicken breast though, rather shredded chicken--that surprised me. It was also disappointing to find out to add an actual piece of grilled chicken to my salad, rather than shredded chicken, was quite an up charge. On the upside, the portions are generous and the staff is friendly! read more

Here it is it gets no better than this! The top sandwich eatery in Toledo area. Phenomenal classy service. Everything is top notch fresh and made fresh no exceptions, these guys are on it! The sizes of these sandwiches are huge. The meats melt in your mouth with an array of some of the finest Wisconsin cheese. The first time I had the Reuben Sandwich I was amazed by the beautiful color of the freshly made in house breads. The freshness of the vegetables the corned beef had such a sweet brilliant taste like the big apple deli these two arguably are the best Reubens in the state of Ohio. Excellent service fresh coke products. Home made potato chips with flavorings such an amazing taste these chips bring with that classic New England taste the atmosphere is an extremely classy business like setting. Only thing that pisses me off about this place is the hours of operation which is usually right around the lunch hour they aren't opened for breakfast or dinner it's understandable but I have the krave for one of their delicious sandwiches and they are closed by the time I get off work. Downtown Toledos best restaurant. Known for their sandwiches Numerous awards for. Taste and service #3 in top restaurants in Toledo #1 tied for best Deli sandwich shop in Toledo read more

I'm a little harsh on Toledo restaurant's because i'm from Dallas,TX where there is so much more options, BUT, this place got it down pack! Every time! Great service. Food comes out fast. Food is always consistently good! This is easily one of the best restaurants in Toledo! I always get the New York-New York but I switched it up the last time i went and asked for it on buttered and grilled Focaccia bread and they did it exactly. They might want to consider making it like that cuz it was so much better (no offense). And their ranch dressing is made in house and is banging! read more
