Lina is AMAZING If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I planned my wedding in two months and there is no way I could have done that without Lina! She is very well organized, communicates well, and is very professional. My wedding was a dream because Lina helped make my wedding vision come true. She thinks of everything, and is well prepared for any situation. On the day of the wedding it was pouring rain... we had to adjust more than one aspect of the wedding day. We moved cocktail hour inside and had to do the petal toss at the reception. Lina, helped make all those adjustments on the day of (and there was much more) and every single person I talked to after the wedding said they've never been to a wedding that ran so smoothly. Not only is Lina amazing but her team is as well! If you are looking for a wedding planner I would trust Lina with my life! read more

Working with Lina and her team at A Stunning Affair was truly a joy. As a wedding photographer, I notice everything--and I was genuinely impressed by the level of attention, care, and intention poured into H & D's wedding at Casa Del Mar in Santa Monica. From start to finish, communication was clear, thoughtful, and proactive, which made the entire day feel calm and well-supported. Lina and her team brought such warm, grounded energy while staying incredibly organized and on top of every detail. Everything flowed seamlessly, allowing the couple (and the vendor team) to stay present and focused on what mattered most. It was obvious how much love and care went into every part of the planning and execution. I'd work with A Stunning Affair again in a heartbeat and highly recommend Lina and her team to anyone looking for a planning team that is both professional and genuinely kind. read more

We hired Lina as our wedding planner about a year before our wedding and worked with her closely to plan our wedding. We found her randomly on Instagram while looking for a wedding planner and are so lucky that we did! She was the best money we spent on our wedding hands down. We were both working full-time and living in a different city than where we were getting married. We were so lucky to have Lina in LA, as she was able to find us vendors in the area and set up visits for us. She is everything you want in a planner: organized, thoughtful, respectful, friendly, and open to sharing her feedback but lets you make the final decisions. We truly never saw her get stressed or flustered in all of our time working together. We had a 250 person guest count and a million other complicated logistics to keep organized, and Lina handled it all with expert ease. She helped us with our budget and set up a a task tracker, and was incredibly responsive via email whenever we needed her. Her amazing coordinator Heather was with me (the bride) all day and was also incredible to work with. Our actual wedding day went off without a hitch. We were perfectly on time the entire day and nothing bad happened. Our guests also can't stop talking about how amazing our wedding was and how well it was organized. We know this was not because of luck. We know this was 100% because of Lina and her team, and the amazing vendors she recommended to us. Lina was actually sick on our wedding weekend which we felt so bad about, and she still showed up as if nothing was wrong and didn't let it affect our big day. We are so appreciative to her for that. We truly would not change a single thing about our wedding day, and have zero regrets, and we know that's not something that every married couple can say about their wedding day. We were so sad when our wedding was over because we missed our meetings with Lina and how often we were talking to her before the wedding. It felt like a breakup! THANK YOU, Lina, for helping us to plan and execute the wedding of our dreams. It was perfect. We're so grateful for you and would recommend you to anyone! read more

We were having what I thought was a small-ish wedding, about 55 people, and I didn't think I needed a wedding planner/co-oordinator. How hard could it be? A couple weeks into the planning the overwhelm hit me. The sheer number of details and things I didn't know was staggering. My fiance and I talked about it and decided we needed some help. When I found Lina I was so relieved. She was calming, organized, supportive and extremely knowledable about all things wedding-related. A real pro. She asked questions and details about things that were important but I never would have seen coming. She always followed up with what she said she would do when she said she would do it. I knew we could count on her. She gave me gentle nudges when I was behind on something and needed to make a decision. She totally kept me on track and in the loop every step of the way. On the actual wedding day I got to see a real professional in action. She was organized, calm, graceful in a high pressure environment. She made sure Mark and I felt comfortable and had everything we needed. She gave us helpful hints about how to stand during the ceremony, which way to face (do we face each other or the offiant?), tips about if the ring is a little tight during the ceremony, how to finagle the cake-cutting. Like I said, things I would never have thought of she helped us prepare for before hand. Because of Lina and her lovely and equally wonderful assistant Tish, our day went off without a hitch. We enjoyed each other, all of our guests and the day was filled with joy and friends and laughter and grace (not stress). I will always be grateful for her help during this special, once in an lifetime experience. read more

