Super cute locally sourced cheese stand that's a local favorite! Very popular place to stop and get fresh backed breads, treats, fudge and of course cheese! When we arrived we were the only ones there, the owner Penny greeted us and talked as we sampled 4, 5, 7, 11 and 18 year old cheddar cheese's... so amazing. I went with the 11 and a friend purchased the 18. Also, their pepperoni bread is so delicious!! Get it! Check web for hours, and seasons

Chelle's Bake Shop - Spinach cheddar and tomato quiche was tasty once I removed the crust.

I was on vacation in Fair Haven and wanted to get in a bit of shopping. I was walking the strip…read morewhere Chelle's Bake Shop was located and walked in because I'm always in the mood for baked goods. I picked a triple ginger cookie, a lemon ricotta cookie and a blueberry/lemon scone. They were to die for! So here I am back in Rochester craving these cookies. I think there is a road trip to Oswego in my near future. I need more. I'll be back sooner than later! Must try!

I went for a slice of the spinach, cheddar tomato quiche, warmed, and a molasses cookie. First the good. The cookies was delicious. Moist, flavorful with just the right spices. The quiche was a mixed bag. Overall the flavor was pretty good...a tad bland but ok. But the crust was just awful. It was almost totally raw...and not just the wet crust under the egg but the edges too. There is no way they blind baked it at all. I was able to peel the entire crust off the egg with it breaking. There was no crumble at all. I could squeeze the edge and flatten it without it crumbling. I hate to be this critical but it was very bad. Everything else looked so good and because the egg part and the cookie were good I will definitely try again.

Until this week, when we finally had a chance to visit the shop! The cutout cookies are AMAZING, like the best I've ever had. And they're adorable! The designs are constantly changing with the seasons and holidays. But they have other delicious things to choose from too. Cookies, brownies, cupcakes, the list goes on! You can find Sweet Blessings right on Main St in Shortsville. I've always been a sucker for these quaint little small town Main St shops, and this one is no different. There are cute signs in the window and a delicious smell greets you as you open the door to enter. There are tables and chairs strewn about if you want to stay and enjoy your baked goods. At the counter there is a display with a nice selection of treats, and they are constantly rotating stock. Behind the counter you can see cookies and other delicious goodies getting their finishing touches added on. I highly recommend if you've got a sweet tooth, are looking for a spot to have a treat and meet up with friends, or have a gathering you are looking to bring goodies to!
