About 9 months ago I got a rear tire and a tube and have them installed at this place, they ordered the tube and tire it took a week and a half and it turned out it was the wrong one it was for a front tire but they said they could still mount it on the rear if they turned it around and had it run the other way. I needed the tire so they did that and it's been okay there are the only place in town that installs tires on motorcycles I went in today and they said they no longer install them on anything but Yamahas. The manager told me that it's been that way for 2 years and I told her no I had one installed here just 9 months ago and then I finally got it out of her that well it's our mechanic he says he will not do anything but Yamahas because he doesn't know the torque specs I said I could bring in the service manual for my bike and she said no that doesn't matter he will only do it if I bring the rim in off of the bike and I am disabled and cannot do that the fact that she lied to me was bad enough but I will never go there again. When she said he would not work on anything but Yamahas I told her then I would fire him and she looked at me and I said I'm sorry if you think I'm being an ass and she said well you are. So besides from being a liar she's also very disrespectful and shouldn't be in the service business. They also sell used bikes there how do they put tires on those I guess they just don't want the business so stay away from this place.is my advice. Lost my flag at the dunes. Tab came off. Yikes. Came in here and the crew set me up with bar mount and flag. The man from the service department came outside with me to make sure the new set up would work. He didn't have to do that. The cashier was super friendly and humored me with a clever riddle. This is in response to the review dated August 31st. This situation has bugged me and I feel this woman is trying to give Florence Motorsports a bad rap because she didn't get her way. I am the person that bought the Can-Am she is referring to. I have bought three prior machines from these guys (900 Polaris, then a Turbo XP, and then a Can-Am Turbo R) and have never had an issue. Always great to deal with. On this day I was walking around looking at their inventory curious what the new Can-Am RCs were going for and I saw this Black Can-Am. These people were looking at it and talking with Ryan. After they left, I went over to look at the machine and saw it had low miles and lots of extras that would increase the value some. I went and talked with Nick and found out the machine was owned by their detailer and hardly used it (268 miles). Not really needing a new machine, but this one would've been a definite upgrade from my 2020 turbo R. Nothing else was said and I went back to camp. I talked with a couple friends of mine and asked them to come look at the machine. I took some pictures of my machine, and we went back. As we were looking at it, Ed came over and was talking to us. He said this was a great machine and they would give me a fair trade in for my other machine and then sell it and give me the difference. So now we go inside and see Nick. I tell him I'm interested in the machine, and he runs some numbers for me. At about this point Ryan comes in and explains the other group had come in and was interested in the machine, but he wanted to much for his YXZ trade in. Ryan said the guy was supposed to bring his machine back so they could look at it but gave no time frame. Keep in mind this is probably about two hours later and I am standing at the counter wanting to buy this machine. Ryan calls the guy and tells him we are in the process of doing the paperwork, but if things don't work out, he would let him know if he was still interested. Well... they showed up a short time later still without their YXZ as we were finalizing the paperwork. The guy was irritated, but it was the woman that did all the squawking. She claimed they had spent $40K in there and they had just lost a customer. I felt bad, but you can't expect them to hold a machine indefinitely on the word of "we'll be back." Long story here is Florence Motorsports did nothing wrong and the best time to buy something is when it's sitting in front of you. I just wanted to tell the other side of this story and commend them. Many years ago I bought a Polaris from the Polaris dealer in Florence Oregon and got great service, so I gave them a call and ordered up a 2021 Can-Am Defender XT. We drove way over to Florence to pick it up and what an excellent dealership. Such professionals and very honest. Recently brought my street bike conversion quad to Florence Yamaha they asked all the specifics about my bike as i needed a chain and not just any chain one that was over the standard 120 links. I have a built engine with a 62 tooth rear axle for any on that know that huge. They told me they had bulk chain that would work for my bike. What they didn't tell me until after the chain snapped in half and broke my engine is that it only had 1500 tinsel strength and was made for a stock banshee and under bike absolutely not for built bike. I didn't find this out until when going back to get more chain before knowing the extent of the damage the owners son stopped me made it very clear that chain wasn't made for my bike and that it was guaranteed to break if i run it again. He went further to say i should have never bought it, to make things worse the employee was in back cutting another chain while the owners son was telling me it wasn't safe. when he got out with the chain he said since we cut it and can only sell it at 120 length he was going to charge me for the extra 15 links to throw it away. When i confronted the owner about selling me a product that the employees said would work for my setup and that its was for 1/5th the strength it needed to be he claimed no fault for selling me a bad product admitting it wasn't for my bike that i should have know not his professionals that work there. Keep in mind they had to qualify what chain to use based on my bike and set up and deemed this was it. Now I have to go to court where i have to have 3 of their employees show up two of which who said the owners son was arrogant show boating that he was the owners son which the father had no problem with. If you own anything of value and want the right parts do not go to this shop as they clearly don't care to tell you when a product is going to damage your bike. And that is not just an assumption i asked the kid who sold me the original chain why he didn't tell me the chain wouldn't work and wasn't made for my bike. His answer was because you seemed like you wanted to ride this weekend. He knew and sold me the part anyways without telling me. read more

We just made our second purchase from Florence Yamaha! Both experiences have been AWESOME! Nick took really good care of us and answered all our questions and made us feel very good and comfortable with our decision about our purchase of our daughters step up in four-wheeler. The Owner even went out of his way on a busy day to make special accommodations for us in presenting the bike as a surprise. The service and the purchase made for a very exciting and positive experience. I would also like to add that we had our older 4wheeler rebuilt by the head Mechanic 12 years ago! That bike starts first crank every single time still to this day and we have done nothing but change the battery and oil as needed. I refuse to get rid of it just because its so reliable. Had this business do a tune up on my quad and when I picked it up it was dirtier than when I dropped it off. Also when asked to speak with the main mechanic I was told ,and I quote, "no, absolutely not". I'm sorry I didn't know that the mechanic was unable to field simple questions and that I had to talk to a salesman in the sales office to answer my questions. I would like to know if those people behind the counter are certified mechanics. And then again, are the people in the shop where they do the servicing certified or just people who have done work on there own toys and that's what qualifies them to do servicing. If you can't tell I am completely disappointed in this establishment!! If there was another business in this town to take a motorcycle or quad to , do it. But now I will be traveling a hour to have someone that is not rude and doesn't have the deer in the headlights look on there face when a question is asked!!!! read more
