They came out, check everything, and found the leak. Simple, but annoying, crack that was forming in the skimmer. So they patched that up and even patched a few other areas just to be sure around it. The tech was great and walked me through the whole process and even gave some tips for future use. The pool has been great and has maintained it's level ever since. Would highly recommend and would use again in a sec....though I hope we don't have to ;) Description of work: We had leak in pool, but for life of us we couldn't figure out where. So we had our home warranty folks send a local pool company out to check. They were useless, but ironically they did leave the name of Florida Leak Locators. We call them and were impressed from start. So we had them scheduled to come out and to do a full leak inspection of pool. read more

We were referred to a couple of leak repair companies in the area --- in calling I found that some of the OTHER companies reviews didn't reflect the area or franchise that would be coming to my home. All reviews go to a main call center and you have NO idea if the review reflects who you are hiring. That is NOT True with Florida Leak Locator !! This is a locally family owned company and pride in ownership and reputation is evident. We couldn't have been happier ! The team was very professional, pleasant and efficient! We used Florida Leak Locators last year and I can honestly say they are very reliable and honest. We have a local pool service company who I called first because we felt our pool water had dropped considerably overnight. My pool guy gave me Florida Leak's phone number and I called them. When I called Florida Leak and they asked me a series of questions and asked me to fill the pool up and mark the level on the pool and call back the next day. I was very happy they were not pushy about sending someone out and spending my hard earned money until we determined we had a leak. I marked the pool and went out the next day and it was down a good 1/2 inch again. I called them back and the lady in the office had me check something on the motor. From what I was telling her was not adding up that it was a leak in the pool. Now neither me or my husband ever go over on the side of the house where the equipment is located. The equipment is not that new and I noticed a puddle of water about the gas heater. I called Florida Leak back and told her what I found. She asked me if she could call my pool service company and talk to the pool guy. My pool company called me and came out the next day and disconnected the old heater (we never used it, as it was gas) and the pool over the next few days didn't lose a drop. I honestly believe had I called another company they would have sent someone out and we would have paid for nothing. My pool cleaning company was also amazed how honest Florida Leak was and could have easily taken advantage of the situation.
