I am impressed with several things with Florida Home 360. #1 They are open every day. During the week, they are available to talk to 13 hours per day. Not sure about Saturday but Sunday you can call them 8 hours on that day. #2 Jaime is so professional. He is very ethical and takes his Project Manager position seriously. He made sure my Mom was happy with the job. He even fixed some minor things which I believe are outside his responsibility. He is one of the good guys in this industry. #3 The employees are all super punctual. This is the almost unreal part Imagine, a company calls when they say they will and they show up on time. From the sales pitch from Terri to Mirla setting up appointments to Jaime and the installers. Everything was done when promised. They value their customers' time. Now there are a couple minor things that went wrong. In fact, the installers informed Mom before she even knew there was an issue. They took responsibility and replaced what went wrong. The company is also reimbursing her for something else. Anyone can make a mistake but it takes a very ethical company to make things right for the customer. This is without even asking. I am very happy with my experience with Florida Solar & Air. The guys were professional and trustworthy. A couple things got broken but they were replaced and I am being reimbursed for a cracked window (an older one where they had replaced some window sills separate from the windows that were replaced. Anyway, they are a trustworthy company. I like how punctual they all are. They handled the permits and made my life easy. My new front door works great. They have a generous warranty. I will definitely use them when I need my roof replaced. I checked them out in the beginning and they have an A+ rating with the BBB which means a lot to me. I used Florida Home 360 to install triple-pane sliding glass doors in my living room and double in my bedroom. It all started out well. The project manager, Andre, came out to remeasure and to review with my husband and me. My husband walked to each set of doors with him to be sure he understood which way we wanted them to open. Andre even photographed it. The day of intallation the Andre was on site in the morning and said he would be back end of day. That did not happen. Toward the end of the day we checked and noticed that the bedroom doors opened the opposite way we asked for. They opened so the opening was in the corner of the room alongside furniture. It makes NO sense to have it that way. I had already purchased new blinds that opened the way the doors should have. It makes NO sense to have it that way. Too bad Andre was not there. In discussing this with the company, they couldn't have been nicer. They realized the issue and the problem. I asked to see the photo they took and it had been marked up to open the wrong way. We never saw the markings before when we signed off on the work. They offered a really good price to replace that set of doors and to pay to replace the blinds. Again, very nice of them. I had already spent a fortune on the job and couldn't afford to redo the wrong doors. It was MUCH stress. Now that the blinds are being redone, I still have another week to wait for them. Bottom line, the staff was kind, polite and accommodating. I still would not want to go thru that again. read more

I'm a former employee with this company in a sales capacity. My personal decision to leave the industry had nothing to do with the company. If you are looking for a contractor that has " all" the important factors in place including quality products, installations , customer service and warranty's, Florida Solar & Air should be your go to. I'm personally aware of most companies ( big and small) that fall short in one or all of the above. It serves me no benefit to write this review and my departure was both untimely and unexpected for them but if a family member or I needed services for windows , roofing, solar or HVAC in the future, I know exactly whom to call. The owners and management are truly passionate about " doing the right thing" and laser focused on customer satisfaction. It has been truly a pleasure working with the team at Florida Home 360. I had my roof completely replaced and solar panels re-installed. The process took less than two weeks which, in my opinion, was record time. Brian, the sales representative, initially visited with us and thoroughly explained the process from beginning to end, demonstrated the different types of roofing materials, showed us videos and presented us with a plethora of customer reviews and accreditations. Well aside from not removing the shutters that they said they would, they installed my front window with the screen on the outside. They also installed the wrong kitchen door which took forever to be replaced. They were very prompt with requesting final payment though, so they excelled at that. read more

Unfortunately I had the worst experience with this company. It all started with them not taking correct window measurements, and the product arrived with cosmetic defects. I had a big frame cut in one corner that was even forced, and the rest of my windows are filled in with massive caulking all around to hide the gap. The assembly of these windows have seperations with very cheap quality parts. I have water intrusion making my entire wall soft and it's causing heavy moisture with high cost repairs. My windows actually wobble it seems like they can fall off the frame not stable at all. I can honestly say there can't be a worse company in the world which is why they will pressure you to sign right away. You can definitely get better quality windows at a flea market vs this garbage company. read more

OMG! Where to begin??? I hired Florida Solar and Air to replace all my windows and sliding glass doors with impact. The sales woman was very pleasant and amiable until she got the check. 1) She and others got the measurements wrong. 2) It took over 2 years, threats of lawsuits, and the Coral Gables Building Inspector's Yelp to get them to "finish" the job. 3) they used the wrong screws on the sliding glass doors and I came home one night to find a door had come off the wall. Anyone could have walked right in. 4) Last month, a different door came off the wall, and just today I opened, for the first time ever, my bedroom doors and they came off the wall! Although the inspector told and showed them the 3 1/2" Tapcons they were to use, they used a 1 1/2" screw. I can go on and on about all the other things they did wrong. We had a great experience with FSA. They went above and beyond to make sure that the job was done correctly and that we were happy. We worked with many of their sales and office staff and they were all wonderful. We replaced a builder grade door with a beautiful estate door. They arrived promptly the morning of the installation and had the door in by the afternoon. They secured the area with construction curtains and left the area very tidy when they left. The permitting and inspection went smoothly and they were on time, despite having to wait for the city inspector for over a hour! We get so many compliments on the new door and we love that it is beautiful and adds light and curb appeal to our home. We would highly recommend them and plan to use them for other projects in the future! read more

