We visited for Mother's Day brunch, and originally I would have given a rating of 3 or 4, but that was knocked down to a 1 because we were essentially kicked out before some members of our party were even finished. We had a noon reservation, but the table wasn't ready until 12:15. The whole party of 11 (4 children) arrived and was was seated by 12:30, and drink orders were taken promptly by our server, whose name I didn't catch but who did a great job. The first round of drinks took about 15 minutes to make it to the table because the bar wasn't able to keep up with the volume. The ticket time on our food was no less than 30 minutes, so by the time the meal was delivered, it was around 1:30. The food was good, but I won't take time to review it, as we weren't given much time to think it over. At 2:15, just as my dad had finished signing the bill, a gentleman who had been working the expo line approached our table. He said, "I hate to be a killjoy on Mother's Day, but another party has a reservation for this table at 2, and it's already 2:15." Even though more than one person was still finishing a drink (because they took so long to get to our table), we kindly agreed to leave. We were all pretty appalled by this poor display of substandard customer service. The fact of the matter is that a restaurant should only reserve space for as many people as they can handle in any window of time. If tables are being sat 15 minutes late, ticket times on drinks are 15+ minutes, and food runs 30+min, it's unreasonable to think a table could be done in less than 2 hrs, especially on a holiday when most people are trying to spend quality time with family. If you're going to kick a table out while guests are still visiting and still eating or drinking, an offer should be made to move them to the bar and buy a drink, and an apology should be made. I hate to be a killjoy, but I don't think this place will see our business again. read more

My family frequented this restaurant alot when it first opened. Naturally, we wanted to support businesses in Keller. Several years ago, FnG fired Chef Otto and brought in two new guys. It was never the same after Chef Otto and we quit going. We quit going mainly because of the a chronic problem with food temperature (waffles, fries, and other things were routinely cold), failing to getting our orders correct (many times there was something wrong with at least one order at our table), and the worse problem of all - the utter lack of concern from management regarding their operational problems. We always felt that they were disinterested in caring about the guests because, for the most counts, they are the only restaurant of its type in Keller, and they just didn't feel that they needed to. Recently, we decided to give FnG a second try. Over the past few months we have been going for lunch and brunches. FnG still can't seem to get the temperature issues fixed. We have witnessed our orders just sitting under the heat lamp for literally 4-5 minutes while they wait on some other item to get prepared. It's a simple matter of poor management of the line activities. They still have an issue with accuracy of orders. Three of our last four times we visited we had something wrong, yet again. And throughout all of this, NEVER does the management EVER seem to care. Nary a visit to find out what they can do, even though the waiters were aware of our issues; nary an "I'm sorry"; nary a "Can we fix the problem"; nothing. They just give you the bill minus the problem ticket item. There is zero interest in improving. There is definitely a sense of arrogance at this place. One manager just walks around most of the time (always in clothes that appear to not have been washed in awhile) with a phone stuck in his ear talking loudly, as if he wants everyone to hear him, while the other manager just stands stoichly at the food line acting like he is 'in charge'. Being in charge of such a flawed system is nothing of which to be proud. Management's obvious lack of concern for fixing their problems and their failure to listen to the interest of their clientele, is exactly why my family has learned our lesson. We won't give them a third chance. We just hope that another restaurant will open in Keller that will give us an option other than Southlake. In the meantime, there's still Devivo Bros., Classic Cafe, Red Rock Canyon, Wildwood, Winewood, Del Friscos, Brios, and others that we will rely upon. Sorry FnG. read more

Friendly service. Food is super fresh and made to order. Special orders are encouraged. I highly recommend.

I have eaten here twice - once for lunch where I had the Turkey burger and once for dinner where I had the veggie pasta dish. It's difficult for me to find options on their menu as a lot of things have dairy and I'm allergic, however everything I have eaten here is good. The drinks are great and happy hour makes the specialty cocktails around $5. I've heard the Caesar salad with salmon is a good choice - I can't have Caesar dressing so I will just have to take their word for it! read more

Great place for relaxed Sunday brunch. Lunch and dinner is fabulous as well. Food is consistently good.

