The rocket ships slide - An indoor children's play area includes a ship-shaped structure with slides, climbing zones, and colorful lighting, designed for kids aged 1-10.

We are here in this lovely new happy facility place for a birthday party. First impressions are the excellent high-quality of maintenance of everything because it is so new and well thought out with quality structures, installations, and thoughtful features everywhere. Parking is very easy on Stockton Street with Myrtle Avenue parking nearby and copious amount of readily available parking. They have validated parking on floor 2 above the business indoors for $10 for 4h, a very helpful one for cover. Its entrance is on Myrtle Ave. For birthday parties, they have two birthday rooms, 1 smaller sized for about 12 children and 2 large sized easily holding over 30 children plus 1-2 parents each. Services, including custom cake, and pizza and decorations and water bottles and apple juice box service, among so many other custom ones. Installed are photo backdrops and some default birthday decorations and other birthday celebration paraphernalia. Special thanks and nods to the staff for high-quality service and for every service and for enabling such a fun zone for the kids. The cleaning staff are constantly busy and their dedication and labor show. The bathrooms are especially important because so many Urban Air and competitors cannot keep up in the bathroom department. It is especially in portant because everyone is wearing socks. I well recommend this business for a great fun time in safe well maintained facilities for your kids. Kudos to the owners and staff for new fun!

I came here for my son who wanted to visit for the longest. It was also his birthday yesterday and he did have an amazing time, however I was not really sure comfortable with my experience there. I'd like to start off by saying the place is very clean and I called before going because apparently they close for private events/parties. Open play was available and it wasn't crowded at all. The kids had such a great time but this place is geared specifically for children 10 or maybe 12 and under. Any older, it may not be enjoyable. Arcade games are so expensive. VR set is $5 per player rather than for both seats the game holds. The claw machines are fun and it's a winner every time but the cost to get a small plushie is $8. The excitement of a child winning a plushie on their own is cute and I liked that. The reason for my 3 star rating is because they do not sell food of any type. They have a vending machine with beverages that DO NOT accept cash at all or coins. The Gatorade is $3 and a Costco brand water $1.50. Since the machine doesn't take cash you can use card, they take $10 out of your account just to get a $1.50 water. I swiped my debit card 3 times ($30.00) because the employee assured me it doesn't take $10.00 out of your card. I decided to check my bank account and sure enough it took those $10.00 3 separate times and I only got 1 water. The manager assured me it's just a "Safety feature" the vending machine has and I'm like what? I've never heard of this. Those charges are still on my account a day later so I have to dispute that now with my bank. The young female employee doesn't know what she's doing, she's just answering questions as if she knew the answers. There's a big ball pit area in the back which is super cute but I noticed signs all over saying it's for children under 6. Wrong! The employees told everyone they can go back there if they wanted to as the play place was getting crowded. There was a mom there with a small toddler who had just arrived and she left 30 minutes in because so many big, wild spirited children were back there playing roughly and I felt so bad. That toddler had a paid admission and didn't even get to enjoy it. I saw everyone drinking and eating their own food in the front area with chairs so you can bring your own food and drinks inside. I wish I would've known this ahead of time but this is why reviews like mine should be written. Details matter and I could've saved $30.00 on 1 bottle of water, Ha! There's a little boy who plays in there and his mother works there. She needs to watch her child! The entire time he was physically harming older children including mine. My son is autistic and doesn't have tolerance for someone putting their hands on him. I spoke to him and told the boy to please go away and leave him alone. The boy said "My mom works here so I can stay wherever I want" I just left it alone. He's a child but not a nice one. So be careful because he's always there and he does hit quite often. Overall 3/5 stars because kids enjoy it but A LOT needs to be implemented. (Toddler play area, Food, vending machine chargers, owners son hitting children etc....) I'd probably come back for sure to let the kids burn off energy. I went at 2pm on a weekday and it got super crowded close to 5pm. It's $21.99 for a child with 1 free adult. They don't actually check which adults come in and out anyway and they don't watch any children. My nephew who's also autistic almost ran out the front door when he got tired of playing.

We went for a birthday party and the kids had so much fun!! The staffs were super friendly and the place is clean which is very important in my opinion.

