Showed up, they were expecting me, gave me a 2 hour window, and I walked across the street to Starbucks. They called with bad news, funny thing is, I was kind of expecting it. My front brakes were bad, but my rears were worse. They got my okay, through another guy on the job, got it out in about the same time frame, got me in my car and on my way. Couldn't be happier with the work quality, and professionalism!

I had researched tires before calling the store and the associate was very helpful. I gave him an idea of what I was looking for and also tires I didn't think met my expectations. He agreed! After a few minutes on the phone, we decided upon a set which he said could be delivered by the following business day. Perfect timing! The tires arrived as promised, he called when they came in and I headed down to get them installed. Not only did I receive a great price, but there was a rebate available too. They printed an extra copy of the receipt for me to make it easy to submit. Now, that's customer service. The inside, sales floor/waiting room is super cute! They've converted old cars into seating and it's decorated in 50's nostalgia. Overall, I had an excellent experience.

While there, I made an appointment for 10 am the next week. I arrived early, and the middle-aged employee told me it would take about an hour and a half for an oil change and radiator flush. I told them that I would take a walk and grab a coffee. An hour and fifteen minutes later, I returned to the shop and noticed that my truck was still exactly where I had parked it. The employee said that " he wasn't sure what was going on back there, but that they should get to it when the mechanic is finished with another job ". I asked him, wasn't that what scheduling an appointment is for? For which I received a shrug of the shoulders and a blank stare. Not only have they lost a car care customer for years to come, but I now will be buying my tires from Les Schwab. Maybe a little more money, but at least decent customer service. A whole morning wasted!

If you have a foreign car, they're basically your only choice in Florence and they have all the proper coolant for all the European cars, it seems every brand has their own coolant these days, and Acr has them all in stock. They also use the proper oils and lubricants. I highly highly recommend Acr. If your service is not an emergency, call ahead and make an appointment they're always busy.

Battery on my Mercedes 2500 motor died so I went straight to Les Schwab in Florence Or. I've been…read morea loyal customer for the last 50 plus years...but no more. I purchase a battery and found out later they charged $51.00 to install it. Fifty One dollars to disconnect two connectors, remove the old battery and drop in the new one. A five minute job I could have done myself if I was not on the road. Battery Plus replaces batteries they sell for FREE! Les Schwab service is no more. If you need a battery, do not go to Les Schwab. And yes, I did call Corporate who told me he would contact Les Schwab in Florence and have them give me a call. He also attempted to defend the charge as some batteries are difficult to change.
