Lina was truly engaged and excited for us as though she had not already done hundreds of weddings. Lina managed our spreadsheet so we could keep a daily handle on expenses and where we wanted to use our budget to make the biggest impact. If anyone thinks that a wedding planner is surplus expense, they need to realize how many details are necessary and how many get overlooked and then fall on brides or families of the bride which only creates stress. You are paying for a professional who has done this many times and takes the stress off of the bride, the mother and anyone involved in the planning phase. Whatever venue you choose , they can only do so much, the rest will fall on someone else. We consider the budget spent on the planner as one of the highest values and best use of our budget. It's worth every dollar to do that planning up front with a professional who then executes while you and your family and guests have a fantastic wedding experience. She even brought up great suggestions like having the families sit on opposite sides at the wedding so the groom's family can see my husband at the alter and my family can see me. He is extremely professional and exudes good vibes all around! My mom, my now husband, and I KNEW we wanted him to DJ our wedding immediately after our first meeting. To begin, he came to the venue (backyard reception at my mom's home) months prior to the event and helped my mom figure out details like where the bar & bartender would be, where our grand entrance would be, whether she should get square or rectangle tables, where the food (buffet) was going to be served, where the dance floor was, etc. He essentially acted as a wedding coordinator as well as a DJ. Before the event we had a few conference calls with Mike to ensure we were all on the same page. I really really appreciated this because I'm a huge planner and I like to know exactly what's going on at all times. I didn't really have any worries at any point during the planning process because I just knew Mike would come through. He is truly amazing at what he does. The day of our reception, Michael kept the party going and just as I expected, everything went exactly as planned. Shortly after, Michael called me and we talked about my party and what I was looking for. I saw on the site, they also offer Photobooths so I asked if it was possible to make a slight change to the photobooth and personalize it a bit for my party and sure enough, they were able to accommodate! I booked a DeeJay and Photobooth package. I got directed to their client login site (awesome) and I was able to include music, change and edit the timeline and add special requests of music. That client site made it so easy to plan my party the way I wanted it to be. DJ Cali was my DJ, she showed up looking gorgeous for my fancy birthday and she was ready to hype up the party as needed. All the music I had asked for were played and during our special dance...the Dancing on Clouds added such an emotional touch to our heartfelt song. It was BEYOND BEAUTIFUL! Professional, Communicative, Efficient and Wonderful would be the best words to describe what you are paying for when You decide to book them for an event. Recently helped to coordinate a wedding at this venue and it was so gorgeous! From the fountain, to…read morethe rose bushes and picturesque maze and statues, this venue is definitely a must. Quaint, cozy, but spacious. Tables and dance floor were set outside as well as hors d'oeuvres and cocktail hour. While dinner, buffet style, was set inside. There are plenty of rooms not just for the bride and her girls but a connecting room for the groomsmen if desired and much more. There were 3 restrooms available during the reception. Spot is located at a hiking location so you might get a few strangers waltzing in and out trying to explore the premise, which I don't blame them with how beautiful it is in there, none the less it can be pretty irritating if someone isn't catching them. Luckily the property management team was helping during set up and even set up yellow caution tape to help. During the reception there was security to help keep any wedding crashers out. Although there aren't a lot of people hiking in the dark so we didn't get any surprise visitors during the reception so I wouldn't worry too much. One thing that might catch anyone off guard is there are swastika like symbols around the venue. There is an info board at the entrance describing they dont represent the atrocity. That the symbols were placed BEFORE such events took place. They are very more than happy to help cover it up if that's something that you wouldn't like seeing. She'll even call you instead if she thinks it would be more efficient. 2) Preferred planner with our venue. She worked insanely well with our venue coordinator, which smoothed over so many details we didn't even need to be there for. 3) Mom energy. Jessica made sure my husband and I had everything we needed and more during the events - food, water, rest, shade, phones, you name it. She was super patient and respectful with accommodating our parents' requests, too. 4) Management capability. We had a big fat South Asian wedding consisting of 4 events over 2 days with a thousand moving parts. Jessica coordinated all the vendor contracts and on-site set up. She and her husband themselves were present for the duration of all events, which made all the difference. This is the person you want when something goes wrong. From having an emergency photographer on speed dial to adjusting the timeline on the spot, Jessica kept things in motion. She brought our visions to life, whether it was through decor mockups, adding sticker decals to our welcome mirror, or negotiating quotes and extra setup time & venue space. My most favorite memory is Jessica texting me photos and videos of the Baraat celebration, which the bride is not part of. Our family has made a connection with Jessica for life, even far beyond the wedding.

We first spoke to Katie for an initial call and she was really knowledgable and friendly that I was sad to hear we would be working with another coordinator, but Emily happily jumped on a call to ease any worries I may have had. We went with the Month of Coordination service which allowed us to do most of the planning ourselves (most of our vendors were locked in early on, but MB provides a lovely list of vendors they've worked with in case it's needed). Emily had us fill out a very detailed questionnaire (you can tell they know what they're doing with the questions being asked) and went over every detail with us, including areas we were still figuring out. She was available for any questions I had as well leading up to the day, made sure to reach out to all of our vendors with the master timeline, and even provided some guidance for my cousin that was officiating for the first time. I asked my delivery driver to send me a photo of the arrangement, which was much smaller than the listing photo of the 'Pink Special' and must more closely resembled the size of the 'Just Pink' arrangement which would have cost me only $89.99.
