The owner is incredibly helpful and just seems like a really good person. I was fortunate to have had the time to talk to him for a few minutes. This was the first record shop I've ever visited that had my contemporary jams on vinyl at the ready & I was just in hog heaven!! I'm new at the record game, having recently been feeling my experience of an album isn't full without the beautiful album art which is such a special part of the story that is only a tiny thumbnail when I listen on Spotify, so I now feel compelled to hold the album & really vibe with it! So anyway most record shops have amazing collections of older records, which makes sense because that's the way music was done back in the day, but I'm more of a modern woman at the moment wanting to slap my indie beats, so I'm so grateful for what Revolver Records is offering! They did have older records too, all in pristine condition! Really beautiful selection. Other notes: Connected to bar Magnolia & coffee shop Jitterbug that will be opening in 2-3 weeks. Got to have a taste of the craft beer being offered with the super nice owners. I believe I heard they'll be having trivia nights, comedy shows & live performances there, which would be super cool because it'd make for some smaller, intimate shows which I love!! Most cds were $5 unless marked otherwise and vinyl were priced as marked. They even sell tie-dye shirts. The location itself isn't too large, but the space is completely filled with music. It was a great spot to rummage around and find that vinyl record I had been looking for. I found a couple items. Chatted briefly with the associated who did offer me help along the way. I'm in the area somewhat often so I'll definitely make sure to try to swing by here if I get a chance to see if there is anything here I can add to my collection.

Come in with an open mind and some patience, and you never know what you'll find. The pricing was great for what I got. Once I left, I realized that I wanted the Prince record I originally put back. I called and asked if they would hold it for me. They held it for me until today (the next day) so I was able to come and pick it up. It's in perfect condition. I know I'll be back to continue to add to my collection. In addition to records, they have cassettes, 8-tracks, CDs, artwork, stickers, and pins.
