After a few bad haircuts growing up, I was TERRIFIED of going to a salon. I started seeing Natalie for small things like a trim, blow out, etc. She has made every experience insanely comfortable. Not to mention I leave with flawless hair time and time again! Natalie is super understanding, I'm convinced she can read my mind. Forever the only hair stylist I'll trust! read more

This is by far the best hair cut and color I've ever received. Jordan is amazing at what she does and her passion for beauty shines through in her work. She listens to what you want and suggests thing that you may not have though of that obviously end up tuning out great! Call Jordan, you won't be disappointed. read more

It is said on their website they cut kids hair so I made an app for my son with Jordan, his dad took him, when they came back I was horrified ! I just wanted to cry! He had beautiful hair long enough to make a stylish cute little haircut, instead he got back home with an uneven and and far from good looking haircut. So disappointed. I will never return. read more

Commenting on service, experience and price only. Color and cut total $250, including the extortion tip of 15% (you have an option to pay what you want but the hurried stare from the "artist" intimidated me). I felt rushed, ignored, I had to keep asking questions what she was doing. She seemed so bored - she could have just been tired from standing on 4-inch heels for the 3 hours I was there. Nice color but the cut never looked the same after I washed it. I had to go get it redone by someone who was interested in how I care for my hair. 250? Yikes, not again. read more

After trying out a couple of different salons through your my time..I have to say, I found my home salon!! The staff is extremely attentive to not only your needs but your stylists needs as well, which I've noticed helps the stylist truly focus on your hair. My go to stylist has been Natalie, she knows how to listen to your ideas and literally make you walk out the salon feeling like a million bucks! Natalie has brought my damage fragile hair to life! I love her techniques and the fact that my hair never feels like it's been dyed before. She's amazing with blondes and warm colors!!! Truly love her work and hair advice! read more

I want to start off by just saying WOW! The salon is charming and the customer service is out of this world. I'm not big on salon visits due to the horrible experiences I've had in the past, but I've got to say I'm so glad I booked an appointment here. The staff is so friendly! The stylists are so welcoming and sweet! I had a trim and layers add to my moppy hair! I felt so brand new. I highly recommend asking for the Oribe hair masque if you have textured hair! (LIKE MINE hehe) it felt silky smooth! And added some much needed shine to it. All in all an AMAZING EXPERIENCE. I found my salon thanks so much Flowe Studio! You will DEFINITELY be seeing me again soon! read more

I came here a couple of months ago and I was clear about what I wanted but got the complete opposite. They tried to fix it but it was still not what I wanted and what I paid for. I was expecting more after seeing great posts on instagram but my hair ended up getting damaged without the result I was looking for. read more

Adorable, 2 minutes from my house, free wine. I thought I had found my new salon. The in-salon experience was nice, my hair looked great when I left without much examination (amazing what a good blowout will do) and I was elated. Once I was looking at my hair at home, I realized entire chunks of it were a solid TWO/THREE inches longer than the base layer. They hadn't even been cut! On top of that, the layers were extremely poorly blended and just look like square-edged chunks that I cut myself. I will say, I hate confrontation so I did not want to go in and ask them to resolve it (or worse, touch my hair again), so I have no idea if they would have handled if I did do that. I just recommend if you have a lot of hair and a challenging texture, avoid avoid avoid. I've heard they do a great job with color -- so if that's your main need, maybe it's a great fit. If you're just looking for a haircut, look elsewhere. read more

Loved Natalie!! I have so much anxiety about getting my hair colored and cut. She was the first hair dresser that actually listened and then asked questions to make sure she knew exactly what I wanted. Then I find out she's a curl expert so I really knew I was in good hands. My hair turned out exactly the way I wanted. She's the best! Please never move Natalie! read more

Natalie is the BEST stylist I have ever had! She has been doing my hair for over 2 years now and I recommend her to everyone I know. I will never let another stylist touch my hair. She is MY go-to girl!!! Never disappoints and is always so attentive and talks you through every single step in the process of your hair dye/cut, etc. It's just a plus that Flowe studio is such an aesthetically pleasing salon! So open, lots of natural light, always smells amazing in there and always caters to their clients!! You can't go wrong with Flower Studio and especially NATALIE!!!! read more

The most welcoming and chic studio I've ever visited. I got my hair done with Natalie and since my first visit she made me feel so cared for. She transformed my hair to exactly what I wanted I will never go anywhere else! read more

If you can't honor a clients appt time esp when it was made almost 2 weeks prior, you should not have a cancellation policy charging clients for canceling or rescheduling. I was first told a stylist was sick then told stylist was running behind with the previous client. Regardless of which one is true, if the stylist was sick- I should have been notified before just 15 minutes prior to my appt time near the end of the day. read more

I originally found this salon by being a big fan of its owner & stylist, Jordan! I always receive the best treatment and the women hold it down every time I am there. I love my hair! I am so glad I trusted this salon with my first-time balayage. La'Rae is a dream! read more

First time at the studio, went in for a haircut. My stylist was Jeniffer, everyone at the salon was very kind. Jen was attentive and super welcoming. She paid attention to everything I was saying she also made sure to make me aware of what she was doing, when she was doing it. I loved this as I can be very anxious. I love my haircut, it is exactly what I asked for. I will definitely be coming back to Jen when it is time for another haircut. Highly recommend Jen as a stylist, and this salon in general. I had a phenomenal experience. read more

