Cute rooftop bar in El Segundo. Good for date night as well as drinks with a couple of friends. There's outdoor seating with a fireplace and warm lighting. They serve food as well. Mocktails are available but not shown on the menu. We had virgin mojitos and they were a vibe. Street parking available. Credit cards accepted. They do close early for a bar so if you're looking for a late night, you may want to head elsewhere. Waitresses come around to take your order. Restrooms are available in the lobby close to the elevators. read more

the flora rooftop bar is really beautiful and perfect for a date night or sunset drinks. it can be cold so bundle up. the vibes are great and are definitely the main reason i go. it is one of the only rooftop bars in the area. drinks are well done, but can be a little pricey. food is also quite expensive for what you're getting. service has always been amazing everytime i go. read more

This place was super cool, very trendy, and you get lots of cute pics! We stopped by before a concert at the sofi stadium, so happy we found it. PARKING- Plenty of it available, they have a structure (just make sure to get ticket validated) FOOD- Very Tasty. My favorite was the chicken flat bread. It has lots of pesto and fresh ingredients. 10/10. Sliders were good too! DRINKS- Front Porch Sour!!!! We tried a few drinks and all were good! This place is super cute, it's really close to LAX so you get to see the planes landing as well as the sunset. Great for dates, girls night, etc. read more

Came here on a Sunday night with my friends. It was not packed and my friend had made a reservation. There is valet parking as the restaurant/bar is in a hotel rooftop. Since it was Saturday there was plenty of street parking available. The bar itself was pretty romantic as we saw there were many couples having a date. It was adorable that they put the menu QR code on a succulent. Foodwise I recommend the cauliflower, fries and chips and guacamole. I've been on an espresso martini kick and I want to say it's the best espresso martini I have had in my life. I had to get another. I will be definitely coming back with my boyfriend here in the future read more

They are located in the AC Hotel rooftop. They have reservations, but they also welcome walk-ins. I came with no reservations and was seated instantly. There is an indoor area and the rooftop with the fire pit. They have food and drinks here, but I stayed for drinks. The vibe was nice and when I was here the was like music! You can't see the planes landing from here, but still such a relaxing atmosphere. Service was a little on the slower side because there was one server. read more

Cool rooftop bar located at the top of the AC Hotel. They have a cool fire pit area, live music, cool seating for large groups. Loved the ambiance the only downside was service was a bit slower and we were thirsty for adult beverages. read more

Flora Rooftop Bar - Me and my friends had a late night catch up at Flora - Lounges Near Me - El Segundo, California

Why should you go here? 1. It's a gorgeous set up with lots of plants and a long fire pit that acts as both ambiance snd warmth. It doesn't feel like you're so close to the airport. 2. Flora fries - get extra aioli...trust me. 3. Delicious drinks. I tried the frozen paloma and it was great. Nothing wrong with a glass of bubbly either. Only small downfall are the operating hours are limited, currently from 4pm-10pm. Hopefully that changes one day! Also, if you're a vegan, there are like 2 options for you on their food menu. read more

Stayed here and decided to come to the roof top. The ambiance is niiice!! When night time hits they have a projector TV on the wall. They even have a cool photo booth that's free; you take the pic and email to yourself however we never received our pics! There is a 20% service charge that they don't mention when reserving for a larger party for the covered seating. Service: Ricky was great. Fun. Menu: limited. Drinks. Over priced and small. Food: 1.flora fries- good, they came with a dipping sauce 2. Spinach salad with shrimp. Delicious!! But over priced. $20: $12 + $8 for shrimp 3. Hummus. The person I was with said it was good. Overall the Flora Roof Top is best for ambiance. I would love to see better menu choices. The drink prices need to come down or the size needs to increase with less ice. Sip slow or drink before you go or go some place else after you've enjoyed the view. Enjoy! read more

Pretty spot but would not come back. Service needs to improve. Had reservation but they didn't even ask for our name, etc. Once we were seated, no one greeted us, not even a "we will be with you shortly". It wasn't even crowded and we were sitting there waiting for a bit. No water even. Went to get someone at the front so we can put in our drinks order. Food was okay, again it's a cool spot, awesome views, but I won't be coming back. Maybe happy hour is better since everything is pricey to begin with. read more

Enjoyed a wonderful early dinner here while waiting for my mom to arrive at LAX. Beautiful rooftop setting with great service, nice warm fire pits and lovely plants surrounding the dining space. We loved our Spicy Watermelon Margaritas made with Ghost habanero tequila, fresh watermelon juice, lime, and agave. We also enjoyed the blistered Shishito Peppers with a delicious and spicy Habanero Aioli and the chicken wings were incredible!!! Super crispy with a delicious parmesan garlic sauce. I went here with a co-worker who was in town on business. I work around the corner and didn't know about this spot. The location is great and has amazing potential, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. It wasn't crowded and it took about 10 minutes for someone to come over. They took our order - food and a cocktail. We waited.....and then waited some more. We started receiving our food and asked where the cocktail was. They hadn't ordered it with the bartender. Yikes!!! They checked on us once and that was it. Took a minute to get container and check. This place is cute, but they need to tighten up the service. read more

I went here for the first time yesterday with my friend, we came for a few drinks after an event - the ambience was nice and it was very nice rooftop. Very quiet was OK. The reason why I'm giving this place one star is due to the mold found on top of the water pitcher they gave us. My friend had asked one of the servers about it and she said " oh, it just needs some additional attention, but it's clean" and does not clean it or give us a new one. Literal mold!!!!!!!!! needless to say, we did not drink the water - I was scared to drink my alcoholic beverage. I had ordered after that. Will not be coming back here again. read more

