I originally meant to write this review after Canopy Roofing installed my concrete tile roof about 2.5 years ago, but better late than never! I had an excellent experience with both Luis and the entire Canopy team. Luis took the time to meet with me in person and make sure I saw all of the tile colors and samples before making my decision. He was communicative and responsive throughout the entire process, the end result was perfect, and the price was very reasonable. Recently, I had a leak coming from an area under a flat roof that Canopy had not installed. I contacted the roofer who had done that portion of the roof to help diagnose and fix the issue, but unfortunately had a very frustrating experience (which I reviewed separately). I immediately called Luis to see if he could offer any advice or point me in the right direction. Luis answered the phone right away and, almost THREE years later, remembered me and addressed me by name. Even though this wasn't a part of the roof Canopy had installed--and they don't even do TPO flat roofs--Luis immediately offered to come to my house and help me figure out what was going on. He spent over an hour with me, listening carefully to what had happened, getting up on the roof to investigate, and helping me systematically test different areas with a hose to try to identify the source of the leak. After we thoroughly investigated the issue, he even offered to help me get a quote for the repair through a partner contractor who specializes in flat roofs. I am incredibly grateful not only for the quality of Canopy's work, but for the exceptional and genuinely personal customer service. The fact that Luis was willing to spend so much time helping me with an issue that wasn't even related to the roof Canopy installed says everything about the kind of company they are. I would absolutely recommend Canopy Roofing and Luis to anyone looking for a roofer. It's rare to find this level of professionalism, responsiveness, and personal care. read more

Our 7 y/o metal and two flat roofs developed a leak above metal roof on back porch. Luis said the leak was on flat part and recommended painting both flat roofs as well. Lost our breath at estimate from his company as it included removing solar panels and part of seamless metal roof as well. Never heard back when asked for estimate just to fix leak. We went with a small company where the owner came himself and immediately fixed the same leak that Luis diagnosed at a fraction of the price. In great appreciation and gratitude. Once I saw that Canopy was BBB accredited, I made my decision to go with them among the other 3 local companies I had consulted. Their professionalism was present during the entire process. From discussing the project with Juan to setting up the process with July Cruz, who was always on target and in communication with me, was top notch. The crew worked an entire day until my new flat roof was completed. Everything was cleaned immediately and no mess was left. The crew is friendly and the foreman gave me feedback from time to time. After YEARS of major leaks and inadequate "patch" jobs by the HOA supplied roofer, I gave Canopy Roofers a call. The goal was to repair three problem prone sections of the roof, not a complete reroof. To say that they were thorough and detail oriented would be an understatement. While I didn't get a whole new roof, substantial portions of the roof are brand new with work that I feel will last for years to come. A nice touch is that they provide links to an online album with pictures and videos of the work in progress on your roof. What elevates them to 5 stars in my opinion was the customer support after the job was completed. There was a leak in one of the completed areas and they sent a crew out within days to get it properly repaired. Juan, Federico, and Julie were always professional and responsive and always made sure that I was happy as a customer, something that is not always easy. The most amazing contractor I've ever had the pleasure of working with. They finished our roof in 2.5 weeks!!!! Our neighbors said they wished they had used them Frederico's team arrived every day at 7am and left at sunset. I felt they were very trustworthy . The entire team was professional. He sends daily reports including pictures which were great! The tear down was finished in a week and they cleaned the house well after the messy part. I had several companies come and give me estimates for my roof and Canopy wasn't the lowest. I decided to go with them anyways for a couple of reasons. They came for the estimate on time and seemed very knowledgeable. Took the time to explain some things that others didn't and didn't mind answering my follow up questions. They were prompt when providing the estimate and they communicated very effectively through this process. I am so happy I went with them.l! I had one complaint the entire time they were working on my house. I didn't like the stucco job on the flashing. They had the stucco guy come back out to my house and redo it to my liking. We are very happy with the work Canopy Roofing did for us. We highly recommend them. Juan came to check our roof and discuss our needs. We were not pushed to replace the existing roof, Juan was very realistic indicating that our roof is old but it may have some life left in it. After we decided to replace the roof, the contract was very detailed and clear, the price was fair. The estimation of the timeline was realistic, taking into account that summer weather may delay their work on jobs scheduled ahead of us. During the entire interaction with Federico, Juan, Melvin and the rest of the team from the very beginning to the end, they were very professional and efficient. Any time we needed to contact Canopy they answered the phone or returned the call within minutes. All our questions and concerns were addressed. I highly recommend this company. From the beginning, they were professional and courteous. Even though they were really busy when we first contacted them, they got back to me right away and set up an appointment to do an inspection and estimate (for free). Getting a new roof in the months after a hurricane is expensive--supply and demand laws--and they weren't the lowest estimate we got, but they explained everything to us really well, gave us options