I routinely find myself disappointed in comic shops when I travel. I find that they often have…read morelittle stock and are more along the lines of gaming shops. TBS has plenty of stock for gaming and obviously hosts its share of RPG and TCG gamers but it's apparent that its heart lies in the comics. TBS has an incredible amount of $1 boxes to browse along with any new issues from any publisher you could wish for and TPBs of all ilks to choose from to top it off. This is the standard that all other comic stores should strive to reach.

Setting foot in this place gave me four kinds of tetnaus and the full alphabet of hepatitis…read more Most of the store is inaccessible due to the sheer amount of crap. Items are stacked on top of one another, Jenga-style, and you have to move five or six things just to get to the comic back issue bins. Even then you're forced to stand at an awkward angle as you root through them, your left foot sandwiched between a mint-in-box Ecto-1 and a bin filled with loose Green Goblin Megos, your right foot resting on a stack of Maxim magazines held together with twine and adolescent sexual frustration. It's like walking into an episode of Hoarders, just with fewer white ladies screaming "not mah treasures!," more body odor, and zero schadenfreude. Calling Florida C's a fire harzard is an insult to fires and hazards and insults. This place is dangerous and should be shut down. 1 star because I found a Black Panther I needed.
