I had the most amazing time at PH Head Spa. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and relaxed. Hong is incredibly personable, professional, and passionate about her craft. She starts by analyzing your scalp and hair follicles and customizes her treatment to your scalp needs. She gives amazing recommendations on ways to improve the health of your scalp and hair. I am experiencing a lot of hair issues and will be periodically seeing her to track my progress and to get my scalp treated. Having experienced head spas in Korea, I can confidently say that my treatment here was even better. The attention to detail and level of care were exceptional. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to treat themselves to a luxurious head spa experience or to find the root cause of any scalp/hair issues anyone may be experiencing. You will 100% not regret it!!

I had the most relaxing and enjoyable experience at pH Head spa. I left feeling like so much stress and tension had left my body. My scalp looks and feels so clean, and my hair is healthier and softer after just one treatment. The owner Hong was so kind and knowledgeable about scalp health. She explained every step of the process and did an in-depth consultation before and after my treatment. The Spa was such a warm and inviting atmosphere, while also being extremely clean and professional. Hong recommended a few products and easy lifestyle changes to improve my scalp health based on my scalp analysis. My experience at pH head spa was two hours of bliss. Hong really knows what she is doing, and really exceeded my expectations. I love that the service is a scalp treatment and felt like a relaxing massage. I would 10/10 recommend booking a treatment.

There aren't many ITL Houston spas--that aren't ridiculously priced--with an outdoor pool, hot tub,…read moreand sauna. Blossom Massage has all those, and has been around for a decade-plus with a great reputation. Dunno WHAT took me so long to check them out, but I recently bought a couples massage (which included all-day pool access) as a Christmas gift for my beau. We planned on getting there an hour before our massage to enjoy the hot tub (they requested that we call ahead to let them know and get the heat going). Our massage started promptly on time, and we both opted for deep tissue. I had Deanne, who specializes in Swedish and deep tissue massage (according to her bio on the website)... and let me say she has some STRONG hands. She found all my tension and pain-points and loosened me up. I was honestly a bit sore for days, but in a good way. A great reminder I need to take care of my body post workouts and after long days at the desk... My biggest feedback for them would be to have more info on their website about the pool access and what's offered (towels, robes) and how long we have pool access (it's all day, btw). Before booking, I had to call to get that info; it's be more convenient to add all of that info to their FAQ page. They also allow you to bring snackies, so I brought a fruit, cheese, and tinned fish spread. Also, wondering if they had hot tea service. That's always a nice touch post-massage. Looking forward to booking again!

We had Anita and Mike and they were really good and very nice. They accommodated my partner since it was his first massage, however for me I was very familiar with deep tissue (lol!). I also added cupping as well. After our massage they gave us warm tea and paid via Zelle. They have a I believe a 3.25% charge with card. Will come back again! Their prices were very good. I haven't had much shoulder back pain since the massage and cupping and would like to try to come here maybe 1x/month.

Who gives massages on Sunday? The Petite Retreat, I was relieved to learn. I booked a 90-minute session for that afternoon. The sage-green Victorian where the business is located was simple to find. It's in a mixed residential and commercial neighborhood on the north side of Washington Avenue. Parking can be competitive there, but The Petite Retreat accommodates clients with private parking, both in its broad driveway and its side parking lot - a nice benefit when you're striving to be on time. The building has been added on to in interesting ways, so the reception area is a divided space. Original art, plus a baby grand with a chandelier over it, add to the atmosphere of relaxed luxe. I was assigned Cheryl as my masseuse. She guided me to a spacious treatment room in back, with massage table at center and a side table bearing an array of carrier oils, essential oils and other potions. Cheryl did an excellent job of giving a thorough massage, while paying special attention to the area where I was experiencing pain. I appreciated her responsive in using pressure that was firm but avoided adding to the pain. Cheryl sent me out the door with a large bottle of special water. I must admit I had trouble understanding the details of its special health-giving properties, but I trust Cheryl to do right by me.
