Stopped by this bakery and had such a great experience. The bread was delicious, but the customer service was what really stood out. The woman at the front counter was so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I think her name was Nancy. She made me feel right at home and was genuinely kind throughout my visit. I rate the food a 5 but sanitation 1 and front order station 0 . still new in the business but older lady taking orders handles money and breads without gloves and licks fingers to open plastic for the breads . There is no order in who takes the order and how to line customers up . Disorganized and I hope they get it figured out but customer service needs training and direction . read more

A local bakery that mainly works to supply bake goods to local restaurants and groceries. However, from Wednesday thru Saturday, the bakery is open to the public. Oldest daughter and I love artician bread, so the family stopped by to pick up two French baquettes and a tomato-garlic-basil foccacia. The French baguette was crusty on the outside and chewy on the inside, excellent. The foccacia was a little too thick for our preference. However, the texture and the flavor of the focccia were on point. The owner was on site and we had a nice conversation about the history of the bakery and the origin of the French baquette. Prices were inexpensive considering the freshness, high quality, and taste of the breads. We were happy we found this bakery. read more

A superb French-quality bakery right here in Florence. These folks just opened and the bread is so good they are immediately popular. The bakery is busily trying to accommodate both local restaurants as well as retail sales. Currently, they are open for walk-in customers only a couple days a week, but they are staffing up for normal business hours. This is serious and truly exceptional artisanal bread. My wife and I have purchased several loaves of their delicious bread and have thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The large and small sourdough rounds are fantastic -- a delightfully chewy crust with a pillowy soft interior. The baguettes are among the best we've had -- they make fabulous submarine sandwiches.
