Second time gone to see a certain celebrity with them being…read moreadvertised up even til after the time we walk into the door and pay to get in but when we go to see then for photo ops or panel we get "oh they cancelled" but are still listed for that day and never advertised as no going to be there. So they let you pay to get in and take your money (which will refuse to refund, rudely at that) and tell you "well it's in their contract that they can cancel". But it's false advertising and you are stealing my money when you tell me I get to see someone who I pay my hard earned money to see and last minute, when you already know, tell me that they won't be there but yet don't let it be publicly known so you won't lose revenue coming in the door. If I ran the fairgrounds I would never allow them back! Today was a prime example of them being told on social media that Jackson Rathbone would not be there (which they were told at 1148am) and he was still scheduled for a 315pm photo op and 5pm panel time but was never posted or made publicly known, was only found out by walking up to the one who was running this clown show and she copped an attitude with us when we asked for our money back in which she said "that's out of my hands". $40 plus a $5 ATM fee because they didn't take a card to get in the door so you're forced to use ATM there too, cannot bring drinks in yourself so paying $4 for a can soda and bottle of water to be told that you wasted nearly half your afternoon on a false advertisement was mildly disheartening (note the sarcasm). I really like comic conventions but will never go to this one EVER again, PENSACON at least delivers what they say and I hope this one isn't allowed back. Oh and an FYI I'm posting this at 1114pm and their social media never said a word about Jackson not coming only his agent commented on his behalf. Sorry promoting and needs to be looked into because it's seeming more and more to be like a scam than a real business.