We knew we were in good hands when our close family friends referred Lina after she had beautifully executed their son's wedding. Weddings are an extremely stressful time, with a lot of pressure and decision-making, but from the moment we met Lina, we felt calmer and at ease with the process. I may not have been a typical bridezilla, but I did feel a lot of stress during this time, however, with Lina's help she was able to make this experience more enjoyable. This is something that I believe is truly important in planning an event like this--and I could not have done it without her. Firstly, Lina is extremely professional and accommodating. She is flexible and worked with our schedule for all the meetings we planned together. She answered numerous emails, text messages, phone calls, and trust me, there were many! She literally made me feel so comfortable and I felt that I could address any problems, concerns, or questions with her at any time, without hesitation. Secondly, Lina is extremely organized and talented! She curated many documents that laid everything out for us such as calendars, to-do lists, wedding item lists, vendor information, and detailed timelines. This made my life easier and more manageable due to the many tasks wedding planning comes with. She also had this incredible vision. I was able to share my ideas, Pinterest boards, and photos with her- and she was able to make that vision a reality. Next, Lina works with your budget and has a great rapport with many vendors so she was able to get us different bids that fit into the price points we wanted to pay. She was extremely communicative with all vendors, and would not hesitate to reach out to them with any changes or needs we had up until the day of our wedding. Lastly, the day of the wedding... wow! Exceeded all of my expectations. Lina brought along two assistants on the day of the wedding, and they were incredible! They made sure everything was running smoothly, they were patient and calm under pressure, and they were always one step ahead of everything. Lina and her team made us feel that we could just be present, in the moment, and stay connected with each other and our guests. I can not recommend Lina enough! I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Lina. She was with us every step of the way to keep our planning process organized and efficient. We knew Lina was a great fit for us right away during the initial consultation call. She asked thoughtful questions and was generous with her time and vendor recommendations (this is all before we had even signed a contract!). We used several of her recommended vendors who all turned out to be fantastic as well. Throughout our engagement, Lina provided helpful templates and reminders, and communicated with our vendors and venue on our behalf. She truly made things as easy as possible for us. On our wedding day, Alex and Alonso on Lina's team were amazing. Alex was by my side all day with water, lipstick, holding my bouquet and dress, and she anticipated my every need. Lina and team ran the day seamlessly and we were able to totally relax and enjoy ourselves. Lina is professional, patient, responsive, full of great ideas, and overall enjoyable to partner with. I can't recommend Lina highly enough. She was the reason wedding planning was enjoyable and not a stressful chore. We can't recommend Lina and her team highly enough. From our first conversation with Lina, she was direct and transparent, organized and knowledgeable and determined to make our wedding a dream come true. We immediately knew we needed her in our corner to advocate on our behalf and guide us through the wedding planning process, and we were not disappointed. Lina effortlessly coordinated with all our vendors (making great recommendations when we needed help) and kept us on track along the way. Lina is extremely responsive and, more importantly, we always knew we can count on her to give us an honest opinion. Her empathetic and professional approach to problem solving truly shined when my husband contracted COVID three days before our wedding. Lina's support was invaluable in helping us manage the situation. She was in constant communication with our venue and other vendors, thinking through all possible options to go through with the wedding in a way that was both safe and enjoyable for us, our guests and everyone else involved. A week and a half later, we are happy to report that not a single guest or staff member got sick and we are still reminiscing about how we had the time of our lives! We are immensely grateful to Lina and the rest of her team for making our wedding day so special despite unexpected stressors leading up to it. Out of all the decisions we made related to wedding logistics--and there were many more than we could even imagine were possible--hiring Lina was by far the easiest and best one. read more

We got married in August 2008. We're "Julie & Mark" from Lina's website. I found Lina to be incredibly helpful and organized for my very DIY-heavy wedding. She is super patient and has many ideas when you're stumped on how to do something. She even sewed together our fabric wedding aisle runner! I interviewed about 5 different wedding coordinators before I selected Lina and I have no regrets. She is very professional, detail-oriented, organized and resourceful. On the day of, she helped me pull off last minute changes (e.g., I called an audible when I found my cake was not what I had expected/ordered and decided to not announce to the guests the cake cutting). She was able to keep up with me and my groomzilla without skipping a beat! All in all, she will assist any bride in helping you relax on your wedding day. I have no idea how anyone could pull off a wedding without someone like her and her team! :) read more