Big prestigious company but very cold and pragmatic when it comes to individual needs of their clients. I did roof (Shingle) and contracted with them for a couple of doors that supposedly were not rated impact. The whole project was $40K, brake down price $4,500 each door after what they called a "generous discount " applied. My inspector made a mistake regarding one of the doors and rated it as none impacted. After a second inspection with another company we realized the door indeed is impact and there's no need to change it. I called Solar and Air exited about saving $4,500 and to my surprise they said that it was too late that I should read what I signed and they will not refund my money. The door is not custom made, it's a regular 80"X36". They alleged that they do not have the space where to storage the door until another client needs it. For me that is UNBELIEVABLE! I guess that the owner of the company is not aware of this. The representative gets commission based on the amount of the contracts. I argued that they are powerful and $4,500 doesn't mean a lot for them vs to me, a simple citizen trying to make it. The answer was," you do not know if I need that money to put food on my table for my kids". The representative who said that is Isabel. If they respond to this review they might say that the door in question is not well installed, which IT IS, but that is irrelevant because well installed or not, they are not refunding my money. I will let them proceed with the installation because I already pay and I guess I will give away the door I have. In conclusion, Solar and Air and/or its representatives do not care about their clients problems. I do not recommend this company. read more

They also offered many ways to pay and made it easy for us to choose our payment method. They took care of all the HOA approvals and submitting for permits with the county. Once the windows were ready to be installed, they called and gave me several dates to choose from. They explained to me in detail the process, they came at the time scheduled. The installers removed the old windows, recycled them, and installed the new windows in one day. I only had five window but they worked efficiently. The end product was better than I expected. They left everything clean and the caulking around the windows looks perfect. The permit inspection passed on the first visit. I will recommend FL Solar and Air. read more

I don't know what has happened to this business because I have heard negative statements made about their sales who for one seem to rush and give estimates over the phone without first visiting the property. I used them ten years ago and was very happy but noticed that even with some of their repair people like I was getting hustled. I was embarrassed for having recommend them, especially when one of the sales person suggested doing the work without a permit for a new AC!!! To add to this that same sales person even started talking about extra fees for duct work when he had not even been on the property. My hope is that the new manager reads this and addresses these issues. Update since review: I spoke to one of the managers Jackeline, who called and emailed me to inquire about my experience and review. I truly appreciate her advising that the folks who had been the issues were no longer with the company and sauteed me that any issues they will be addressing to prevent any negative reflection on their business. After spending months getting estimates from other companies and running into one shady hurdle after the next finally connected with Terry. Couldn't have been more empathetic and truly went above & beyond to put me at ease after those previous bad experiences. Had an instant good rapport (key for me). Everything she assured me of met or exceeded! My lead technician/contractor, Victor, cranked it out like a rock star! Punctual, highly competent, laser focused (didn't skip a beat) and prompt. Arrived around 9:30 am and completed everything by 3:30! Once they left, my place was close to spotless. Day/night extreme from how things looked prior to their arrival. Ridiculous, you ask for an estimate for a project and you will be asked so many questions thru text and not even knowing yet if they beat other companies with their quote. They self assure themselves that they will get the contract, for God's sake you're only getting an estimate so you can compare prices from multiple vendors to compare apples to apples. Questions are irrelevant and the reasoning behind is " the technician wants to know about where he is going to." Here's even more ridiculous, they want the members of the family to be present during the visit "so everyone is well informed" seriously?!! " Coz there's a lot of information we have to share". RUN FOR THE HILLS....salesman was good at his job, He assured us their employees worked solely for Florida Solar and Air, which was total nonsense. I talked to all of them. I am a gracious person to workers at my house, often providing lunch, and always coffee, water and soft drinks. First day all kinds of workers showed up, next day less, then suddenly ONE guy plus his wife. What I was told would be a 4 day job tuned into over 2 weeks, and then we ended up with inferior glass that looked like it was in a carnival house with distorted mirrors. We had wavy glass in our 5 largest windows. We held back $10,000 to insure the unacceptable glass would be replaced. It took weeks for them to come look, and we warned them at that time, we would be traveling for 6 weeks. Person after person called and I called back at least 10 times. The right hand and left hand never spoke to each other. My husband took day off to be there for inspection, nobody showed. They came the following day. He is head of a company, that doesn't take a day off to have a no show. When I returned from Europe, over a weekend, I returned another call with Jackie, she assured me she would let others know I called. I had every intention of releasing $ once work was completed properly. Monday, the manager, Angel arrives, and in a round about way tries to strongarm me into giving $ to avoid putting a lien against us. I had been told we had 2 more days before they were to file a lien. I said I had to talk to my husband who was now out of town again, and my lawyer. I wanted to protect ourselves . He made me cry. The next day I met with lawyer, we called company and offered to put money in escrow. They were not receptive. Meanwhile, they DID NOT admit they had already put a lien on our house. We are stand up people, we had perfect credit, we were just protecting our bad investment. What they did is shameful. We felt completely abused. They are shysters. The windows have not made our house quieter. CGI, the manufacturer, did come through and fix the bad windows, and were professional. Should have bipassed the middleman from the get go. Ridiculous thing is, after putting a lien against us, I was sent a link asking me to give them a 5 star review...unbelievable. I suggest looking elsewhere. read more

