I just returned for a Christmas gel manicure last week. Tressie did a great job. The manicures here are always well done & last 3+ weeks. My only negative is that they tack on a $3 sanitation fee to every bill, and that was added during the pandemic, which was understandable when they went above and beyond with what they had to buy for safety and cleanliness. But sanitation is the nature of a salon business so I wish that that extra $3 fee was not still on there because sometimes it's added into the final price I'm given and I've tipped on it, which in my opinion is not right. I was also surprised that it was an extra $7 for cat eye gel. I do totally understand the extra for nail art, but waving a magnet in front of your nail for a nano-second, $7 seems a little excessive. But I'm guessing it's because that polish costs more than regular gel. Anyway they do a great job here, but they are pricier than other salons in the area. I advise booking well in advance for holidays especially, as finding a walk in slot here is tough.

Some friends of mine go to a salon in Lawrenceville and rave about both the salon itself but also how much they prefer it to dip or acrylic. I wanted to find somewhere closer to my office but was having trouble finding a place that understood what I was asking for (ie, not a gel manicure, but this hard gel). I stumbled on Elle's Beauty Bar during my search and went to the website to see what I could find out. The website was extremely helpful; it explained the different services and what each consisted of. FINALLY!! I made an appointment for a mani/pedi. When I got there, everyone was super friendly, even the other patrons. Kristina did my manicure. I explained as best I could what I was interested in trying. She explained what it was and answered my questions. That done, I showed her a picture of what I wanted to try: a French manicure with each finger a different neon. She was all for it, and we picked out the colors. She asked to see the pic again, and I showed her. I didn't even notice at the time, but later I realized she looked at the photo for like 30 seconds and copied it EXACTLY. The order of the colors on my hand is the same as the photo! I just thought she did it randomly and it totally didn't matter to me either way. What attention to detail!! I love the way they turned out!! Fast forward - I was unable to get back to the salon for a whopping FIVE weeks. And while the mani wasn't looking 100% at that point, it had only completely chipped off of one nail. This was 100% my fault for waiting so long, but I was impressed with how good they still looked, all things considered. I've been back twice since my first visit, and I'm sold. The ladies here are lovely, easy to chat with, and the manicure does not disappoint. Highly recommend this gem tucked away in Cranberry!!

I have used them several times for services such as mani/pedis, spray tans, blowouts and most importantly, my wedding!!! Carly has been and will be the only person to ever do my makeup! I have been going to Fluhme Glam Bar since they opened. I took my two daughters to have hair and makeup done for Homecoming and they looked stunning! Dom and Brittany are so talented, kind and sweet to the young girls. They did exactly what my daughters wanted. They couldn't have been happier. I go to Dom for eyelash extensions. I look forward to going every two weeks. Not only do my eyelashes look amazing (life changing in fact), but the time I spend with Dom is absolutely priceless! I've been going to Brittany at Fluhme continuously for over 6 months and she is the absolute best for eyelash extensions. They always look amazing and full and last around 3 weeks! I always get compliments on how nice my eyelashes look thanks to Brittany! Not to mention, Brittany is so sweet, has flexible scheduling and is always great to chat with while getting the extensions done. The salon itself is beautiful and very clean. I have never been a girly girl but now I cant wait to have more treatments here. Mani/ Pedis, make up & lash extentions have been my treats so far. The Glam Bars (Warrendale & Mt Lebanon) are beautiful. Everyone I have met has been extremely pleasant & helpful. BTW everyone looooves my mink lashes. Rebecca & Dom did a great job. This is by far the best glam bar in Pittsburgh! Arynne and Carly are the amazing hair and makeup artists that made my wedding day absolutely magical. They came to our hotel and did everything on site. My experience both at the salon prior to the wedding for my trials and the day of was seamless, worry free, and top quality. I've only been getting manicures and pedicures at the Glam Bar so I can only comment on those services. Angela is fantastic! She does a really nice job and she's super friendly.
