My son enjoyed the class, and so did I seeing him enjoy the water like a little fish.

I had fallen asleep, had a migraine and slept through everything which is unheard of for me - woke up 5 mins after camp closed. My son has been coming to this camp for two years never any issues. They got a hold of my emergency contact but they still threatened DCF. For a single mom with zero Support juggling my life, this was an insult, offensive and downright hurtful. Considering this is a female led business, I am just so disappointed at how quick the threat to call DCF and essentially "try to take away my child". I know that I have no issues and my child would never be removed but just to say those words...WORDS MATTER. The owner asked me to hit her and became very aggressive in our exchange, she is rude and just someone that should not be dealing with children. I am disgusted, disappointed and with my background I just don't understand. I am completely disgusted with humanity. I feel deflated as a human being as we are ALL struggling and compassion is always welcomed.

What a life changing experience! I decided to book a last minute yoga class with my bestie today…read moreand stumbled upon Agni Yoga. My friend had heard great things about the place, so we decided to check it out for ourselves. We took the 6:30 PM Deep Love Yin class, and wow, I was in for a surprise. This 60 minute Yin yoga session was restorative, healing, meditative, and truly beautiful. I left feeling completely recharged and ready to tackle the week ahead. The class was led by three different instructors, with each segment focusing on different stretches, movements, and poses. It felt like time stood still, but in the best way helping me reconnect with my body. The background sounds were incredibly soothing, adding to the overall serene atmosphere. I absolutely loved the experience and can't wait to return!

The best sound bath experience you will have…read more My partner found Agni Miami on Class Pass a few years ago and both of us decided to try their Monday night sound bath class together. After completing one session, I was hooked on the healing journey. Every Monday night for as many Monday's as I could, you would find me at Agni Miami for their 7:45 pm sound bath class. I've been making my way back as of late. Many revelations, lots of healing, and nights of relaxation came from these sound bath classes led by Vivi and Carrie. I am forever grateful. To participate is quite easy, sign up for a class, and come prepared with your mat, an open mind, and your body. That's all! Viví and Carrie will do the rest to guide you. I highly recommend to bring your own cushions for under your head or knees as you lie still on your mat for the whole session. If you're like me, a little support goes a long way. They do offer cushions for free at the studio, but depending on how full the class is they may run out. The class environment is usually pretty warm--come comfortable and light. Parking is a breeze--just use the side parking lot attached to shopping center. I also highly recommend arriving a few minutes early not only to get a good spot in the studio, but so as not to interrupt the session once it starts. Also--this is the perfect time to detach from your phone! Turn it off completely and even venture to store it in the closets at the end of the studio. What I really appreciate about this sound bath experience in particular, are the wise words of connection and relatability that Viví always shares to start and to end. She helps to set the intention and prompts participants to get in the right frame of mind. Plus, the studio as you'll see from the photos gives a beautiful healing ambiance. Now to be completely fair, I know my review is revolving around their Sound Bath--that's because I personally haven't taken a yoga class with them as I haven't made the leap to do yoga yet. But I know many who LOVE to take class there. Still, I found it important to review because even if you drop in just like me, it may open you up to explore more of their classes! Are you not convinced yet? Agni Miami is a must try!

KIRTAN WITH DAWN B, KISH RICO, AND KISHOR GOPAL 1/7/2024…read more"In order to relink - you must relinquish." I loved this line Kish Rico shared during Kirtan. Kish Rico had traveled six hours from his Hare Krishna temple to lead the practice. His devotion radiated around him and fed the room with love. Kishor Gopal had flown into Miami from his ashram to participate in the event - his passion radiated to the beat. Dawn B. - the owner of Ahana Yoga Studio - began the practice, leading us all in a beautiful chant. Her smile was infectious. Her energy sincere. Pillows, bolsters, and blankets were set for us in a circle around the blanketed stage/shrine. Once the chanting began, we were asked to scoot closer towards the "stage" and become one with each other. I lost track of which voice was mine and felt as if I had the power of 100 voices as I was singing. There was a ferociousness that erupted on the back end of the practice. It was such a great natural body high. The video above doesn't do it justice because when it was most mindblowing, my eyes were closed, and I was singing. I tried to break myself from the trance for a few moments so I would have something visual to share with you all. The studio is cozy and comfortable enough to make you levitate during the class. I jump into the advanced reformer bed, which is secluded in the corner, giving you privacy and the perfect space for you to focus on your session. The ray of light from the sunset hit me while pulling the class, keeping me warm and active during the entire exercise. The studio faces Douglas Park full frontal, which blends harmoniously with the natural spirit of a Pilates class. All these elements combined provided me with the gracious spirit of a tribal Pilates experience, making me wonder if I would be floating on air while I was swinging through the stripes through the Douglas trees. Dr. Gareth paid attention to all details and was on top of our class at all times, combining several exercises and making sure we obtained a complete workout. I would like to try more sessions in this space, as I think the environment makes it unique to capture an unplugged workout routine.
