Let me start by saying that I interviewed seven roofing companies. One offering the Ygreen scam. I call it a scam because the authorized companies Ygreen has chosen are charging DOUBLE what the FMV is for new Roof, and New Impact Windows and Doors. Other Roofing companies listed on Angies, and Home Advisors had no interest in my wanting to pay CASH for a new roof. They wanted me to scam my Homeowners Insurance. Hence the God Sent recommendation from a neighbor to call Canopy. I am a Detail Focused person. I am NOT OCD, but I am focused on details and big on process. And Canopy went beyond my expectations as to both. From tear down of the old, to the finished new roof. Immaculate finishes and incredible work ethic. It is not easy seeing a massive tarp covering your in ground pool. But Canopy did it during tear down to assure none of the old chips and chunks of the old materials fell into it. When done I could not find any pieces of the old tile anywhere on my property! Super Clean. I highly recommend Fede, Claudia, Melvin, Osmany from the Canopy Team. FYI, they were priced the same as others. See my pictures. One key detail.... they paint all the aluminum vents same color as the tile. I recently hired Canopy Roofing to do my roof. I'm not giving 5 stars for any small reason, Federico knows what customer service is all about. He did what he said he would do, no hidden BS. He went over the contract in detail with me and he took nothing personal when I admittedly got a little rude to him over a misunderstanding which wasn't his fault. I was just looking for any faults in him (south Florida is a den of snakes) but he was outstanding in his treatment towards me and getting my roof replaced. I was paranoid in spending money on roof replacement because I didn't know him. But i gave him a chance and he earned his 5 stars easily. He got the job done quickly. The roof is gorgeous. NO DRAMA between the workers and me. He kept me updated. I could call him after hours. Sent me pictures. Sent me govt documents I would request. Only reason for any wait was because of tile production and delivery to my house which he told me before I even signed the contract. I have to start by saying I have worked in construction offices for 14 years so far and I was dreading this process since I know how contractors work in Miami. Everyone that I asked in the construction field, could not recommend good/reliable roofer. So, my online search began. Just like I predicted, I had called several roof companies and with no luck then there was Canopy Roofing. I honestly didn't believe the reviews but figured I was running out of options. To my total surprise, they reached out to me under 30 minutes with appt date. From the start, very professional, punctual, extremely patient (with my father that likes to talk and ask many question) and competitive pricing. Once the work started, Claudia communicated daily every step of the way and did a lot of hand-holding to reduce anxiety of the customer throughout the entire process from start to finish. Can't say enough great things about Canopy Roofing. They were the only roofers that bothered to contact me when the hurricane did damage to my mother's home, and I am SO glad because I got the BEST! Recently due to very heavy rain my roof developed a small leak in the master bathroom. I called Canopy and spoke to Claudia who is wonderful by the way. Claudia said Fredrico would be out first thing in the morning. I called Canopy late in the day. By the way Fredrico is the owner. The next day Fredrico was at my door step with his assistant Alex. In minutes they had traced the leak. Fredrico advised me not to worry and that a crew would be out shortly. Leak repaired promptly and professionally. I can not recommend Canopy enough. I have been out of town on a work assignment. At first I was very hesitant about sending someone out to my home while I was away. The project manager made sure I had all of necessary documents and brochures. Hurricane Irma came through during the last stages of the project. Crew members made sure everything was put in safe location until the storm passed. We hired Canopy to repair my hole roof and they did an excellent job. Kept me posted on the delivery of materials, to have everything ready for the starting date. They came every day early in the morning, and left in the afternoon, and some times late until they finished covering the parts that were discovered that morning. They cleaned everyday the woking area, and worked organized. I have to say the team was always helpful, respectful and hard workers. We passed every inspections with no problems. Canopy roofing did an incredible job on our full roof replacement. They were very quick from start to finish - there was a large crew at our home every day of the project. They showed great attention to detail and did incredible work. We have an exposed beam ceiling in one room of our house and the foreman made sure to come inside and cover that room in plastic to protect our furniture. Our new roof looks fantastic. Even though they have not physically done work for me,they have come by to provide a quote on a new roof and now to get an estimate on a repair for the shoddy job done by another roofing contractor.