Have been here twice for lunch. Love it! Their food is fresh and the chefs have added an imaginative twist to some standard favs. Love the fact that it really has something different to offer. I've had their soup of the day twice, and both times, amazing. Different soup du jour each day of the week. Sandwiches are fantastic, too. There aren't hundreds of items on their lunch menu as you would find on a typical chain restaurant menu, but I think that helps keep what they do offer, very good quality, and fresh. If you are expecting the usual lunch items that you would find at a chain, this place might not be for you. But if you are looking for something really flavorful and different....try it! Service is excellent, friendly, and efficient, as well! I'll be back! read more

This is one of our favorite local places and we go at least once a week. Great, local food and decent service. But, I have to say I was disappointed tonight. After a somewhat large lunch, I ordered a glass of wine and side of asparagus for dinner. My son ordered the special-salmon which was delicious. Imagine my surprise when I receive me 4 stalks on a plate. really? $7 for 4 stalks of asparagus? I'm thinking I will find another local place to frequent with better value-there are plenty in the Keller area to be found. read more

Very good. Casual food. Interior low key. Will return. Bison top shelf. In the burger and shepards pie

The only reason there's not a 5th Star is because the waitress seemed very uninterested in being a waitress. Food and drinks were great! The waitress however, was not (can't remember her name). Every time we asked her for something it seemed like a huge inconvenience to her. Every time she came to the table she would drop whatever it was off and run off to avoid any further questions. Such a shame for a good restaurant. They need to evaluate their employees. read more

Awesome Saturday brunch. Had the hangover bowl, brisket eggs benedict, and mimi's panini. Wonderful fresh food and terrific service!

I have eaten here 3 times with friends, two dinners and one lunch. Here are my random thoughts. I enjoyed appetizers, salads, and soups very well. One of the salads reminded me of 3 forks salad and i had the chowder soup which was also very good. The appetizers were good. We ordered a sampling and all were decent. The dinner cooked perfectly. There was a rib eye, pork chop, fish and chicken entrees ordered . The first three items were raved about. The chicken breast was average but nothing special according to picky eater in our group. Sides were all good. For desert, i highly recommend jalapeno ice concoction, does not sound good, but boy was shockingly good.. Do not recommend chocolate stick dessert unless you are dark chocolate fan and even then...come on Jalapeno ice cream. Service was friendly - Chef walking around and happy to make recommendations. Same decor as city hall to me. Bar was good, but a tad slow on drink orders from table as an area for improvement. Yes, the place is loud when packed, but so are most good places (volume). Overall, when i compare this place to any restaurant in Keller its definitely stands out on top. Also, even in southlake because that is all mainly boring restaurant chain drones. This reminds me of dallas or fort worth boutique spot but with more of family spin. read more

We had brunch. The Bloody Mary was pretty good. Service was very good. I had the Creole biscuits, gravy, and chorizo. Others in my group had the brisket Benedict and the Cuban sandwich. We were all very happy with the food and the service. read more

I absolutely adore this place. The food is fantastic, I completely obsessed with their Turkey Bourbon Cranberry Sandwich. My boyfriend no long has to ask what I want to eat on a lunch date, he's knows FnGs is my favorite. The chefs are very kind and the service is always great. I've never had a bad experience at FnGs. I highly recommend it for any semi casual outing. read more

The service was comparable to Dennys or Ihop. The food was mediocre. Will not go back.

I eat the BBQ back ribs and wife had fish and chips was disappointed. The food had no flavor just bland. It was late night so the might of been ready to close but. I also noticed the 2 chefs were not around. Don't know if I go back petty sad trying to support local business read more

After relocating from Houston where I lived in the city with all kinds of funky, fun, non-chain eateries...Living in suburban Keller, I was afraid I would not find a dining experience beyond the world of chain foods. Alas, FnG Eats came to my rescue! Good service with knowledgeable wait staff, interesting dishes on the menu that are well prepared and a decent wine list. All of which are located only a few miles from my suburban home.......SWEET!!! read more

