I really did not want to give this salon a bad review. However, its been 3 weeks and I am still recovering from the mistakes they made. First let me say that everyone there is very nice and is doing their best. However, please know this is a training salon and they are learning as they go. I am in my 60's and would be solid grey if I did not color my hair. My forever hair stylist retired so I have been trying to find someone close that I could go to and this salon was in the perfect location. My hair is short with light brown roots and highlighted blond tips. Not that hard to do and I've worn it that way for over 20 years. I went in to get a touch up color and a trim. I ended up being there for almost 4 hours as they striped my hair of ALL its color and turned it a lavender purple. They left me at the shampoo bowl for an hour and a half as they tried several different colors trying to add the color back in. Several of the stylist came over and had several conversation standing behind me talking softly and I knew something must be wrong. They had not told me what they did to my hair but when they walked away I used my phones camera to view it...I was not angry, I did not say anything, I just wanted them to figure it out. After a while they said it looked great and took me back to the chair for my hair cut. Wow it was bleached blond with a pink glow on my scalp. They cut my hair charged me almost $250 dollars and sent me on my way. The next day I was back in the salon asking them to please fix it as in the sunlight it was showing pink. Another hour and a half working with the stylist and the owner they added some darker color but it was still awful. I was able to make a emergency rescue appointment the next morning with "Studio A Salon" on usner in the Heights. They fit me in with there top hair color specialist and like magic my hair was back to normal in just one hour. I have found my new salon and I am grateful that they knew what to do. This was my first time at Flowe studio. Cezanne website listed them as a certified provider for Cezanne hair treatments. Diana was wonderful. She took the time to discuss my hair, it's condition and my goals before starting the treatment. The whole experience was therapeutic and felt like a spa treatment. I have taken 2 weeks to write this review as I wanted to experience my hair after the straightening treatment and after washing and styling it myself. Over and over again I've seen this salon show up for the oak forest/garden oaks community in multiple capacities. I could write a long review about the terrible missteps this salon made but I'm just going to number them after I tell you that these stylists are young and lack experience. The errors that were made on my hair were done by people who need more school. I came from an excellent salon in AZ with formula in hand. My old salon had worked with me to get my hair almost one length and super healthy. Then I come to this place. Anyway, I called and they said they would match my color bc they didn't carry my color line (Schwarzkopf Royal). This did not happen even though I verified they could do it, they absolutely could not. Selena: 1. Colored my very red hair, brown at the roots 2. During this color she dropped a big blob of the same brown color from my roots on my red hair to the side of my head where I could not see it. I was not even told this happened. She literally let me walk around with a large brown spot on my head without telling me this even happened. It was embarrassing and the sign of an immature stylist. 3. Decided I could not work with this lack of professionalism. Asked for another stylist to fix Selena's awful color. They gave me... Jennifer: 1. She did the exact same thing Selena did and colored my roots brown again. Obviously I'm back to get it fixed and when it's the same I am unhappy. One of the girls comes over and says 'we'll bleach it' like that's a great idea, but I was desperate. They bleached my hair to get the brown out so they could color it red but left huge spots of bleach blonde. I look like a clown now. I'm busy and need to go out of town for 5 weeks. I get home and call to get an appointment to fix my hair. They give me... SELENA AGAIN 1. I feel blindsided and not sure what's happening, but as I'm sure you can tell they aren't entirely ethical. I ask what's happening. She says she's going to bleach my hair. I says no, that's not happening on my once healthy but now broken hair. 2. They put something on my hair called a gloss. It is not color and fixes nothing. It's literally another temporary fix. 3. As I'm getting a blowout I realize I can see gray all over my head. Selena said she didn't cover my gray, she 'feathered' the color over my gray. It's not supposed to cover it. At this point in the outrageous gaslighting I say I'm done. Don't sit me down in a chair to do hair that I have colored for 25 years (with a lot of gray) and say something that dumb to me. What does Selena think color does? I don't even want to know. I booked my appointment a week ago, 7/10/21 I went in for a balayage; when I got in I was greet by this nice guy, he told me what we were doing, told me to go the restroom, change my shirt and put on the Robe and come back to my seat, after that he asked me if I wanted something to drink and proceeded to get my drink My hair stylist is Lili, she asked me what I was looking for if I had any pics or idea of what I wanted, showed it to her and told me what would look good on me, and the reason why, everything went by pretty fast but she always took her time to make sure I was okay, and that my hair wasn't being damaged, I end up loving my result and the atmosphere in there it's really nice all the girls are super friendly and I love that some of them are bilingual so I can bring in my mom to get her hair done w Lili, I will definitely come back to dye my hair and also to get hair I wasn't sure if it looked good the first day since it was a big change but so far is been 3 months I love my new hair, coming back for a retouch read more

it's been three months since I got my hair done I've gone to two different hair stylists and paid 1500 dollars for three different appts and about 300 dollars in hair products. They have attempted lo lights twice and toner and nothing picks up on the horrible job lili did. I never heard back from them and I can honestly say it's been the worst experience of my life when it comes to customer service and service in general. Even the hair stylists say she did a horrible job. Please there are thousands of hair stylist in Houston. Take it from me and look else where. read more

Just went with my bestie, we both got platinum service done together. Wasn't planning on dying my hair today but the vibe the place was giving was very professionally, welcoming and relaxed and decided to dye my hair with her. My bestie had the stylist Bella, she did an amazing job on her 10/10. I got Jennifer as my stylist. At first she was very sweet and understood what I wanted to do with my hair, but when we got in the process of doing my hair she was little rough and I felt like she was rushing it. I have curly hair and I've always hesitated on ANYONE cutting my hair because I've had experiences where it doesn't turn out right. So I've been very careful in making sure that people that cut my hair have a Rezo certification. I came to this salon because Natalie has that experience.
