To the Owner & Visionary. Mrs. Christie Stark, the CAST Director Heather De Santino, the Staff, and…read moreall the Choreographers of Dancer's Gallery, I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for the unforgettable 2025 CAST Gala. That evening was a true celebration of the hard work, dedication, and artistic growth that each dancer has shown throughout the year. The New York theme brought a wonderful energy, and the entire night felt like a journey through a city of dreams and determination. Bella and I came ready for the night, and in support of her stunning outfit, I embraced my own dandyism -- a style and ethos that speaks to self-expression and quiet confidence. It was a nod to the ways we tell our stories and claim our place in the world, just as the dancers did so beautifully throughout their competitions and long hours of rehearsals. One of the most touching moments for me was when Bella's name was called as the recipient of the Kindest Recognition Award. As her father, knowing that she was honored for her kindness to her friends, dance-mates and her fellow dancers filled my heart with immeasurable joy. It is all we could ever ask for in life -- to see our children not only excel in their talents, but also be recognized for the goodness of their hearts. I was deeply moved to know that she was celebrated in such a meaningful way, in front of her friends, big sisters in dance and mentors. Zena, your vision and attention to every detail made this event so special. The venue was stunning and set the perfect stage for a night of joy and pride. Miss Heather, Miss Vero, and Miss Chiara, your awards and kind words meant so much to the dancers and families alike. To all of the teachers -- Heather De Santino, Veronica Alvarez, Chiara Gonzalez, Stavi, Storm, Sabrina Bishamber, Shara DeMaio, Ms. Christie, Eric Ubiera, and the entire DG team -- thank you for nurturing not only the technique and performance of our children, but their character and spirit. #DG Your guidance, patience, and devotion go beyond teaching choreography. You show our daughters how to be confident, compassionate, and resilient -- qualities that will stay with them long after the music fades. For that, we are truly grateful. With sincere thanks and warm regards, Patrick, Philomena and Isabella Doliny

Instead of support, my child was made to feel excluded. I hope Dancer's Gallery will take this seriously and train their staff to be more understanding toward children with attention challenges.

My almost 6 year old has built and will continue to build bonds with her classmates, break out of her shell, and DANCE her heart out! (she dances ALL DAY LONG!!) The Summer Camp is also an amazing option. It definitely helped build confidence for the new dance season! I highly recommend Thrive Performing Arts.

My daughter attended Thrive Performing Arts for about two years, two recreation seasons, summer…read morecamp, and 1 season (from August to June) on the competitive team. During the recreational seasons and at the beginning of the competitive season things were ok however, the moment I began asking questions and voicing my opinion, which I am entitled to as I am a paying customer to Thrive, things took a turn in a negative direction. Regarding hair and makeup, instead of giving a directive based on her vision for the dances and costumes, Ms. Andrea allowed the parents to decide. In my opinion, this is a flaw because when you are dealing with a group of 8+ girls, you face several opinions which can make it challenging to agree and at the end of the day, the parents aren't in her head to know what her "vision" is for the dances. Should Ms. Andrea have given instructions on exactly what she wanted the "look" to be, several disagreements could've been avoided. In addition, she lacks to communicate effectively with parents and can be vague with responses, and counts on other parents to respond when at the end of the day she is the director, owner, and teacher at Thrive. She should dedicate half of the time that she puts into making TikTok's with her favorite dancers to preparing communications with important details such as looks for competition to avoid any confusion instead of sending responses such as "What did we do last time?" and if she is overwhelmed then she needs to seek/hire help. At the end of the day, how she runs her business is what is going to keep her business going, not TikTok or Instagram. Despite her responses to other reviews, she does indeed show favoritism towards other dancers and families in the studio. When you disagree with her, she treats your child differently and barely shows common courtesy of even saying a simple "hello", mind you, you are the paying customer. Ms. Andrea would often send Ms. Jalin or one of the teen dancers to open the door when I would arrive with my daughter to leave her for dance. Not only did she act differently with my child but some of the parents and their children did as well... this speaks volumes of their character. After I expressed my opinion, Ms. Andrea informed me that I was questioning her integrity, which by the way is how you do things and morals are indeed questionable, especially in today's society. She gave me an ultimatum, not considering my daughter only her ego. This goes to show that she does not truly care for all of the dancers, only those she favors. This is a display of lack of professionalism. Lastly, I decided to leave the studio a few months back and took my daughter to audition at several other studios only to find out that my daughter is behind as she is not being taught the basics at Thrive. That being said, if you are looking for an affordable recreational studio then this might be the one for you however, if you are looking for a professional studio because your child is a passionate dancer this is not the one for you. P.s. I am not one to leave reviews however, I am truly disgusted with the services received and that is indeed the case in this situation don't pay attention to those five-star reviews which were made by an employee and her "teacher's pet".

I learned so much in every single class I took. In university at USF I took a semester of ballet and the teacher complimented my technique as being the best one in the class, all thanks to the wonderful education I received at academy of arts. Now in 2025 my 3 year old daughter is taking classes and is enjoying every class. My mother, daughter and I recently went to the Christmas show and we were so proud to experience the show. It was such a great show, still professional and beautiful. 13 years later and Academy of Arts is still producing wonderful dancers. I highly recommend this studio to all dancers and artists who are eager to learn and perfect their craft.

This is a full dance school that offers: Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Pas De Deux, Lyrical, Tap, Hip-Hop, Flamenco, Modern Dance, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Drama, Piano, Guitar, Violin, and Voice. The faculty is certified and have led professional careers in their respective areas of creative expertise. They begin laying a foundation from the preschool years all the way to young adulthood. And they have both female and male students. They also offer an AfterSchool program and work your child's classes at a mutually suitable schedule. The cost of the classes is comparable to other dance academies. I have enjoyed closely watching the development in my niece, as well as in many of her close friends. I also look forward to their professionally-mounted recitals every year.
