My son, who is now 19 months old has been taking gymnastics here since he was 9 months. I can't recommend it enough!! I wouldn't have imagined a baby could take a class like this. But it has helped with all of the developmental milestones (crawling, standing, walking, running, jumping, climbing) and so much more. Not only has he developed strength and balance but also a tremendous sense of self, confidence and social skills. The class is taught by Ms. Eli who has more than 25 years of early childhood development experience. She's so wonderful with the kids !! She's kind, patient and she has helped me grow as a parent and mentor as well. She does the class in Spanish and English which is a huge plus for those of us raising bilingual kids! My son also takes a class taught by Ms. Eli called Early Stimulation that focuses on development of fine and gross motor skills, language development, etc. We do music and art, sensory play and it's every parent and child's absolute favorite ! The owner Clara and her stellar staff are always welcoming and available to assist with any questions you might have from your child's progress and rescheduling a class due to unforeseen circumstances. I want to extend a warm thank you to these special individuals that have personally helped me: Jackie, Eddy, Joshua, Sofia, Coach Yulexy, and their newest member Coach Kai. They're entire staff is really amazing and although I can't name them all, I can say that they truly enjoy teaching these young kids. We've been coming here for a while now and I can truly say this is a wonderful place for any kids interested in gymnastics. Or if you're simple looking for extra activities for your child. The establishment is very spacious for the classes and it has enough seatings for parents in the waiting area. All the coaches are very dedicated and focused. You can tell they work very hard with their class and help their students excel and perfect all their exercises and movements. They would let you know when your child is ready to be moved to a more advanced class. The staffs are wonderful, they are friendly and very helpful. Our favorite coach has been Ms Daniel. This place is fantastic! My children have been going to Gravity for two years now. My daughter has so much confidence! I literally watched her open up and start believing in her own abilities after taking classes at Gravity. I am very grateful for that. The front office staff are fantastic. They always take their time with each customer, I never felt rushed by them. All questions are always answered and they do their best to find the best time/instructor for you class. They also helped with setup, cleanup, passing out pizza and cutting the cake which I wasn't expecting. I was truly grateful for them. First off. The review from 3 years ago that only has 1 star should be taken off... this is not the case, at least not anymore ! I just started taking my 2 year old here to get her used to playing with other kids, listening to directions and new ways of learning. So far it was been a success! Her instructor James is wonderful; smart, caring, patient and just an overall great teacher. My Daughter rarely trusts other people and new situations, she instantly felt comfortable. Her classes has ranged in sizes from only 1 other child to about 7 others. And the attention and care didn't alter at all. Extremely happy with this place. read more

I celebrated my daughter's 8th birthday party at Gravity Gymnastics and I have to say that it was simply awesome. They provide excellent, 5-star service and attention to your child and assist you with setting up and making your child's party a wonderful occassion. Your party is the only party at their facility so you get the whole place to yourself and your guests during your child's party. First, the kids get to do some fun gymnastic activities and party games. They play themed music to your taste. For example, my daughter's party was a Halloween Costume Party and they played some Halloween music mixed in with current pop music. While the kids played, the parents were upstairs enjoying the food and beverages (no alcohol allowed), mingling, relaxing and watching the kids having fun. They have several TV monitors to see the kids no matter where they are in the facility. The staff was awesome. Not only did they play with the kids in a safe and organized manner, but when it was time to do the food and cake, they were very supportive with the set up, food service and the clean up afterwards. And they were very attentive to the details and extremely curteous. It's the kind of customer service you would expect at a top-notch facility, like a Disney resort. They are truly that good. And I got lots of compliments from the guests who seemed to enjoy the party as well. I highly recommend Gravity for your kids' next birthday party. read more

They've renovated the area upstairs to provide sufficient space and accommodations for parents while waiting. My daughter's teacher Ms. Andrea is very soft spoken but she's very tough. My daughter is three and she often tells me, Ms. Andrea is mad at me. Before class my daughter and I recite a positive message so she won't be so down on herself. An incident occurred Tuesday and today is Friday and I have not received a phone call as of yet. I left a messsge on Tuesday afternoon for Ms. Andrea to call me so we could speak about what happened during class. From my daughter's account, she came over crying and I asked what's wrong, she replied Ms. Andrea told me to come to you. This will be outmr last month at gravity. Please try elsewhere before signing your little one up. The goal is gravity is to love them up so fast so they can benefit financially but don't take the time to really butter them. They recently changed the preschool schedule and its a disaster. The teachers cant control the 9+ children in the class. Will definetly look into a center with smaller classes where my daughter actually gets to do things more than once. read more

