The burgers were cooked correctly (medium and medium well). The burger buns were not oversized, which often is the case, and it was a well-balanced burger-to-bun ratio. The dressing for the side salad, a peach vinaigrette (I think), which I got on the side, was different but tasty. Price was quite reasonable at $11.50. I will likely return. read more

Went back for the first time since the last visit was bad. Asked to be seated at a booth and were told they reserve it for larger parties (we had four). No worries, we get seated. While we were eating a party of three and two parties of four were seated at the booths. To top it all off, our eggs came out cold. Poor execution, bad customer service. We were thrilled to try a new place for dinner and loved the menu. However, 45min after we ordered we still had no food at our table nor had it been even started. Apparently the kitchen dropped the ball. We watched playe after plate go by and everything looked great. We left without ever getting our order. Very disappointing. I ordered the Brisket Benedict and my boyfriend had the California Benedict. Both meals were like warm at best, overly smothered in the bearnaise sauce, you could barely taste anything else, and both our eggs were underdone. The brisket was very fatty as well. Hubby and I came to this restaurant on our first date after baby #2. When we arrived, we were seated right away on a Friday evening and were greeted promptly by our waiter. The waiter introduced us to their menu and drink menu and lmgave us time to look over the items. When we were ready, it was as of our waiter had telepathic powers and was right at our table to take our order. The drinks we ordered was amazing and we also ordered sn appetizer and two entrees. Everything was delicious however, we enjoyed the drinks more than the food. I think the next time we go we will stick with drinks and appetizers. read more

Our meals were amazing. I had the chefs special which was a breaded pork chop over potatoes and Brussel sprouts, my son in law had meatloaf with cheesy potatoes and my daughter had a cheese burger and fries. All of us ate every bite and commented it's one of the best meals we've ever had. This restaurant has been down the block from us for years and for some reason wasn't on our radar. It is now! This is a neat little local spot with fresh farm to market food and drinks. The restaurant and patio are not big but if you go early enough on a weekend or during the week you can get a great table. The food is always fresh and delicious and the staff is always nice and efficient. The Mesquite smell of the wood bothers me sometimes... But if you are allergic you can sit outside and it is not as bad. Will go back! Try it! read more

Third time I go here! We planned to go for the blackened redfish sandwich however it's only served during lunch and barely missed it. I settled for the special of a some type of fish with jasmine rice and the boyfriend got Cesar salad with salmon both were great! The following time we were too early so I settled for the California Benedict and he got the Mami panini not too bad but we had to come back once again for the blackened redfish. Mmmm, my steak salad was yummy! Loved the variety of greens, the onions and the dressing. Super delish. My man had the fish and chips and he was not as impressed. Service was very good, our server was friendly and kind. It is pretty darn noisy in the restaurant which makes conversation a strain. Let's start with the appetizer! The deviled eggs are something extremely special. The egg filling is light and airy with great flavor and it is topped with siracha smoked pork (not spicy) and grilled onion! Oh and a little great quality cheddar cheese. Previously loved this place staff has become very negative and even rude. Made the mistake of stopping in here with my family after walking through the Keller park. We were treated like criminals for bringing in our water bottles we offered to place them at the hostess station but were rudely told that we would have to leave by waitress with an attitude. Body language between this waitress and chef appeared that there was a personal relationship going on. Not mine to be concerned with. Our party of 9 dined here and our collective experience was wonderful. Several of us had the grilled meatloaf and it was absolutely delicious. The chef/ owner came out the chat with us and explained how he made our meals. You could tell he was very invested in making sure everyone was happy. The service was a tinch slow, but was had a large group so really not a huge deal. I have to add that our group dined at Del Frisco's in Southlake the next night and we were very disappointed. I've been here twice, the first time was decent it was only for a drink. The 2nd time was this past Friday night for dinner with friends. When I got there my friends were sitting at the bar but no more seats were available but there was a booth next to the area so we thought we could get it but before this I did go to the hostess (young girl with dark rimmed glasses) and asked her if we could sit there. She was very rude and said "no you can't sit yourself there." I then asked her if she could sit us there and along with a sigh said yes. I honestly could not see why the attitude was needed. She's a hostess which is a customer service based job and the first person a customer sees when walking through the door. I did not want to ruin a fun night with friends so I didn't mention it. Our waitress was excellent and I believe one of the owners came by and asked us about one of their new drinks that my friend was having. He said he had created the recipe. If it weren't for the waitress or the guy I probably wouldn't go back. Customer service is a make it or break it for me. We recently moved into the area and have been wanting to finding a place that had good quality that was up to par with what we have had in Austin, TX. FNG hit it out of the park in flavor. I love me some eggs Benedict and their California Benedict was nothing short of heavenly! The chicken and waffles we got the kiddos (1 order split for into 2) came in two plates for our kiddos and they left nothing on the plate! The gravy was FnG, good! :) My wife had the blue berry pancakes with eggs and bacon. She usually has left overs to take home, not this time! :) She enjoyed everything in the plate. There is one little thing I'd recommend. First impressions are everything and a smile can go a long way with a hostess. We were greeted but not with the kind of excitement one would expect from a hostess. That said, five stars for the epic, seriously-wonderfully tasting food and awesome service! Really enjoyed stopping by FnG Eats for brunch. It isn't in my normal stomping grounds but it was definitely a place I would love to come back to if I ever venture back out to Keller. The menu is interesting with so many different Eggs Benedict options. There is definitely something for everyone there. I chose the Parlez Benedict and was not let down. The mix of the apples, bacon, and brie all made for a great mix of sweet and savory. It is a huge serving that definitely was more than I could stomach in one sitting. I was disappointed there wasn't a side option because a nice cup of fruit would have been great. There might be and I just didn't see it so I don't hold that against them. I was starving by the time we got here for brunch so my eyes were definitely not searching for every little detail! Their drink menu is the best deal/option I have seen for a Bloody Mary. For $3 you get a spicy Bloody Mary with several garnishes and a yummy salty rim. I could definitely sit there and drink them all day. I also liked the option of regular mimosa,prickly pear mimosa, and poinsettia mimosa for $3. The rest of the cocktail menu looked interesting and I would love to come back to try other food options. read more

We love going to FNG. Our favorite is the burger. I love to see what their burger of the week is. Every single one I get is amazing. I usually get that with their wonderful side salad. It is so good. Also their cobbler with cinnamon ice cream is so good!! If you love the crust in cobbler you will love theirs. I have also had their pasta. It was really good. It is a bit smoky in there. That is my only complaint. The waiters are always amazing. Great sweet tea here too!! read more