Lina made my vision come true. My daughter got married in Cabo in January and I wanted to host a reception for all our family and friends that could not join us in Mexico. So Lina, we need a Mexican Food Caterer and yes I want hand made quesadillas and also a Churo cart making fresh churo's with lots of dipping sauces. Oh, BTW, we need a florist, DJ, Staff and rentals (including fire pits). We planned for the reception in February, but thanks to Covid we needed to move it to April. Lina's constant comment was Not A Problem! I can't thank her and her staff enough for making such a wonderful event that our guests are still talking about. Kerry W. read more

What can I say, Lina made our BIG AFGHAN WEDDING! Going into the wedding, Lina and I we're both concerned with the amount of guests we were having, and Not to mention the afghan customs and traditions that she wasn't familiar with. She will go above and beyond for you when you really need her. She went as far as picking up all my wedding details from my house and taking it to the venue with her. She came across a few hiccups during the wedding, but she handled it with such grace that I didn't even notice. Her team was also so incredibly organized and prepared. They all went above and beyond what they were supposed to do and I can't be happier with this team. My family and friends can't stop raving about the wedding and it's all thanks to Lina for making it so special. My husband and I have never been more happier that we hired her as our coordinator. I had the pleasure of working with Lina at A Stunning Affair to plan my September 2012 wedding, and she was, in a word, incredible. Throughout our 18-month engagement/wedding planning process, my (now) husband and I would marvel at something Lina had done for us by turning to each other and saying, "best decision we ever made." Not just during the planning, but all through the wedding day, back at the hotel after the reception, the next morning on the way to the airport, on the beaches of Mexico, and back home again. We just can't stop talking about her and the amazing job she did for us--or wondering how on earth we would have pulled it off without her. I could go on for days, but here are some highlights: * from our very first consultation, I felt completely comfortable with Lina--some of the other planners we met with made me feel nervous about asking for what I wanted, or telling them when I didn't like something. Our chemistry with Lina was amazing right off the bat; not only did she instantly put us at ease with her friendly, easygoing demeanor, she always listened to our ideas, requests and concerns without making us feel like we were asking for the moon, and she always assured us that we'd get it exactly right on the big day. I truly felt like we were working with a trusted friend. * she has an amazing wealth of experience and eye for detail--after working on so many weddings, Lina knows what works, what doesn't, and how to incorporate just about any element into your big day, be it traditional or wacky. (We had some of both.) She also brings that wealth of knowledge to the other vendors; during a consultation meeting with our caterer, the mister and I asked a couple of questions and figured we were done. That's when Lina piped in with several more questions, and every time we'd be like "oh yeah, why didn't we think of that?" That's what she's there for--to take care of the things you didn't even know needed taking care of. * she is SUPER ORGANIZED!! This was a huge help for me--Lina kept us on track throughout the wedding planning process, making sure we were taking care of the details as we went along, and never letting us get bogged down by the massive to-do list. She made us calendars, sent us reminders, talked us through anything that was confusing, and most importantly, on the day of the wedding, she was on top of every last detail. It was like she was everywhere at once, thanks to a fierce set of walkie-talkies and some fantastic assistants: Stephanie, Arlene, Sam and Joy were all smiles, all night. And I was especially grateful for my "lady in waiting" Brittany, assigned to stay by my side and take care of anything I might need. Teary-eyed before the ceremony? Tissue! Helping mom figure out the bustle? On it! I never had to worry about a thing, because someone already had it taken care of. * she rolls with the punches--we had our concept and vision nailed down very early on, but of course, some details will change along the way. Lina never once balked when we threw a wrench in the works, even at the 11th hour. Her response to everything was always a smile and an "of course we can make it work." And she did! * working with vendors--another huge one for me. I didn't have to worry about coordinating final details with the photographer, the band or the lighting guy, because Lina was all over it. That's a whole lot of time-consuming phone calls and emails off your plate, so you can worry about important things like beauty sleep. * she makes things beautiful!! I had a vision for my wedding, and I put a lot of time into several DIY projects to try and achieve that vision, but honestly, they were all just pieces to a puzzle. When we arrived at the venue on the day, and finally saw the big picture, it was positively mind-blowing. She put everything together perfectly, in ways better than we even could have imagined. And she filled in the gaps, too--adding little unexpected touches I hadn't even considered, or had blown off in the flurry of last minute preparations. * she's worth every penny--for the level of service we received, I feel like we got the world's greatest bargain. In our earliest stages of budgeting we wondered if a wedding planner was an expense we could skip, but that didn't last long. From the moment we hired Lina, we knew it was money very well spent. Bottom line: we got hitched, it went off without a hitch, and we couldn't have done it without A Stunning Affair. read more