This place is great in regards to the food! It's savory and unique! From the chicken n waffles to the jalapeño cornbread, there's something for everyone. The waiting staff experiences haven't been the best, but the food is worth it! Great brunch place read more

Fn good eats. The pot roast is so yum! My husband loved the Kobe sliders- the French fries are so freaking good. The menu is pretty diverse- I really wanna try the mac n cheese but due to concern for my diet I got the pot roast instead. I love being able to sit outside in the gorgeous Texas weather. The servers are great and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant. The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is I view the menu to be pretty pricey. Maybe if my meal came with soup or a salad or something I could justify the price but for $20 it was expensive for what it came with. read more

This place is expensive. Which I expected, but the servers get a d for friendliness and efficiency. A $10.00 wedge salad that says Campari tomatoes should never be brought with 3 cherry tomatoes the prime rib was only ok. A little tough. I would not recommend this place. This is my second and last time to visit read more

Disappointed by bartender trying to scam us had two drinks and appetizer for $34 and he tried to charge $58 for another cash paying tab. Buyers beware of scams!!! Food and drinks were good and have taken clients there but will think twice about this venue next time due to lack serious lack of integrity of their staff! Hope I see refund in three days as they assured, not worth 15% tip after my troubles! read more

We have been there for dinner before and the food is decent nothing to write home about. I did however enjoy their cocktails. However two out of the three times I have been there I was disappointed in Their waitstaff. My last experience was unfortunately the last straw.A friend of ours recommended we go there for brunch and I did not have a chance look at the menu. Once I reached there I quickly realized my mistake as there were no gluten-free options. Interestingly enough they did not even offer an omelette and were not willing to make one even though they had all the ingredients. I understand I was at fault by not looking at the menu but seriously you can't even make an omelette !!!! read more

We have eaten here 3 times now and every time is better. The food is creative, but most of all great tasting. This is exactly the type of restaurant Keller has needed. The food and drinks are reasonably priced and the tastes of everything we have had from Coconut Flounder to Beef Tipped Salad to Salmon Deviled Eggs to Spicy Bloody Mary with Pepper Infused Vodka have far exceeded our expectations. Professional staff with a very clean and fun atmosphere. Knowing Bob, everything will continue to get better every day. read more

Really bad everything. Waited a year to post since they have only been open about 14 months. Menu is ok but food isn't. Best thing is fish & chips and that's sad. The chef has seen us at the bar many times and isn't friendly. The bartenders seem frustrated and it's a downer every time. read more

Visited for the first time yesterday. Wanted to try a new place and was excited when we saw the menu. Restaurant was understaffed. Waited over 40 minutes for our food. Once we got our food, my eggs Benedict were very undercooked. I was willing to live with it and send it back and wait until we tasted my wife's pancakes. They were burnt and we both thought they were the worst pancakes we had ever tasted. It was very easy to see the pancakes were burnt. I'm not sure why they ever reached our table. I also thought the eggs benedict were way overpriced for what you get. We showed our waitress and although she was apologetic no manager came to talk to us. We paid for our drinks and left and went down the street to another restaurant. read more

This is our go to date night place. The Lodo dip is a great starter, the drinks are strong and good, and most of the dinner options work. The only reason this is not a 5 star review is because occasionally the entrees we have tried are not as good, especially the chicken dish. All in all I recommend it, just be smart about what you order. read more

Atmosphere was great service was fast and food and drink were delicious. What more can you ask for. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

Fabulous New Year's Eve dinner! Every course was delicious and great wine! Nice atmospher

I agree with Nancy W 1. Pricey. I can find a better lunch for half the price. 2. Find us the best seat available the first time, not the worst and don't look offended if we ask for another table. A seat near the door on a cold, blustery day which has high traffic? Think. What are you saving the back room for? 3. Ask if we want water 4. It is noisey. So, hire a wait staff that can project their voices when necessary. It is embarrassing for an older person to constantly ask the waiter/waitress to speak up. 5. How is it that I know the shade of lipstick being worn by the last lady to use the cup you gave me? read more

