An estimator came out and inspected it but did not give me a written estimate. The next day a crew of 2 came to repair the area and the estimator came back with the written estimate but the job was already finished (in 3.5 hours). Only 1 of the crew, a young guy, actually worked on the repair; the 2nd crew person left to pick up 2 boards needed for the repair. The estimator did not correctly asses what materials needed to be on the work truck, necessitating a drive to purchase materials. I was charged for 2 half days of labor plus driving ( a total of 2 crewman for 8 hours each) however only 1 crew person actually worked; the 2nd crew person was gone for 2 hours picking up supplies and when she was on the site- she only assisted in priming the 2 boards that were replaced, for about 30 minutes. I shared photos of the 2nd crewman leaving and returning as well as standing around during the time the 1st crew worked. Further, although I was charged for a full bucket of primer, the container was only 1/4 full at the beginning and the crew did not leave me the leftover primer, which I was charged for. I was charged at the end a total of 16 hours for labor and driving time and I estimated the labor for crew person 1 to be 3.78 hours and crew person 2 to be 3 hours although she did not work except for about 30 minutes. I would not use this company for repairs as they do not provide timely estimates and the number of crew needed for a job are padded high as well as not working although being paid to work; the crew are dishonest and the owners of the company. A complete roof replacement had been done on the home about 15 years ago. The building code did not permit the metal roof to extend over the patio because of the patio's slope and modified bitumen roof installed. Over time a corner area began to lift and a small area along the flashing began showing a small leak in a bedroom. The roofer had gone out of business and we couldn't get a response from the product warranty so the search began for a roofer. We learned not all roofers do the repair we needed and not all roofers are interested in anything less than a full roof replacement. My initial quote was in 2021 and I reached out again to FSR mid-January 2024. The cost increase from the initial quote was anticipated but completely reasonable. The final inspection was approved in the second week of February. The process could have been even faster if we hadn't taken so long to sign the documents. Our experience with FSR was fabulous. Everything was done via email, text, cell and DocuSign. Communication was excellent. FSR did all permitting with the county. Once a start date was established it was completed on day two as projected and the final inspection completed and approved on day three. We know as our main roof ages who we will call when the eventual replacement is needed. It was a great experience and we would recommend FSR without reservations. Repair was completed on the 5 of December. Raised concerns about such a short warantee period particularly now that we are in the dry season. Representative assured me this would be no issue as she understood. Guess what 7TH April had a thunderstorm and it poured and the repair spot leaked. I called the roofer who did the job and informed him of my leak. He advised me to contact the person who I guess is the one who does all the paper work. From the date of the leak to this date I have been unable to contact her, and the roofer who did the repair, does not answer his phone. Guess this operation only does work where they are going to get paid. Recalls for rectification I guess they don't do that. I paid in the thousands for the repair, and now is have do it all over again.

After doing that level of due diligence, FQRS clearly stood out as one of the best overall values.