Well just as expected I already have a problem with this company. They scheduled to deliver the windows today being 11/27/19 Wednesday between the hours of 2pm - 4pm and do the install on Friday 11/29/19. I called earlier today to confirm the time. Being that tomorrow is Thanksgiving obviously I had plans for tonight and tomorrow so I waited all day for them to deliver the windows. No one showed. So being that no one called to tell me there were any delays I left my home to start celebrating the Holiday. I received a call at about 5pm from the delivery guy saying he was at my place for the delivery of the windows. So I told him that he should have called if he was running late so that I would have waited. He apologized and I told him to return in an hour so I can get back home again. 25 mins later I got a call from their main office and spoke to a female who stated they won't be able to go back to deliver the windows today and they will be back Friday morning to deliver the windows and do the install. I explained to her that they should call the customer next time if they are running late. When they don't call that only shows they do not value the customer's time and they don't care. The female sounded like she didn't care and ended the call quickly. So far very little lack of professionalism and lack of communication. Install Day Friday 11/29/19. The pictures are what their install guy called the completed job. He broke my original marble window sill and replaced it with one that didn't fit. Tried to spackle the holes and left gaps and other holes on my wall. I got a call from the Project Manager who told me the install guy told him he completed the job and I told him if he considered a horrible sloppy mess a completed job then I guess so. I called their main office and sent them the pictures as well. I was told by the manager they will fix the problem. One week later on Friday 12/6/19 they finally came to fix the mess they left behind and did a good job replacing the marble window sill and sealing the holes. They sent a new Project Manager who seemed to be communicating better than the previous one. Except after every conversation we had he kept asking me to change this review. After everything was done they scheduled a City inspector to come on Tuesday the following week 12/10/19. Now we are coming upon week 2 with these two windows. Remind you this job was suppose to take one day for one kitchen window and one bedroom window. The inspector shows up looks at the kitchen window which looks fine. Walks to the bedroom window and opens the window and says. "Where are the child proof guards?" Now I know nothing about windows but I do know living in buildings you have to have some kind of child proofing in windows when you live in a building. So the inspection failed. I called up the Company manager right away and told her what happened and was told she would get back to me. Meanwhile, the Holidays are fast approaching and I have plans for a long trip ahead of me. I was told this was supposed to be a one day job which is now going into 2 weeks. Finally Thursday 12/12/19 the Inspector approves the job and everything is finally done. If I have a suggestion this company needs to learn to communicate better with their customers and with each other. It seemed no one knew what the other person was doing which caused this whole mess to happen. So after miscommunications and unnecessary delays I have to admit the windows actually look very sturdy and of high quality. read more

I do not recommend this company for any AC installation nor sales. The company sold us an AC unit (Rheem 4 ton unit) that at power on and shut off makes a loud banging sound. Apparently this is a normal sound for the unit outside per Jacqueline (person we have been dealing with at this business). The unit inside before it starts makes a loud humming sound, which I also believe is not normal but was told by this company that this is normal. Prior to choosing this unit I was told by their sales rep that the unit was a very quiet unit and we were not going to have any issues with it. Since we have had the unit (1 year to be exact) the outside unit had to be moved from the area it was in because it was improperly installed. The fan on the unit had to be replaced, tubing on the unit had to be replaced and a few other items on the unit outside. I requested copies of the work that has been completed on this AC unit and I received an email today from Eric Cuevas which stated that they have sent technicians to my home and the ac has no damage and no abnormalities, but if no abnormalities were found why were parts changed? I contacted the office today at 15:50, and again at 16:20 trying to speak to Eric, Terri or Isa and have not received a response from anyone. read more

I recently had impact windows and doors installed throughout my home. My experience with Florida Solar and Air wasn't terrible - but it was also far from great. The sales rep for this company set a very high bar and high expectations. My expectations were not met. From frequent miscommunications among office staff to a rotating cast of on-site project managers and issues with their tradesmen, by the end of my project I found myself wishing I had hired a different company.
