Came in here last minute to buy a bouquet as a gift when my usual spot was closed due to it being Sunday. What a gem! They had a beautiful assortment of pre-made bouquets at really great prices, and the young woman working the counter was friendly and helpful. Great experience from start to finish, and I look forward to buying there in the future. read more

I DO NOT recommend this flower shop! Not friendly and rude! I ordered my wife an arrangement of a dozen long stem roses for valentines day. I expected quality roses after paying $97.08, BUT instead she got roses with brown spots and petals falling off. I was very embarrassed and disappointed. read more

Flowers By Hp Papadopoulos - One dozen long stem roses - Florists Near Me - Modesto, California

An amazingly inexpensive floral shop with great selection and the ability to construct custom arrangements. Roses $6.99, long-stem fancy roses ~$25, potted plants in baskets, greeting or occasion cards, helium baloons and statuary. Corner of Briggsmore and Coffee, caddy corner from Memorial Medical Center and behind the Valero Gas station. A place where one truly gets more for less. read more

Not open to the time they say they're open to. I was standing at the door looking at my map, says they're open at that time and there was at least one person in there but they wouldn't let me in. I was able to get flowers from another spot but it was a waste of a drive. read more

Everytime I have received flowers or seen flowers from this place, I have been very happy. When my husband brings me flowers from here they are always rich and fresh. I picked up an order the other day for a friend, and I was very impressed. I gave the decorator an idea of what I was looking for, over the phone, and 15 minutes later they were ready and gorgeous! The flowers were very colorful and looked great. In addition, the staff is very friendly and helpful. I will always get my flowers here. The shop is open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday and from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. They also deliver for about $7.50. read more

I was helped by Viviana (that's what my receipt says) and she was very kind and patient. She helped me with a same day delivery for two bouquets. There was no delivery charge and the flowers arrived quickly. I'm not sure what the flowers looked like exactly, as I had them delivered to someone else, but I am thankful for the quick and helpful service at a reasonable price. read more

Great COVID precautions. Amazing value and wonderful service. The selection was great and prices weren't outrageous. With grocery stores carrying so many flowers one might wonder why you don't just buy there... HP shows you the reason why. Great artistic flower selection and colors. read more

Deserves ZERO stars!!!! This flower shop let our family down. They promised to deliver our flowers to our home for our aunts funeral between a set of certain hours. They did not make it on time! We did NOT have flowers for her funeral services because of their failure to keep their promise about the delivery time. I would give no stars if I could! read more

I called this morning and placed an order for my sister for her Birthday. I gave an amount and asked for them to do an arrangement. They had it done and delivered in a few hours. First of all, I never write bad reviews. But I've bought flowers from this place for years and the young lady who answered the phone cut me off as I was asking her about picking up flowers. She assumed I was asking about delivery. Then as I was trying to explain it was for pick up, she said it was too late and hung up. Honestly, I am so chill about these sort of things, but this she was way too rude. Ownership needs to take notice. 2/11/19 3:15PM. read more

Karen is absolutely amazing! I live in Southern California and had flowers sent to my mother in law for her bday in Modesto. I don't know a thing about flowers so Karen and I scrolled through the Yelp pictures and I told her. "I like those yellow thingys and the bright green pokey things". She helped me through it all!!! She's currently getting the arrangement done and will have it to my mother in law within an hour to 2. The pricing is the lowest pricing that I've found. $40 min with $7 delivery fee. If I lived in Modesto I would be there all the time just to say hi to Karen!! I highly recommend this business! read more

$60 minimum purchase and a $7 delivery fee to deliver to Downtown Modesto on a Holiday where I'm certain other deliveries are being made in the same vicinity??? Ridiculous!! I don't mind the delivery fee, but a $60 minimum to cover "driver insurance" the Manager says?? They lost my business and I'll definitely spread the word of hidden prices and guidelines that make no sense.... read more

I live in LB and my best friend had a baby boy and I was so excited ! I wanted to send her flowers since I couldn't make it to see her. I called and Fay assisted me, took her time and went over ideas with me! She was very patient and answered all my questions and added suggestions ! I called a few shops and they rushed me off the phone and I didn't feel comfortable ordering with them and trusting them since I can't see the end result. I am very happy with the service and can't wait to see the flower arrangement ! read more

Was on my way to memorial hospital to visit a friend who just had a baby. I had recalled there was a flower shop across the street. Hoping it was open it was about 5ish. To my luck it was. I love the fact they had flowers ranging from $14.99 up to $72 in their large walk in refrigerator. There is a lot to choose from. Anyhow happy this place was open and good prices. read more

My fiance had specifically ordered a dozen roses to be delivered at 1pm, in the middle of my bridal shower. They were a half an hour late arriving, after a couple of phone calls from my mother to the shop. The employee was less than helpful with a horrendous attitude (stating "oh well" a couple of times). Even worse, two days later, my roses look horrible. read more

I ordered a flower arrangement for my son and his wife on congratulations on their newborn son and they made a beautiful original arrangement and it was promptly delivered to the hospital. I live in Socal and they live up in NoCal and I did the entire order online and I got a phone call from them explaining that they had taken the flowers to the volunteer desk so they can be delivered to the room. I saw the arrangement they made my son sent me a picture and it was beautifully done and they made the process so easy and ordering from part of the state to the other. Their prices are very reasonable. The reason I pick them is that I have done business in another town that they have a floral store and I have not been disappointed with them and I have to say I was very happy with the results Thank you so much for doing such a great job. read more

I'm always skeptical when I order flower arrangements online. I chose this place although it didn't have perfect 5 stars I gave it the benefit of the doubt. I had called in initially, but then was directed to place it online. It was super easy, picked the arrangement and paid and requested it to be delivered the next day by noon. After placing the order online, I was immediately contacted and was told they didn't have any yellow lilies left and asked if a white one would suffice. I appreciated this very much because from past experience, floral shops would skimp out on replacing or putting in fillers. The next day, I got a text from my sister and her husband. It was a picture of the arrangement and I couldn't believe for the first time an arrangement exceeded the picture online! I was thrilled they were touched, but also that the floral arrangement looked exactly like the photo online, full and bright. I would purchase from them again. They called to make sure, they set expectations that they'll make it look like the photo online, and made sure to communicate what wasn't available. Thank you! read more

My wife was having a rough day so I decided to send some pick me up flowers. I called shortly before noon and asked if the flowers could be delivered before 2:30pm. I was told that was not a problem, and I placed the order. Not only were the flowers delivered before 2:00pm, I received a courtesy phone call from the driver letting me know the flowers had just been delivered. I thought it was a great customer service touch. The flowers looked great and most importantly, my wife was pleased. read more

Order flowers for my dad. They charged me a delivery fee of $7, even though the hospital is right by it. I was frantically searching for a flower place at 6:00 pm on a week night, and needed the delivery to be made before 10:00 am the next day. This is a follow up from a previous post I had written about this business. My first experience was not so great because of a small/big issue with the flowers. They arrived at a good time, the exact ones as I ordered, and with the exact msg. However (reason I gave them only 1-2 stars)was because the flowers only lasted like 2 days. My Gf was happy I had gotten her flowers but disappointed that they were "cheap". Long story short the people at flowers by HP Papadopoulos contacted me to explain the big mistake that occurred and we worked together to make it right. I felt like an a hole coming on Yelp before contacting the shop and expressing my issue. I felt like this business immediately went out of their way to make things better not only to clear their name but because they truly cared about a bad experience and felt bad. I would have no problem giving them another shot next time I need to get flowers. read more