From our very first appointment, Lina took my suggestion for a theme and budget and put together great ideas. All my guests raved over the Carnival theme. Lina Wallace and her team at A Stunning Affair, were by far, one of the best hires for my wedding day. Not only was her service impeccable, but her referrals to my other wedding vendors helped make my wedding everything I had envisioned it to be. From day 1, Lina had a fantastic attitude and was willing to be creative to help fit my budget, such as changing some in-person meetings to Skype meetings and regularly visiting my Pinterest page. I knew at that moment, I had found someone amazing! Through out the whole process, Lina had fast responses filled with valuable information. From vendor referrals, to venue options, to how to get our marriage license, she was the key that held everything together. I never felt stressed because Lina had mapped out a plan to get things done in a timely manner, and followed up with emails in case I ever forgot! My new husband and all 4 of our parents were beyond pleased with her on the actual wedding day. From red lipstick on my wedding dress, to my bustle breaking for the 3rd time, to real life wedding crashers, and being there every second I needed anything large or small, Lina was like a magic genie on my wedding day. I have to give a shout out to the florist, Jackie Combs from Lotus & Lily, who was also referred to me by Lina. Jackie was willing to provide some great ideas, as I knew nothing about flowers and even help contribute some of her own personal items to tie my whole "travel" theme together. The flowers made my wedding come to life. She went above and beyond what I ever pictured in my head, and I owe it all to Lina for the amazing referral. Even when my photographer canceled on me months after I put down a deposit, Lina was great at calming me down and hopped right on finding me a new photographer. You will not regret 1 penny you spend on hiring Lina. When you think of a wedding planner, Lina is everything you'd want. We could not have picked a better planner for our wedding than Lina. Most planners we looked into allotted for a certain number of emails, phone calls, interactions, etc. Lina was refreshingly different than the rest and promised to work with us and get everything done no matter how many emails, phone calls, meetings it took! Our event took many twists and turns throughout the year due to the pandemic with difficulties in securing venue and vendor approvals. We ended up with a small elopement where Lina was so influential in getting the event to flow seamlessly. Happy to be a reference for any future inquiries as we had a great experience working with Lina. read more

Oh my goodness I can't say enough good things about Lina. She is AMAZING! I knew after our first meeting when she started taking notes even before I booked her, she was so attentive to every detail starting from the introduction meeting. She will remember things you told her in passing, that I didn't even remember! A wedding planner is your first and most important vendor, you cannot go wrong with Lina. Once I booked her, I breathed a huge sigh of relief and somehow things just started falling into place. Every random idea and question I had for Lina over the last 10 months (and there were a lot), she answered quickly and clearly. She figured out minor details, stuff I had no idea about she took care of and researched. The day of my wedding on 7/11, things went perfectly. She came to my hotel room while we were getting our makeup and hair done, brought me coffee and lunch. I was crazy nervous and anxious months leading up to the wedding, but all that melted away right during rehearsal. I couldn't have asked for a better planner. All her vendor suggestions were also great, from cake to our makeup artist, everyone was great who Lina recommended. LIna is amazingly sweet, funny, personable, got along great with everyone at rehearsal and wedding. And another awesome detail, her assistant Joy was so great! She was with me ALL day and we got along so well, like we've known each other for years. She was such a calm addition to the crazy day! They deserve all the praise, such an awesome team! I definitely miss talking to Lina every day :) THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING! read more