Very cool salon with a fun atmosphere. I've taken both of my daughters to Selena for cuts and she's great! Easy to book online and wonderful service in the salon. She listened to what I wanted and always gets it right! One of my girls needs a straight cut (can be tricky) and Selena nailed it! Just a note- they have a new studio in the stomping grounds on 34th. We'll certainly be back! read more

I had not cut my hair in almost 2 years b/c of a bad experience somewhere else. My cousin recommended this place and let me just say NO REGRETS!!! I WILL definitely continue going here! I went in and I love that Jordan knows what is best for my hair! She told me the balayage color to go with and type of hair cut! I left with the best experience ever! I had over 6-8 inches cut off into a gorgeous bob with a color that is freaking gorgeous! BEST PLACE EVER! read more

I got a nice hair cut from Erica. I loved it! She did a great job on my hair, that I'm even putting it up as my Pic. She booked me for a $250 balayage which I called to reschedule. When I called to reschedule, the girl on the other end put me on hold and then hung up on me. When I called back, she told me that her stylist could not make that appointment up and that they were just going to cancel me. They were very rude, and don't know how to handle themselves professionally. It was also evident that they didn't want my business because I didn't even get the chance to find a date to reschedule for even if i was late to call by a 10min time gap. They did not charge me this time but next time the will. I spent 30 seconds on that call. The stylist contacted me and sounded more flexible. read more

The environment of the salon is great! My hair is exactly how i wanted it. Erica did amazing! Definitely coming here for now on.

I went to flowe Studio a week ago yesterday. I drove 45 minutes for my appointment. I will try to keep this straight to the point. I went to see stylist Jordan (owner) Who came highly recommended by a friend. The salon is small but beautiful! I was greeted with friendly smile's. I went in for a balayage that resulted my hair to be over processed as well as green in color. I email Jordan pictures of my hair in Indoor and outdoor light etc. After much thought and noticing how damage my hair was in my email I requested a refund. I was offered to have my hair fixed by the stylist however I was not willing to do so after she called, because the situation was poorly handled...Needless to say she asked if I had wash my hair or done something to it? she even hang up on me... I was refunded half of my service. I hope this experience helps this business owner and hair care professional to have a proper client etiquette. read more

First timer @ FLOWE Studio today with Brittany as my stylist. Awesome job! This is the first time I didn't re-style my hair afterwards. She asked me lots of questions to confirm length, etc. and explained the reason behind her steps. While I loved my previous stylist, I'm such a happy camper for selecting FLOWE and Brittany! read more

I just moved to Oak Forest and I wanted to find a salon that was convenient, well priced, and where I could get a great haircut. I am very happy that Flowe Studio checks all of those boxes! I had a cut with Jordan and she was on time, listened to what I asked for, and gave suggestions. She gave me a great cut that I have been getting a lot of compliments on. I will definitely be going back! read more

It's been a few weeks since my cut and highlight and it's taken me this long to calm down enough to write this. I went to Brittany and my hair is FRIED. I'm naturally a blonde and like to go pretty light. I've gone to plenty of stylist that can get me there without destroying my hair. The reason I went to Flowe was because its in my 'hood and I was hoping to find a place closer. That turned out to be a big mistake. I specifically pointed out and told her to be careful with the fine baby hairs around my face and she said she would stay away from bleaching those. Instead, they all get singed off about an inch from my scalp, so when I pull my hair back for a pony tail, I look like a frizzed out whack. It will literally take years to grow these back out. The color hasn't held well and has already turned pretty yellow. The studio is cute but they don't keep it very clean... there were hairballs and dust everywhere. For around $250, I really expected better. read more

I had my hair cut with La'Rae today and the whole experience was awesome! The vibe in the salon is 10 out of 10. La'Rae was very nice and professional. Her next client even came in before we were done and I did not feel as if she was rushing to finish or anything. She took her time and gave me the attention I needed! I would definitely recommend La'Rae and the salon to anyone looking! :) read more

This place is a GEM! I have gotten into this situation where i was going across town the to get the haircut i need and to another person to do my color and as a single momma working full time is IMPOSSIBLE to schedule everything! I just needed something new! I had heard great things about FLOWE from a few friends and when I saw an opening for a chance to cut and do balayage i jumped on it! Unfortunately my kid got sick the day of the appt but Brittany and the team were so SWEET and worked around my schedule to at least at my hair cut that day! Brittany listened to what I needed, really took her time and was so sweet about adjusting her schedule. Once we cut off a bit the owner Jordan chimed in that maybe we should cut a bit more off to freshen up my look. I love that 3 gals there work as a team and give each other and the client feedback. Brittany and I went for it and we loved the result!!!! I usually wait a few days to play with my hair to see how much i really like the cut ( I have VERY thick wavy hair that if cut wrong flips crazy or lays awful) and I gotta say one of the best haircuts I ever got! I can't wait to go back to see Brittany for my balayage and to get my "worn in" color look! Can't say enough about this hard working trio! They definitely have a new customer!!! Stay tuned for end results photo! read more