For children aged 5 and up no places for the children younger to play. If your child is into arcades they have plenty of games

I tried to push through but was then checkin in by the horrible staff member who didnt end smile. Didnt even tell me the total when paying for my two children = $23 + $18 = $41 nor have a receipt. I was told it would be emailed, but never got that either. The cost came with an open room with worn down items, broken toys, no coffee station (even though there is a sign), and not even a stocked bathroom. Toys were bent, old, overly used and wearing off. Even the bins from IKEA were falling apart.. IKEA items should be easily replaced as they are cheap. The facilities was worn down as well, paint chipped or peels off on seating area and slides. Mural is still nice. The "cafe" area seating was pushed to the wall, not allowing a place to sit while the worker was putting streamers on a board for the private room. There is no water fountain to refill your water bottle. Again, advertised coffee and tea.. when asked was told "nothing, you can go to starbucks" as I pointed to the sign the worker said "OH"! I had to give the front desk girl broken items and she left in the lobby area!! I can see her just putting them back in after we leave in order not to deal with it. As a representative of the space, she was horribly spaced out with a negative demeanor as if she hates her job. Private room for classes and parties is cute... I believe this is where their energy goes to. I can see it good for a 1 year bday party. Ages 2 and over for open play with bore out fast. I reflect constently on how truly disappointing it was!!

Right inside the door there's a stroller parking area, which was quite crowded but we made it work. The class was full of moms, dads, other nannies, and tons of kiddos mostly ages 1.5-4. The music teacher was really charming with the kids, had lots of songs prepared, and boxes of instruments with easy rhythm games, and ways to get adults involved as well. We had a blast! There's a fairly large playroom outside of the classroom that has soft jungle gym toys, a big wooden play kitchen, lots of pretend food, balls, a huge safe space to play. I also noticed lots of cleaner nearby, which was a relief, I bet a place like that gets a lot of germs real quick. The parents of my little charge told me that I can always take him there, especially on a rainy day, its only $10 for the whole day.

When you enter there's a spot to place your shoes which is like a shoe display area which is a bit different and kind of cool. They have a lot are rideable cars for the kids. The set up is pretty cool too it's like a large tree house. There's also a water area, a make believe grocery store and the 18 month and younger play area. Something for all the kids up to age 6. The back right is the area where they serve food which is equiped with a soda machine. My friend told me all the food was cateredby twinkle. Pizza and pasta was good. Wings were ok. Fruit platter was good especially for the kids and the fries were soggy but my 1 year old didn't mind. The cake was chocolate and vanilla. I had the chocolate which was really moist and not too sweet. Party experience here was really great and it was from 5 to 8 so it was nice we had the entire area to ourselves.

Winter in NYC with a kid is no joke. Before becoming a parent, my main goal on freezing weekends…read morewas staying cozy. Now? It's finding places where my child can actually burn energy when outdoor playgrounds are basically off-limits. Enter Space Club, the solution to this problem. From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place was thoughtfully designed with both kids and parents in mind--exactly as they describe on their website. Getting tickets at the door was easy, with no wait: you just provide the phone number associated with your account, and that's it! I really appreciated that tickets aren't strictly timed: you can drop in anytime that day, which takes a lot of pressure off planning. The socks-only policy and large shoe-off area also immediately set the tone for cleanliness (and yes, my white socks stayed white). There are tons of well-padded play areas, obstacle courses, sensory rooms, and quiet corners[1]. Also, unique to this location, a bounce house. Unlike many indoor play gyms, this place is actually enjoyable for adults too. The café offers smoothies, coffee, and snacks[2], and you can bring your own food/drinks. Parking right outside is a rare bonus for Greenpoint. One small downside: despite clear signs saying no food or drinks in the play areas, I saw several parents bringing large coffee drinks (even into the bouncy castle). Not Space Club's fault (in fact, I saw staff members going to some of these parents to ask them to bring their drinks outside the pay areas), but I do wish this rule were enforced more consistently. The temperature runs a bit cooler than at their Fort Greene location, perhaps due to the fact that this is one single, large, floor. While it wasn't uncomfortable at first, I did start to feel chilly after being there for about three hours. Overall, it's clean, well-run, and totally worth it. We'll definitely be back. ------------------------------- [1] Especially great for kids who need a calmer, sensory-friendly environment. [2] Note the no-nuts policy.
