I ordered the 3 piece catfish with fries and okra... and let me tell you!! I love how uniquely flavored everything is and how it's consistent each time. You definitely won't find anything that taste like this anywhere. The catfish pieces were big & fluffy, and what I love about it is that it's real catfish, and you can taste the cleanliness of it. I'm a big fan of their okra also. I love how it's golden & crisp, and that they actually season it, they do their fries the same way too. This is a nice local chicken place that appears to have taken the spotlight of the other chicken places nearby. Serving chicken and catfish will do it as a one stop shop to get your grub on. I got both to rule out everything since I'm not on this side of town a lot . Service was friendly and courteous. Food was made to order and didn't take long at all. There's no dine in seating but there is places to take a seat . So overall , Good not the best but better than most. It seemed like the same seasoning ( seasoning salt from the taste) was sprinkled on everything. The chicken was juicy just a little greasier than what I like but still good. They include bread, pickles and jalapeños In each basket and a side of their sauce. So the word on the street is that this place used to be affiliated with Henderson's chicken so I had to go in and see what was what. I can tell you that it is way better than Henderson ever was on their best day. The plate that you get is basically the same set up, two piece chicken, french fries on top of two pieces of bread with some pickles and peppers but fluffy's blows Hendersons out of the water. I've also had their catfish, which is fantastic and the seasoning is perfect and it's all perfectly crispy. So glad I went in. In fact I was like 5 minutes past their 8 minute promise time and I got a courtesy call to come pick up my order. So I decided to try them again today Friday a few days later. I asked if the matter could be resolved by either refunding thw amount of the missing piece or if I could get the missing piece on my next order. I was told no refunds. Drove in today 11-21-20 from Shreveport about 1pm after following this place on IG and FB for a few weeks now. We parked in front and went in and was greeted by the crew and that doesn't happen too often at restaurants. My wife ordered the 2 pc fillet and and I had the fish and 4 pc shrimp combo and 3 hush puppies. We went back to the car and waited on the text to let us know the food was ready. We then pulled around the corner to a back lot apt complex or something and dove in. The fish and shrimp was seasoned to perfection and the hush puppies were too as well. The fries were hot and seasoned well also. It came with some real good homemade tarter sauce, ketchup, pickles, and bread. Listen, I get it, employees wants to be off when you close but don't close before the allotted time. I get there and the employees looked pissed because I walked in 45 mins before closing. They had a price increase and were waiting on their new menu to arrive. I messaged the owner regarding the price and she stated that their prices are on FB. I happen to click on "Smash The Topic Live" and saw that they were advertising Fluffy chicken " me a chicken lover" I told myself I'm gonna try it. First I dnt live in Cedar Hill. So I call fluffy chicken to place a pick up order because a friend of mine had to go that way, just to find out that you have to order online (no problem) so I order a 4 piece chicken wing with extra seasoning and a kool-aid for 2.95, paid through cash app. Send my friend the receipt so she could pick up the food. I get a call from her saying the dnt have the kool-aid, I'm like ok just refund my money, my friend then said one of the workers Said " can you come get it tomorrow" I'm like no just refund me my money. My friend said that he said they dnt do refunds. I'm like let me talk to him. He gets on the phone and I told him that maybe they should block out items that's not available online so the customer won't get charged. Then I go to ask him if I can have an extra piece of chicken for him to tell me he couldn't do it. So basically they just took my 3 bucks and told me to come back the next day.