My advice: Stop reading this review and hire her immediately!! I will start by saying that I am a wedding and event planner myself, so I had very high expectations. Relinquishing the planning of my wedding even if it was partial was very difficult for me, but I knew it was necessary if I wanted to enjoy my journey to the altar. First impression of Lina, she was extremely sweet and made you feel special and as if you're her only client at the moment. I can't think of anyone better to plan my wedding than Lina and her team. Leading up to the wedding Lina was extremely organized and detail oriented. She crossed every T and dotted every I. She was also extremely responsive throughout the whole planning process, which is a pet peeve of mine and a must since I was planning long distance. I had no worry in the world for my wedding day. On my actual wedding day Lina and her team took amazing care of me and my bridal party, ensuring lunch was ready and waiting, prepping the grooms and groomsmen attire, ensuring the wedding day flowed seamlessly, and much more. I felt like a queen and truly enjoyed every aspect of my wedding. Till this day everyone describes my wedding as amazing and the best wedding ever. I even learned a few things from Lina to add to my own services for my own company. Thanks Lina :) read more

I could not have imagined my day going anywhere nearly as smooth as it did without her handling all the various vendors and giving me all the deadlines for everything. I cannot say enough about how much Lina and her team helped to make my wedding absolutely amazing! She put up with my insane emails and phone calls for almost a year and half without ever making me feel like she was annoyed and always responding quickly. She made me feel extremely comfortable, cared for, organized and prepared for the big day and was always so kind and sweet throughout the entire process. On my wedding day there were a few minor missteps that her and her team swiftly took care of without me or my now husband having to worry about a thing. One of her team members, Joy, took the most amazing care of me, my bridal party and parents on the wedding day and just kept us all cool (literally, it was 90 degrees and she had fans and water at the ready every second), calm and collected. The entire team took all my crazy decoration demands and made the picture that i had in my head become a reality and i couldn't have imagined it to be more perfect! Lina planned my September 2017 wedding. Lina was one of the planners recommended by my venue (Shutters) and I can't believe how lucky we were that she was available for our date and was just amazing. From the moment I first spoke with her on the phone when I was interviewing potential planners, she put me at ease about the whole process and it was smooth sailing from there! My husband and I both were incredibly busy at work and basically had no time to plan and could not have pulled it off without Lina. Did I mention that we also live across the country? Long distance planning plus busy work schedules meant we often unavailable and not able to give much of our attention to wedding planning for most of year leading up to the wedding. We found Lina Wallace of a Stunning Affair through a referral from a friend getting married. Note this friend is also a successful event producer with a roster of high profile events so if she was happy with her experience, I knew we would be as well! Lina offers a range of services from full service coordination, budget planning and event styling to day of (really month of coordination). Everyone's needs are very different for a coordinator based on your own personal strengths, weaknesses and of course budget. Our needs were very specific-we had a vision and had no problem keeping organized but needed some support along the way with questions, vendor referrals and ultimately someone to take over so we could really show up as bride and groom and be emotionally present and calm for our big day. Lina and her staff were amazing. She took over communication with all vendors a month out and made sure she was aware of how to execute all the details to make our day so perfect. I would recommend her without a doubt to any bride. read more

I wish I could give Lina Wallace a million stars. She is the best wedding planner anyone could ever imagine. She is so organized and on top of every single detail, even the details that you didn't even know about because she just took care of everything herself. I'm extremely picky and a control freak myself, and I was initially hesitant to hire a planner at all because I didn't know if I could trust someone to do a great job. But Lina exceeded every expectation and blew me (and my family) away at how accommodating, thoughtful, smart, organized and simply kind she was. I'd recommend Lina and her team to anyone!! read more

We were referred to Lina by another wedding planner who wasn't available on our wedding date. Lina met us at a Starbucks a few blocks from our home, armed with an iPad and manila folder. She started up a slide show of her past events on the iPad and asked us how we met. Then she smoothly transitioned into running down a very detailed list of questions about our event. Our wedding was only two months away and we were feeling overwhelmed with all the work left to do. We needed to find a caterer and rent/buy tablecloths and table settings. Lina was confident she could help us through the process over the next seven or eight weeks and SHE ACED IT! Lina referred us to great vendors and arranged food tastings for us. She was quick to respond to our texts messages, emails and phone calls and she was present at our site visit one week before our wedding. Lina was very thorough in her preparation for our wedding, anticipated our needs and truly executed A Stunning Affair. -Ben and Mashanda read more

On the actual wedding day, Lina and her team of helpers were incredible. Everything flowed smoothly and I felt like I could relax and just enjoy the wedding rather than worry about tracking all the background activities that were supposed to be happening at any given second. Her super detailed schedule made sure that everyone knew well in advance, where to be and when, which provided additional comfort to the wedding party! Above all, Lina is extremely professional and extremely good at what she does. I felt like I made a new friend during the planning process! I'll miss corresponding with her on a nearly daily basis, but look forward to an excuse to use her and her team again in the future!! read more

