The employee at the front counter--whom other customers referred to as Joe--was exceptionally unwelcoming. He stared at me blankly when I walked in and completely ignored me, yet immediately greeted the customers behind me. I regret staying to order instead of walking out. The clear difference in treatment made me feel discriminated against as a person of color. If a business cannot offer equal respect and basic hospitality to all customers, it shouldn't be open. I then got told that when they set the coffee down that they couldn't fix it and to go over to the counter area and fix it myself. All the manager on duty said to me was I'm sorry. Well when you give people no other option but to walk out with things they didn't order and don't fix it your sorry doesn't mean much, does it? I told her it wasn't her fault but people should pay attention when someone orders. My advice is if you go in there, make them repeat the order back before you pay!!!! They won't fix their errors.

The kitchen was severely backed up and we were given no warning when we got there for our 6:30 reservation. We were immediately seated and ordered and didn't get our entrees until after 8p. Once received, it was all severely overcooked, even the salmon ordered for the dog (which he normally loves and refused to eat). However, the appetizer we ordered was pretty decent (bread and meatballs). Hopefully this was just an off night for them but it really pushed back our night and travel plans as we were only traveling through.
