I was excited, nervous and leapt hyping myself up the whole drive from Palm Beach County lol The studio itself is located near Wynwood but since it was a Sunday afternoon the area was not too busy. Parking- this is where the lost star rating comes in. It's a really small parking lot and there are only 4 designated 'free' spaces. Any other spots within the lot were a $15 fee through cash or zelle. When I walked in there was a class already in session and our party assembled in a small room at the back of the studio. Everything else about my experience (other than parking) was great! I loved how supportive the instructor was to ensure that we are not only getting the most out of our experience but was doing so in the safest way possible. I had a bit of a challenge with some maneuver as an anxious first timer but I know for sure I'll definitely be back to this studio if the opportunity presents itself but for sure other local studios with similar aerial fitness classes. I love that it wasn't a mixed group, we were able to just laugh, be in community and celebrate our friend! All this to say- highly recommended!!

The instructor was very nice and really challenges you to step out of your comfort zone. When we got there we had to wait a while because a previous group had ran over time and delayed the next group that was currently in progress. While we waited we had bites and bubbly to kill time. Even though we had to wait an hour to start, we still had a nice experience. It was well worth the wait. Our group for the class was a total of 10 girls. We came to celebrate a friend's birthday. Parking is limited and since the other class ran over time, most of us had to valet or street park with pay by phone. The class was very interactive and they had music playing the entire time. It was really a blast and I'm glad we got a chance to experience this new activity. Definitely would come back to do it again!

My daughter had the pleasure of taking her first few months of ballet with Mr. Jean. Me.Jean is an amazing ballet instructor he is strict and loving all at the same time. He knows how to teach and keep the kids in order while still letting them know they are doing a good job. This has helped my daughter and her confidence tremendously. Mr. Jean now teaches a higher level but we are always happy to see him around. My daughter is currently taking ballet classes with Antonina and though I was very nervous at first because I heard she was very strict I can honestly say that I am SO happy with her teaching my daughter. She is a perfectionist and very professional and I am sure my daughter will grow mentally and emotionally in her class. Other than ballet, lulu also takes hip hop once a week with Mr. David. We are obsessed with the hip hop class. It is high energy and a real workout. We love Mr. David. He is great with the kids and an amazing dancer and instructor. We look forward to being part of the Kirova family for many years to come.

The park itself, Esplanade Park, is spacious and open, which made it perfect for hosting multiple yoga classes happening throughout the morning. There was a great variety of sessions, so it felt welcoming whether you were new to yoga or more experienced. I originally came along to keep my friend company while she helped run a booth, but I ended up really enjoying the whole atmosphere. The weather was classic Fort Lauderdale perfection. Warm, sunny, and comfortable without being too hot. Everyone at the market was incredibly kind and friendly, which added to the overall relaxed and community-focused vibe. There were a few food options available, including about three food stations. I remember an empanada stand and a taco food truck, and while I cannot recall the third one, it was nice having options to grab a bite between browsing. Many of the vendor booths featured cool products and local businesses, which made walking around fun and engaging. Overall, Yoga Fest at the park was a great way to spend a Saturday morning. Between the yoga classes, local vendors, good food, and positive energy, it felt like a true community event and something I would definitely recommend checking out.

The location was great however, with the recent rains we've received there were a few areas of the park that were a tad bit muddy. They made sure to try and cover these areas with plank board which was nice that they thought to do that in advance. The check in area was a little backed up when we arrived. We waited in the one main line for a few minutes but realized once we got closer to the front that they had a separate Groupon/advanced payment check-in line which would have been convenient to know ahead of time. The festival had a abundance of amazing local vendors and local studios offering free class passes to new members which I definitely plan on taking advantage of. I loved getting my 15 minute chair massage from the therapists at the Massage Envy tent. Food was surprisingly plentiful at this seemingly small festival. I loved that they had a popsicle vendor, two different food trucks and the acai bowl vendor. I though the acai bowl we had was a little over priced ($9) but the amount we got was a lot and the quality was actually very good. Great to share with two people. The only thing I didn't really care for was that they're selling average sized water bottles for $2. They let you bring your own water in which was nice but since it was a super hot day people were going through their water supply quite fast and there was no other water supply available in the area. My only recommendations for this event in the future would be to consider changing the date. Doing yoga outside in the south Florida heat is extremely intense, even if you are a seasoned "hot yogi". It would be much more appropriate in the January/February months when the days are much cooler. I would have stayed much longer if it wasn't so hot out. Overall, I had an amazing time and got a few classes in and I've definitely been re-inspired to start practicing yoga regularly. The Ft. Lauderdale YogaFest has the potential to be an amazing event as long as they continue to tweak some of the loose ends as the years progress! I look forward to attending the event next year!