We sat at the interactive bar in front of the hickory fired grill and we were thoroughly entertained by chef Brad and his TLC for grilling. He had a smile on his face and a spring in his step the entire time we were there & plated his prowess like you were in his personal kitchen. His passion performed on the plate and our meals were scrumptious!! FnG restaurant has a robust selection of interesting wines off the beaten path at price points that won't kill date night out mojo. We highly recommend this little neighborhood jewel - and the Henry's vanilla ice cream for dessert tasted like almond wedding cake. Ridiculously delicious xxxx read more

Not much of a lunch menu, and pricey. No kids menu. Not impressed with what was available on the lunch menu, a strange selection of food choices, so I struggled to figure out what I wanted from the lunch menu. I settled for a salad, but they didn't have ranch dressing. Would have been better if I could have ordered a steak or salmon from the dinner menu on a Sunday afternoon. I won't be back. Too expensive, too small of a menu selection, and not family friendly. read more

Normally an awesome choice, but bartender couldn't make recommendations, staff hanging out at bar, gave lunch menu just to advise it was now dinner menu after orders had been made, normally five stars 3 today read more

Service was excellent. It's hard to find this kind of food in Fort Worth area, so we appreciated that. They could use more vegetarian options on the menu. I didn't care for the trio of dips; it wasn't much more than shredded cheeses with mayo. But the fish was good. My guy enjoyed the pot roast and would order again. Lavender ice cream!!!!! Yum. They change the ice cream flavors regularly, but all around solid dessert menu. read more

Have eaten here three times and have yet to have a bad meal or bad service. They have a full-service bar, I recommend the Moscow Mule. The wine list is sufficient. I've had the Prime Rib, ribs and the pork chop. All were very good. Nice neighborhood restaurant with good quality food and service. read more

Absolutely love this place. Everything is so fresh and tasty. My daughter had the cornbread waffles and loved them. My wife had the turkey bourbon panini and it was very hardy and fresh. I had the Chicken Tira and it was big enough for two meals, but it was so good I kept eating even though I was full. The Lodo dip is a great way to start the meal - more than a queso dip. Great service and great atmosphere. read more

It's good -- it's REALLY good. Brunch was amazing had the blueberry pancakes and they rocked. Only 4 stars because we sat inside and noticed that since they used a wood burning grill our clothes smelled like a campfire the rest of the day. Definitely one of the better restaurants in out area! read more

The food/atmosphere is good, but the ventilation is terrible and ruins the experience. I've mentioned this problem to the management before but they always seem to have a story/excuse as to why it's so smoky. I truly don't think they are too concerned about it. The last couple of time I was there the smoke was so heavy that my eyes were burning and I left way sooner than I would have in different conditions. I smelled like a campfire when I left there, so I don't think I will be going back anytime soon. read more

FnG's is such a mix of culinary goodness, it's an upscale atmosphere but casual at the same time. It's a great place for a nice business lunch/dinner or an outing with the family. I've tried the turkey cranberry sandwich which is amazing, smokey bacon and turkey mixed with the sweetness of the cranberries on a flavorful focaccia bread. I've also tried the fish and chips which was some of the best fish I have had! They have a lemon blueberry cheesecake that is to die for! If your looking for something a little different, FnG's is the place! read more

This place is right up our alley. Very flavorful food and was delicious! We had the trio cheese dip with chips for an appetizer and it was excellent. I had the angel hair pasta with chicken, sun dried tomatoes and artichokes. Wow! Yummy. My husband had the flat iron steak with garlic potatoes and he was very pleased too. We will definitely come back! read more

When you walk in, this place looks cozy and delightful. It's usually full of older people, congregating over drinks. The food I ordered was decent, but the lady waiting our table was something else. She wasn't very friendly to me, but she was just the sweetest to my boyfriend. No, I'm not just being the jealous and insecure girlfriend here, but I do work in the hospitality business and I do understand the importance of treating all parties with equal respect. I would return just do drinks and eat creme brûlée, however, I won't be returning for an overpriced salad and rude staff. The food should get three stars, but the lady waiting on me gets one star...thus this place receives a two star rating from me. read more
