I have been to many dance studios for salsa, I think 5 total, and the plus of this location is teach salsa on 1(LA style). You would think that's common but it's actually not. You can practice on 1 casino style(rueda) many places. But that's not really the same. So every few weeks/months I would make a casual search to find a place, knowing all I would find was on 2(NY style) I was lucky enough to come across here just a few months ago. Like most dances studios it's a little warm inside, but it gives you the sense of a good work out. The instructors have big personalities, but are very approachable. The prices are great, especially if you use groupon. And the other clients are a lot of good people. It's not the fanciest place, and it doesn't have the best location, but if you want to learn the popular common style salsa of Miami, this is the place to go. read more

Nuevolution is no exception--the instructors are top notch, and you get that sense within a few minutes of taking a class with them. What is very unique though, is the atmosphere of the studio. It's family owned and operated, and the owners Guy and Cristina are amazing people. They are always smiling and available to welcome you. The studio is also relatively kid friendly with a waiting room with toys and books for kids. The variety of classes is the largest I've ever seen, and the prices are the lowest. Parking can sometimes be tough since it's in the same plaza as a YouFit, so it gets crowded at certain times, though don't like this deter you--just arrive a few minutes earlier than you normally would. I recommend the *beginners class for LA style. Cristina is a wonderful dancer & instructor. She's sweet and patient. I have no doubt she will make you feel comfortable every step of the way. I can't even begin to tell you about how amazing this studio is! They give you that family love as soon as you walk in the door. I am not personally signed up for any of the adult classes but have seen them first hand being that my oldest daughter is a regular student there and they are jam packed and fun filled.