Great aesthetics! I love the flowers everywhere and there were plenty of heaters to keep warm by on a cold winter night. The drinks are pretty although slightly pricey but that's to be expected from a place like this. It's a rooftop bar on the top of a hotel. There's street parking or valet parking at the hotel. There were plenty of signs inside the hotel to direct you where to go. Customer service was okay, the waitress seemed a bit bored and unenthusiastic when I asked about the cocktail menu. Besides that, I would definitely come back for a nice date night or group outing. read more

Hosted a private engagement party here this summer. It could not have been any more spectacular! To say it exceeded our expectations would be the understatement of the century. I worked with Anne Wolk, AC Marriott's Event manager, to plan all of the details. She was incredible....always responsive and helpful in every capacity. The party went off without a hitch. You cannot beat the venue...it speaks for itself...but the service and food were equally great (I highly recommend the taco bar)! Huge shoutout to Zaine, who oversaw the event that night, and Dezirae, who bartended. We were so lucky to have such a great staff on hand, who attended to our every need and beyond. We even planned a baby shower for their downstairs venue (The AC Lounge) the following week. This venue is definitely the crown jewel of the South Bay. I highly recommend!!!! Thank you Annie and crew! read more

Arrived at 8 PM with a reservation that was not honored. The seating was uncomfortable. I observed some guests eating from their laps. We ordered food, drinks, and water, but it took 30 minutes just to receive water. Staff repeatedly asked us to scan the menu and reorder. By 9:20 PM, we still hadn't received drinks or dinner. A very disappointing experience overall. read more

(Review from 10/27/23) It's a cute/small rooftop bar with nice ambience. Made a reservation and went Flora as a group of 5 on a Friday evening. Loved the fire-pit & lighting but taking order took forever. Since no one was taking orders, went directly at the bar to order but just like other reviewers were saying, we were not allowed to order directly and were told to sit at the table & wait. The server was not at all friendly but I think she was just way too busy. Drinks/food were okay. read more

It's a beautiful little bar... tucked away on the roof of a hotel. This was a great place for us since we were doing a park and fly and needed a place to turn in for the night. It was late and we needed some food and drinks. The food was good and some of the drinks were yummy. Supposedly they have music but we didn't see or hear any. We asked and they say said the DJ already left but it was only 9pm, so idk. It was definitely pricey for what we were getting and it was just ok. I don't mind pricey food, maybe a little quality I guessed... read more

Went on a Monday night with coworkers and it was fairly busy. I agree with other reviews saying that the ambiance is nice, the food/drinks are delicious, but the service was quite slow. It was solely due to the server being spread too thin covering the entire roof, though. We were a 10+ large group, which is difficult in itself--but the whole roof! She needs some help! Also, coworkers I attended the bar with were kind of baffled at how small the beer glasses were (to the point where it became a running joke). I enjoyed the hummus but the fries were the Winner for me food-wise. read more

Ok I love food so much but when it looks this beautiful it's hard to just go in and eat it :) this place was hands down so good from the food, the vibe, to the amazing drinks it was definitely a hit on the last day in California! We decided to try this place hours before our flight and this spot is a must if you're looking for something new to try before you head to LAX!! The hummus plate, sliders and cheese and meats were delicious!! 10/10 will be coming back again to try more food items!! The only thing I took off one star for was it was pretty packed and short staffed so it was hard to get more orders in with the time we had. If you're in the area you gotta try them! read more

Nice place. We went here because someone told us about it. The food was good but the service was okay. Our waitress was not attentive. We had to flag down someone else to get service at one point. Our drinks were weak so we had to ask for a shot to go with it. When ordering a another drink we asked for a double . The firepit while dining was sexy and the place was quite for an evening out. The thing you need to understand about Flora is this. Sure, the view is underwhelming. The service was terrible but the food- also not good. We were excited to try out Flora. When we got seated we had this weird sensation where the live DJ to one side was playing music that competed with music right below us out of the other ear. And so two different types of music, smashing up against each other was weird. The rooftop itself is fine enough but nothing to write home about. The service was lacking. There was a weird system where we had two people waiting on our table. One would come up and ask if we wanted something to drink. We'd order. Several minutes later the other person would walk up and ask if we wanted something to drink... ummm, we just ordered with the other person. That went on throughout the night. And despite the eagerness there the service was SLOW. We had two tables that got seated near us and after waiting so long for service just got up and left. Around that time, we had finished our food and been waiting for a long time for our check too. So I got up and went inside to look for a waitress. The drinks were underwhelming. The food we had overly dry. All in all, it's not a place we'd come back to. read more

Service: 2 stars Ambience: 4 stars Food: 3 stars Service is incredibly slow. I'm not here on a night one server. There are three, and a bartender. The music is a one man band but the vibes are in crow my when he's playing. What's lacking is attentiveness to the customers. There are people who have been here for 5-10 minutes, and the attention lacks. We ordered the cheese plate, iron steak, and sliders. Our drinks came so slowly. Our server asked if we still wanted them. I feel like she forgot to even place the order, and trying to make up for her mistake, she blamed it on the bartender. Food was okay. My steak came medium when I asked for it medium rare. Still good though. Cheese and fruit plate was okay, you can skip out on that. I don't know if I'd be back. This is our second time. I'll just follow the musician. read more