Took my 3 year old to try out a class there. He seemed to like it just "ok". I wasn't too thrilled as one of the "instructors" did nothing to encourage him to join in the beginning (circle time-like) activity. Mind you, this was a first time "trial" class, which she was well aware of. At one point when he isolated himself and watched from afar she looked his way, shrugged her shoulders and said "whatever" (yes, out loud. And, yes, I heard her) and kept walking. Way to motivate a 3 year old. I think she realized her stupidity and eventually *tried* (with very fake animation) to get him to join in. She succeeded and my son eventually got into it. When they started the tumbling/balancing/jumping portion they didn't stop to teach my son how to appropriately tumble and all I could do was watch from afar in horror as he took big leaps to tumble with his head and neck twisting this way and that way. The other instructor finally (*finally*) noticed and called out to him (from about 10 feet away) "remember to tuck your head". Call me stupid but I would think that it only takes about half a brain to realize that a child who is taking a FIRST TIME TRIAL class would need more than a reminder yelled out to him from across the room on how to appropriately (AND SAFELY!) tumble. Mind you, I'm not looking for my son to be an Olympic gymnast (and if he is then great!). Just want an extracurricular, fun activity for him. Oh and the girls at the front desk leave A LOT to be desired. I stood there for 10 minutes upon my arrival while they were on the phone. Even if they were attending to business calls they could have nodded and smiled and even given me a "just one second" finger raise to alert me to the fact that they were aware of my presence. Instead they looked up then looked down as if they couldn't be bothered with yet another customer. No one took the time to introduce them self to me (not even the instructors) or to make me feel welcome. And when we were done the instructors didn't even come up to talk to me and *try* to sell me on coming back. This place needs organization and REAL instructors (for the pre school class at least. Can't comment on the older aged classes). Nope. Definitely not going back. Taking my child and my business elsewhere. read more

I have NEVER been more DISAPPOINTED in an establishment for children- one that promotes a program geared to "small groups, encouraging of independence and increasing social skills". Jackson "won" 4 free lessons at Gravity Gymnastics in Miramar. The free classes required a $28 uniform/t-shirt, which I bought. As we waited for our class, one of the older staff members comes over to ask if Jackson is in school- I replied yes- she says VPK- and in the sake of transparency- I answer no- he does a program that's a full day. She questions what kind of program- (I'm thinking- who cares) and answer- it has a little more supervision. Jackson was being shy and saying he just wanted to go home. The lady asked that I join in the class since he's acting shy. I did. The young man teaching expected Jackson to follow directions on 1st attempt (mind you the class is for 3.5-5 y/o) so I helped guide him. I thought- he did great! This could be a regular thing for us! BUT as we are putting on our shoes the old lady comes back and says- you know- he really needs private lessons because he's in ESE classes and we can't really focus on him (there were 3 kids plus him) and he's taking others kids time (there's was another kid that also needed reminders). I was LIVID- it all clicked why she was interviewing me before the class!! I understand it's a business and private classes = more money but be up front about it! (If you know me- I would have paid no problem) And to finish it off- the lady put her HANDS on me when I WANTED to LEAVE. I of course told her to get her hands off me RIGHT NOW!! What a cheap thing to use casual conversation to get more info on him to then isolate Jackson from a class for preschoolers. And what an aggressive thing to do- hold a mom down when she's trying to leave. read more

I have my daughter Olivia enrolled at Gravity. We couldn't be happier. I love the staff, they all know my Livie and take very good care of all her needs. Since she is part of gravity her social skills have improved as well as her abilities in gymnastics. Ms Andrea is out of this planet! The ability that she shares with kids is amazing and they all love her. I'm very happy we found gravity. I highly recommend this place for any kid.