I highly recommend Lina! I could not be happier with how our wedding turned out and I credit that to Lina and her team at A Stunning Affair. There are so many details that go into planning a wedding and no online checklist covers them all. Lina is very knowledgeable, and organized. She helped us throughout the entire planning process. She gave us a "to do" list each month, and prioritized the items so we knew what HAD to be done, and what could be pushed out if we did not have enough time that month. She kept us on track without ever being pushy. Lina gave us great suggestions on design and fun ideas to make our wedding unique. All the vendors she recommended were wonderful too. She thought about every detail, and planned the day perfectly. On the day of the wedding, Lina was calm and professional and made sure everything stayed on track. I did not have to worry about anything. My husband and I are so happy with how our wedding day went. We were able to truly enjoy our day without any worries because we knew Lina was taking care of it all. read more

Lina was absolutely amazing every step of the way to help us plan a phenomenal wedding. She is incredibly patient and understanding and although I'm sure we overloaded her with emails and pleas for help, she never missed a beat, stayed very organized, and was ready to help in every way. She is very familiar with numerous wedding vendors in the LA area and helped us pick the best of the best, ranging from a bakery in Long Beach to a caterer in North Hollywood. She even had contacts for us to arrange an ice-bar! My husband and I work long hours and she was very flexible with us and accommodating our late night and weekend meetings. While Lina's capabilities and contacts are 2 of her top strengths, I believe it is her personality that really wins you over! And when you are under that much stress, you really need someone on your side that can stay cool, calm, and collected----that's LINA! =) I would recommend her over and over again! read more

After contacting 10 wedding coordinators and meeting with 4, my mom and I knew right away that Lina would be the one to make the wedding a magical/stunning event! And that it was, my wedding felt like a fairytale to me, thanks to the wonderful guidance from Lina. What drew me to her most, was the fact that she listened and took the time to understand exactly what I wanted esthetically, as well as the intimate feeling I wanted to create with a guest count of 275 at saddlerock ranch. She showed me personal details that I would have never thought of, and links to multiple vendors on etsy so I could find the perfect "here comes the bride " sign. Ohh and her timeline, checklist, and referral list is worth gold! She answered all of my texts and emails probably at the same hour they were sent and calmed me whenever I started to panic over anything. Lina handles every situation with a smile and warmth in her voice. We had a situation where a cousin felt that my bridal party line up was not correctly set up. Instead of bringing me into the conversation, she took in everything the cousin had to say, and kindly answered that every wedding is different and that this was the manner in which the bride had chosen. This right away calmed the meddling cousin! Thank you Lina. She also helped me book 4 days before the wedding new violinists, since the ones I booked without her ended being unavailable! Everybody she referred me to was spot on. She was mindful of their aesthetic and selected the ones that would help me achieve my perfect wedding! She even delivered food on the day of the wedding to make sure everything was running smoothly on my end. Lina is first rate, and without her Ihave no idea how the whole wedding would have come together! read more

Lina is incredible. She is very experienced in wedding planning and brought to our attention so many details that we did not think of on our own. Prior to our wedding, she met with us several times and each meeting was beyond productive. She fashioned timelines for us, gave us templates to work off of, got in touch with vendors for random things we ended up needing (like outdoor twinkly lights, neon signs and high chairs), checked in with each of our vendors, advised us on appropriate etiquette for things like making escort cards, proofread our invitations... it's endless the amount of things Lina did for us prior to the wedding. Even more impressive was her ability to pull off everything we wanted on the day of. It was probably the hottest day of the year in LA, but Lina brought a trustworthy pair of assistants with her and they were spectacular. I gave Lina 6 boxes of decorations the day before and she unpacked everything flawlessly. The entire place looked amazing. At the end of the night, she meticulously repacked everything into my aunt's car. While she and one of her assistants handled the entire venue and guests, she had another assistant helping me and my bridal party get ready. Everything went according to plan and I have Lina and her team to thank. Lina is truly a gem. I've heard countless stories from friends where they've told me that their day-of coordinator didn't do a whole lot for them. Lina is the opposite. She was absolutely invaluable to me and my now-husband. If you are looking for a wedding planner or day-of coordinator, Lina is the best resource you can hire. Her professionalism, organization and detail-oriented nature make her so pleasant to work with. We miss her dearly. read more

