We called for a roofing quote as we were told by our new insurance company our garage needed to be re roofed. It was a flat roof. We had gotten quotes from several places. Rod responded first and he came out to look at the roof. One roofing company told us what cost would be on the phone, and had no interest in coming out to look at the roof. On Friday, June 14th, 2024, a major storm drenched the Davie area for several days, causing a tremendous amount of rain that flooded my neighborhood. I developed a horrible roof leak that needed immediate repair. Both of my kids' rooms were flooded with water, and large portions of drywall and carpet were destroyed. I called my roofing company, which I currently have a contract with for a future roof replacement to come and fix the leak over my kids' rooms. This company was unable to come out and fix the leak because all of their service techs were too backed up on other repair jobs. I also called another major roofing company that was also too backed up to come out due to the storm. I've used Rod Guy in the past and knew he did great work. I decided to call Rod, while it was still raining and about 3 pm on a Friday. I spoke to Rod directly and told him my situation. He came to my house 45 minutes later and told me he was extremely backed up with other repair jobs, but he would try to send a crew out the following day. I never expected Rod to fit me into his busy schedule, nor did I expect him to come out over Father's Day weekend. But sure enough, Rod and his crew showed up at my house the very next morning. Rod and his guys tore down my roof tiles, found large chunks of rotten wood, and repaired my leak! Rod also came out the next week and repaired other areas of my roof, which he thought could result in a future leak. His price was absolutely fair, and his crews workmanship was fantastic. I noticed a small stain on my ceiling Friday afternoon. I knew what the issue was, had it fixed in the past. It was my Chimney...yup I have a Chimney. I know what you are thinking... A Chimney in South Florida, why? I agree with you. That is why I did some searching for a roof repair team. I found Rod Roofer was heavily recommended in our local area so I made the call.
