Received a confirmation email and had my address which was wild. Fast forward to Monday and they arrived 25 minutes before their scheduled time. They sent a text that they would be arriving in 30 minutes and then they were there. Usually would be happy for a plumber to arrive early, but wife had a work call and I was driving home from work to meet him. He was ringing the doorbell a bunch which annoyed my wife, but life happens. Joel was very nice and said we needed to call CPL to locate where exactly the leak is. He gave me the wrong number for CPL even though I read the number back to him. True Plumbing didn't have any appointments the next day, but Joel found a way to squeeze me in to take a look after CPL completed their inspection. Sent two estimates which I had questions about. I talked to Joel on the phone and he answered them all. I really like that he was able to do cement work which some places wouldn't do. He was also very impressive when listening to him explain what our system could look like and what our options would be. At that time, we were already having an ADU built in our backyard, and when the contractor found out we wanted a new tankless heater and water filter installed on our main house, he offered us a discount and installed a tankless heater. It ended up being a big mistake as they did a very sloppy job. Fast forward to this past September 2025, and my wife put out a Yelp request to get a water filtration system installed. She did not know that Pure Plumbing had come out previously, but I recognized Bryan's name when my wife told me he would be coming to the house. He walked my wife through everything while I was at work, and she was impressed by him too. He even pointed out where our contractor's plumber had made a major mistake with our tankless heater. I also had a concern about a dripping sound I'd hear when I ran hot water for awhile from each sink in the house. We ran water from a sink and once we heard the "dripping" he immediately knew what it was. This is not a hard-to-find property - we regularly receive deliveries, contractors, and even DoorDash drivers with zero issues. At that point, communication completely broke down on their end. My husband drove out to locate the plumber and called him multiple times. The plumber repeatedly sent him to voicemail and did not return calls. My husband then called the office and asked that the plumber call him back. The office said okay. No call came. When my husband finally got through, the plumber said, "I'm in the middle of nowhere." My husband offered to have him drop his location so he could physically guide him in. The plumber refused and said, "Just find someone else." I then called the office myself. Instead of offering a solution, or another technician, I was told: "I don't know what to tell you. When we look up your address, we only see bushes and plants." That statement is simply false. Our address is clearly mapped, and again, other service providers find it daily without issue. The tone was dismissive and essentially amounted to "Oh well - find someone else." Key issues: - They confirmed they service my area, then refused to complete the job. - The plumber ignored repeated calls while knowing my husband was actively trying to help him. - No attempt was made to troubleshoot navigation, send another plumber, or offer any resolution. - Communication was avoided rather than handled professionally. If your company relies on GPS and mobile communication, your technicians need to be capable of using it - and answering the phone. At the bare minimum, basic respect and follow-through are expected. This was a complete waste of time and extremely unprofessional. Do not say you service an area if you are unwilling to actually drive to it.