Lina was excellent! I got married this past October and both my husband and I agree that our wedding came off without a hitch because of Lina. She was always available for me to run ideas by her. Line kept in touch with all my vendors and kept me on top of things. Because of Lina, I was able to have a many restfull nights and enjoy my wedding reception to the max. Lina is just perfect! read more

September 1, 2012 was a glorious and magical day, and Lina Wallace deserves all the credit in this world. I contracted with Lina about a year before my date and during this time (and 270 emails later!) we developed a relationship founded on trust, respect and joy. She has mastered the art of honoring her clients' wishes while going to the ends of the earth to execute this vision. She is an impeccable listener with a kind and gentle spirit. On my wedding day, Lina and her team brought a wave of calm to an already chaotic moment. She was a model of poise and handled all glitches with this same approach. I offer my highest recommendation for Lina Wallace; no words can appropriately capture my gratitude to Lina for our beautiful wedding. read more

I could not have asked for a better wedding planner. Lina was amazing. She made my wedding day (April 2013) a dream come true. There was not one point during my wedding that I worried about anything. She handled it all with her great staff. It was almost like she had a solution for everything...there was a point when my feet hurt and she had her staff run out to get me comfy sandals to dance with and when my dress ripped slightly because someone stepped on it, she had my safety-pinned and fixed up in minutes. Leading up to the wedding, Lina spent a lot of time planning and making sure we had everything finalized down to the smallest details. Her vendor recommendations were all superb. There were so many things I would not even have thought about or been aware of had it not been for her. She created organized calendars and to-do lists and was always responsive. She always made time to accommodate my busy schedule and made my wedding planning process as de-stressful as possible. Many guests came up to me after my wedding to ask about my wedding planner and noted that they had never seen a wedding that went so smoothly and was so beautifully done. Lina made my dream wedding come true and I would highly recommend her to anyone! She knows how to work with all different types of budgets and still create the wedding you want! read more

Lina and her team gave me my dream wedding! Let me say that again -- Lina and her team gave me my dream wedding! And planning it wasn't nearly as painful (at least for me) as it could have been. Like the brides that have reviewed before me, I cannot begin to say enough about what Lina did (and put up with) to help bring my vision for my (whoops! our) wedding to fruition. She was extremely communicative (even though I over communicate), and ridiculously flexible. I was in the middle of a trial for much of the time we were planning the wedding, and Lina was willing to meet with me at my office, or at my home in the late evenings. I know I would not have gotten that much flexibility from other wedding planning professionals. This may sound weird, but throughout the planning process, Lina also felt like a good friend. It's important that you have a good relationship with your planner, someone that can help you brainstorm, make recommendations, and reel you in when you've gotten a little too creative, or are in danger of going well over budget. Lina was that person for me. She helped me narrow down my ideas for our save the date and invitation suite, and made sure every detail of the wedding (and there were a lot, thanks to me) tied into the theme that was set by the stationery. She recommended vendors that were energetic, professional, and excited to work on a colorful wedding. She helped corral those vendors that I insisted on finding myself, and helped me find one-stop shops when I wanted to make things difficult for us both. She even procured 100 gold chargers from another bride (cheaply) for my table scape. From the very beginning she shared my vision, and was sufficiently organized and on top of things to keep me on task. I relied heavily on the budget documents and task calendar that she created for me, and the day of check list was essential! As a type-A, Capricorn, lawyer-type, it's rare that I can say that I completely trust another person to get things done the way that I want them, but I trusted Lina. I could not have asked for a better planner. More important than anything I've mentioned previously, was Lina's team's ability to execute on our wedding day. There were a ton of little details and moving pieces in our wedding, cocktail hour, and reception (including a dessert table with 12 types of candies, a wedding cake, and various other desserts, and a candy bar cart). Although I know it had to be a feat of Herculean proportions, Lina and her team managed to execute every single detail as I envisioned. In fact, many of the little vignettes (the ceremony beverage cart, guest book table, bear shaped escort sign) exceeded my expectations. Every little detail was there, and our friends and family noticed. Lina, Thank you so much for giving us such a beautiful and personal wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. We could not have done it without you! And we miss you!! read more
