I wanted to support a local florist. The person I sent flowers to said they were lovely, unfortunately I didn't get to see them other than the example photo. Would be nice if when you order for delivery they could send a photo to you of what they look like. But, like I said, my friend said they were nice. read more

Amazing customer service and gorgeous arrangement. She is my go-to florist in Central Valley area. I was looking for a unique, Ikebana inspired arrangement for my cousin and she delivered it without hesitation. I spoke to her in the morning and it was delivered by the late afternoon. I cannot tell you how grateful I am to speak to a real person who is doing the work to get exactly what you want. We had a family member who passed and unfortunaley we were not able to make to the services In California, however Flowers By Alis made it quick and simple. The arrangement we chose was exactly what was shown online when we ordered it. In addition to the beautiful arrangement, Alis also called the venue to ensure that the time we submitted on the order form was correct. When I called alis to confirm they received our order she reassured me that they always work with that venue and they've already contacted them to confirm the time. I was blown away by the extra step they took to ensure us the best service and the beautiful arrangement for our loved one. Phoning at 1:00 PM I was requesting flowers be delivered that afternoon, and they had to make them up to my specifications as opposed to selecting from a choice of pictures/photos. A few hours later I received a call from the delivery person confirming delivery. I have since seen an image of the arrangement. Just stunning...perfect for the conveyance of my sympathies. To me, this is so much like "old fashioned service." In today's world that is both appreciated and incredible. Unlike some 800-tele-florists, I feel I derived exceptional value exceeding my expectations. read more

I needed to send flowers to some of my family in Modesto (I live in Oregon). I looked around for florists in Modesto, and Flowers By Alis and another florist came up as being near the same zip code. I first checked out the other florist, but their website was whack, and didn't give me a warm feeling like I'd actually be getting what I had ordered. I next checked out Flowers By Alis, and their website was much easier to navigate and negotiate. Their prices were reasonable as well, and their shop is in the same exact zip code as my family's, so I decided to use Flowers By Alis. I placed the order on a Sunday afternoon with a request to deliver the bouquet on Monday. The next morning (Monday), I got a call from the shop to tell me that some of the species depicted in their online photo were not available, but that they had other flowers that would be appropriate. I agreed to the change, and asked her just to do her best. The flowers were delivered to my niece that same day, and the bouquet was gorgeous. I am glad that I decided to use Flowers By Alis. read more

My all time favorite and only floral shop that use for all occasions! I have always been very pleased with every order that I place and the the recipient of these wonderful arraignments is just ecstatic with their gift. Every arraignment has been different and I alway start my order with a vision that I try my best to explain to Alis and she always goes above and beyond and delivers the most beautiful arraignments! She and her staff have a special gift of listening to what you have envisioned and the they work their magic and it is just pure delight! I recently called Alis with an order for a funeral that I would be unable to attend as I was going out of state and the funeral was to be held the following week. I asked her to make an arraignment that I had seen online, it was a very nice and colorful large arraignment. She asked me to send her a picture of the arraignment so that she could see the flowers that were used and as she thought some of them were out of season. She suggested others in similar shades but with more color. I heave never been disappointed in her suggestions or her wonderful work and told her to do what she felt would be make it look wonderful and boy did she! I was so pleased to receive a very kind and heartfelt message from Alis on the day of the funeral along with a few pictures attached showing the most beautiful arraignment thus far from her. Not only did she make it as I had described but she added so much more to the arraignment to make it just stunning! You can never go wrong with using Flowers by Alis, with ever order wether it be small or large you will be amazed with her talent and customer service. I will forever be great full for all of her service and will be a lifetime customer of Flowers by Alis! read more
