They have a lovely outdoor seating area you can enjoy, we took our stuff to go but the area looked so cozy. I ordered a delicious strawberry refresher and a festively decorated chocolate brownie. 9 dollars and change for both. Not bad at all as the brownie was huge. The menu is rotating so they had items on the menu board that were not available when I visited. Quick service with a smile. I will stop in anytime I am in the area if they are open. The brownie was the perfect texture and I was able to eat it over a few nights due to the size. Amazing quality!

I tried a cupcake that was from this business…read more I'm not a huge fan of desserts so when my friend gave me a cupcake to try I wasn't expecting much. She had poo pooed magnolias cupcakes from NYC on a recent trip. Once I took a bite into the delicious cupcake I was amazed. The frosting is perfectly light, creamy, and not overly sweet. The cake part was super moist and fluffy. I have never had such Ana amazing cupcake. I cannot speak for the location but only for the cupcake since it was take out for someone's birthday but I have to say if the cupcakes are that good... Then I must make a trip out.

It changed…read moreownership several years ago and I found that the new owner kept the recipes up that we had all come to love. But the bakery was sold again and now I will never- ever use it again and it's really sad. The new owner made a terrible mistake on an important order and wouldn't fix it. And worse, she didn't seem to care. Even though I had all the emails between us and had been specific, she was basically like, oh well... What a shame that a bakery that had built such a wonderful reputation over the past (almost) 30 years has been now reduced to nothingness. I know I'm not alone in saying- this business would have been better off going out on a high note rather than being reduced to an incompetence that might just lead to an unhappy ending.

The stand now sells cheese from Golden Age Cheese Company located in Woodhull, who has been serving 100% naturally mild to aged cheddars since 1983, and are 100% rBST free milk, and never manufacture their cheeses with animal rennet, they use strictly vegetable or microbial rennet. Fresh baked bread, including the most popular "Salty Bread", pies, a variety of croissants and other fresh baked pastries, and pepperoni & sausage bread is also available daily. Fresh fudge is also on the menu with several delicious flavors. I'm not really sure how my wife came across this place, but we are both glad she did. We have been out several times and have not been disappointed with anything we have purchased food wise - we've tried a little bit of everything - pepperoni & sausage bread, cheese and cheese curds, croissants and desserts, breakfast sandwiches - and everything has been great. You can argue they're a little on the pricier side, but we don't feel like it's crazy higher than stuff you buy in stores, and the quality is absolutely there. We'll be regular customers.
