We were very satisfied with Dr. Sullivan, Dr. Agee and the staff at both St. Augustine and Jacksonville. The second detachment came a week later and, again, Dr. Sullivan scheduled the surgery right away and made sure my husband was doing well. No one likes to wait, but waiting for the best is not bad at all. Every person has a special job and they do those jobs very efficiently. We cannot say enough for these good folks. I sometimes wonder when they sleep though.

I also wanted to use this years benefits and I only had a few weeks to get it done. After informing the scheduler this, I was scheduled at the World Golf Village location in 2 days. My new glasses were ready in less than a week. I usually go to their office on CR210 but because I was in a hurry I went to this location. Every person I have spoken to at both of their locations has always been completely professional. I could not ask or wish for a better experiance. If you need new glasses SJEA (also know by a few as the "LETTERS" eye doctors) this company should be at the top of your list.

Yesterday I had a bit of an eye emergency. I've been dealing with a stye since last week and it got…read moreworse over the weekend (it grossed me out). My eye was swollen, my vision started to become blurry, and it was uncomfortable. I called Atlantic Eye Institute to see if they could fit me in for a same day appointment. I was NOT holding out hope, but when I called I was pleasantly surprised they had something open that afternoon. When I arrived I filled out virtual paperwork, and then waited in the lobby until my name was called. I can't remember the nurse I had, but she was pleasant, asked a bunch of questions regarding the state of my eye, did some observations, and then walked me to an open room. Dr. Diaz came in happy as a clam. Greeted me with a nurse. I told her I was sorry that my eye looked disgusting and she smiled and said these are interesting to us. So that made me feel somewhat better. After looking at my eye, she decided to drain the stye, due to the size, the discomfort I was having. It didn't hurt, she prescribed me a steroid antibiotic cream, and made me a follow up appointment and I was on my way. I was happy and grateful they could fit me in on the same day, because I was miserable before I came in.
