I received fresh flowers for Mothers Day (2022) . The flowers looked a bit bedraggled. The next morning the flowers were drooping...very sad. I loaded them into my car and drove to Flowerama on Memphis Ave. The staff was receptive and replaced my flowers and offered additional flowers, plants and chocolates additionally. My fiancé and I were regular customers of this location about 1-2 times a month until today . My fiancé picked up an arrangement for Valentine's Day and it was put together rather sloppy with some partially wilted / dying flowers . He asked for something else or to at least spruce up the arrangement somehow . He was told no requests or adds today yet he saw others getting them from other employees . When he arrived home with the arrangement I was grateful but disappointed in what they gave him for 150 dollars . I called to inquire but was treated very rudely . I was told to bring them back which I did . Upon arrival we were treated very poorly by the same person who said to come in ! We were asked why we came back , why we bought them anyway and that no refund would be issued . She proceeded to hold up the line by arguing loudly and making rude remarks to us very unprofessionally ....Who marks up flowers 200 percent or more just to take advantage of holidays , offers sloppy wilted arrangements then argues with patrons who frequent your business on regular slow days not just your big money day ?? What was the point of asking us to come back up to return the arrangement?? We won't be coming back and when you treat good customers this way when it's busy businesses don't care but when it's slow businesses then feel the burn of losing good customers and making less sales ... we're just 2 customers but I'm sure judging from our experience we aren't the first and won't be the last . read more

Piss poor excuse for an establishment. I call on Wednesday and was told it would be no problem for me to secure two boxes of rose petals for my proposal on Friday as long as I give them one day notice. I called Thursday afternoon and was told that nothing will be held for me and their excuse was that the girls working yesterday were new. I manage a multi million dollar local furniture business and could not be more dissatisfied with this sorry excuse for a local business. Please take your business elsewhere read more

I needed to send flowers from Arkansas to Ohio to my aunt who was in accident. I checked the big dot.com sites. They had the same prices and it would take 5 DAYS to deliver. I used her zip code to search for local businesses on Yelp. I checked out a few online and settled on this one. I found exactly what I was looking for and ordered easily online. It showed the earliest delivery date I could select was tomorrow, so I went with it. An hour and a half later my aunt called me crying, telling me how much she LOVED the flowers! MY flowers?? It couldn't be... I just ordered them!! Sure enough, the flowers had been delivered to her doorstep with the message I wrote for her. This place saved my life! Well, not actually my life, but maybe my job! My boss was in town for a family funeral, and I confused the day she wanted flowers to be delivered to the funeral home. Eeek! I needed flowers delivered NOW, or at least within an hour or two. Not an easy task. After calling a few places (one of which refused to deliver because if they ran late it would make them look bad!) I called this place, one of the few open on Sunday. The woman who answered the phone (Kathy?) was incredibly sweet and understanding and went out of her way to help me. They don't deliver on Sundays, but after explaining my situation, one of her girls offered to drop an arrangement on her way home! It was there in 20 minutes. Whew! I obviously couldn't see it over the phone, but I was sent a picture and it was gorgeous! And not very expensive, even for a last minute rush. I am so incredibly grateful and I highly recommend them. What incredible service! Those girls deserve a raise. read more

Called Sat 1 pm for a floral delivery to a local funeral home the following afternoon but was told they couldn't do that ('truck already out'). This was for my Mother's service so it was important that we have flowers at the memorial. They asked if I could pick up and deliver the flowers to the the funeral home myself, as if I didn't have anything else to do. I was also visiting from out of town and didn't have time to search for various florists that could assist us. Durken's Florist (Ridge Road) was very helpful and willing to accommodate our request for an order on short notice. They were also quite pleasant. read more

The girls working were very rude and rough with the flowers. It is very overpriced and after realizing an item I had purchased minutes before was too expensive for my budget, they refused to accept a return or offer a refund. read more

I had to go order our 'lil a corsage for the father/daughter dance. This business is where I have shopped for things flower-related for 20 years. We walk in, and get in line at the counter. One girl is helping a customer, one is making floral arrangements, two are talking to the one making the floral arrangements. The girl who was waiting on the customer before me gets finished, and asks what she can help me with, I responded that I need to ORDER a corsage, for Saturday. She directs me to a display of artificial "keepsake" ones, and says "look at those." Well, I already had, while standing around being waited on, and, like I said previously, I wanted to order one. So I asked "don't you make corsages here anymore?" She said "yes." So I told her that I wanted to order one. We get through that process, I hand her my debit card. She says since it's not signed I need ID, so I asked why, because I need to put my pin # in anyways. (I have been extremely ill, and was not feeling well just standing there, I wasn't relishing a trip out to my car.) She stated it was company policy, and I was about to comply by going out to get my license when she said something about my name. She repeated it, but I missed what she was saying because one of the talkers was butting in, talking about how they were trying to protect me from ID theft. She continued to run her mouth and interrupt while I was trying to concentrate on what the person who was actually waiting on me was saying. Turns out, she just wanted me to spell my last name to match it with the card, so I didn't have to go outside to get my license. After I paid, I asked for a card with the managers name and contact info, I received the card, and I asked for the girls name who kept butting in, and she responded "Kara-and I'm the managers daughter." I'm like okay? So today I had to pick up this corsage, I held off on contacting the manager, figuring she would be at the store on a busy day like a Saturday, and she was. I began to explain the situation and mentioned how her daughter , Kara, acted. She told me that she doesn't have any children that work for her. I pointed at Kara and asked why she said that she was the managers daughter then, and Kim, the manager, said "Oh-yes, that's my daughter, I thought you said "Tara." Now wait-this same manager just told me she had no kids who worked for her, as in, at all, but now all of a sudden she does. Which is it please? Anyways, as I attempted to speak with Kim, Kara kept interrupting me and cutting me off while standing on the sidelines, just like she did two days ago, so at least she is consistent. The manager says she heard I didn't want to show my ID and I was mad because I had to. Well no, I never refused to show an ID, I asked why it was required, since I had to put in my pin #, and of course, it wasn't required, because a simple spelling of my last name was all that I did, then they swiped my card and I had to enter my pin number. smh. So the manager says well she is sorry but that isn't how she heard the story. I'm actually surprised she was able to get any part of the story, with her daughter constantly interrupting. Even when her own daughter kept interrupting her, she didn't do anything. So yeah, the manager doesn't care about 20 year customers, if you want a corsage they apparently only want you to buy artificial $40 ones, because that's all I was offered originally, and the daughter thinks she is a floral princess who is the boss of everyone. I'm 53, too old for that. We wont be back. I'd love to hear if anyone else has had a problem with Kara, or if they had a problem trying to actually order what they wanted, while being pushed towards something pre-made and overly expensive. To top it all off, the rose in the corsage I ordered is pre-wilted. It looks terrible. I have bought many, many corsages from them in the last 20 years, this one is by far is not even close to the quality I am used to from this establishment. read more

I went shopping for 2 dozen roses and the ones on display didn't look that great. The manager offer to get me some from the back I look at the color and said ok. They charge me for the higher price for the ones out the back. When I called to complain the lady who answered the phone got smart. There are many florist out there keep riding past this one. DON'T waste your time or money! read more