and we were satisfied that the warranties and guarantees they offered, as well as the reviews of other customers, were worth it. Initially they told us it would probably be about 6 weeks before they could do our roof, since there was a lot of demand at that time; we were trying to see if anyone else could take care of it sooner, so we were still getting estimates. Then our kitchen ceiling literally collapsed on top of us (literally...on top of us as we were washing dishes). They weren't able to promise to do it sooner, since it depended on contracts they already had lined up, but their time estimate wasn't any longer than any of the other contractors we spoke with, so we decided to go with them. We were so pleased when they called us a little over 2 weeks before the estimated start date to let us know they'd be able to start the following week! It was an unexpected (and very welcome) surprise. They completed the job in even less time than expected. They were in constant contact with us throughout the process, always responded very quickly to our calls and texts and answered our questions and addressed any concerns we had right away. We were so relieved to have a new roof within just a few short days of them starting, and that the hole in the roof was covered the very first day. They have been wonderful afterward as well, still responding to some needs we had for insurance, answering our calls and messages right away and getting us everything we need. Here are the roofers I interviewed prior to selecting Canopy: Hilson, Rodman, Istueta, T&S, Poe, and about 5 others whose names now escape me. Canopy was the only company that gave me a quote that was the actual price I was going to pay when all was said and done. Roofers love to give you estimates but those estimates don't include the $80 sheets of plywood you might need beyond the handful they've included in their estimate or the extra for this and the extra for that. Granted, you often don't know what you're going to encounter when you open up a roof. In my case, I knew what was necessary and Canopy quoted me a price that was as about as high as any I'd gotten, but here's the catch, Canopy's quote included every bit of wood and the necessary insulation so there were no surprises at the end; just a passed final inspection and the exact amount I was quoted. Federico and Melvin and Juan and their whole team are so concerned about their customers they go above and beyond what you would ever expect, especially in Miami, a city known for unprofessional behavior and crappy customer service. Great service! Took a bit long to come out and give me an estimate, but with the whole covid situation it's understandable. The estimate was quick and very detailed. All my questions were answered in a quick and professional manner. The price was reasonable. They scheduled the repairs super quick and were punctual. I didn't have to worry about anything. Wow.. Easily the best company I have ever dealt with in Miami. I was a bit skeptical originally because the other roofing companies I saw had 3 stars and this one had 5. But it turns out thats because its a 5 star company. They came out for an estimate. The person walked around the roof measuring everything for accuracy. I had a few other companies I talk to just look at county records and google maps (which dosen't help if you have porches etc). I was pretty confident of their measurements. Also they were able to remove my chimney for me. Some of the other roofers didn't want to touch that. Once we decided to move forward. They assigned a project manager. She is amazing and a force of nature. She gave me constant updates on every little step. I'd imagine other companies would probably disappear, but I can't say for sure. They were even able to get the tiles in around 8 weeks, where everyone else quoted 13 weeks. To be fair they initially quoted 13 weeks too. I'm not sure if Claudia called them so much they escalated it. But either way she's great about keeping you updated! read more

I HIGHLY recommend this company. From the beginning, they were professional and kept all the appointments. Federico gave us time frames and all were met in reasonable times if not immediately. I was very pleased that our roof was done in a timely manner, even when supply and demand are so high. We had the best experience with this company. They are super responsive, on time to the very minute, fairly priced and hard workers! We were extremely impressed. We had a last minute nightmare with the house we are buying, Alex came to the house twice on the last day of the inspection period to help us out even though it was very short notice. The team was able to complete the needed repair a week later and the inspectors came the following day and gave us a clean report and said everything looked great. If you have any experience in Miami with contractors, you know it is very difficult to find reliable people who do what they say they will do when they said they would do it. This company was so easy to work with. No calls, texts or emails went unanswered. They were transparent throughout the whole process and even upload before, during and after photos of your repair to a drop box for you to check as the repair progresses. Would definitely recommend this team and working with Alex as well was a pleasure. He is super responsive and helpful, he even stopped by our house to pick up the check so we didn't have to pay a 3% credit card fee! We really appreciated his help during this stressful process. After going through hell with my first roof after Katrina, I was totally stressed out looking for a roofing company. I got three estimates and one of them was Canopy roofing. What can I say? They were right on time for the estimate, laid out the way they do things and the products they use and gave me a timeline that was spot on. Once we agreed on the price I was comfortable, Federico Roof laid out a timeline for the work. That also was spot on. The crew came out one day removed everything, and then two days later after the inspection, The roof was done. The work was outstanding and Federico the boss even came out a couple of times afterwards to make sure there were no nails in my driveway. I had four flat tires with the sloppy roofing company last time. These guys are awesome and extremely professional.
