Three were eliminated because of the onerous terms of their form contracts, the unprofessional rep who visited us, or the delay/failure to provide a written bid. 312Flooring was completely different. Jesse, who came to bid the job, was knowledgeable, helpful, and obviously had authority to respond to questions and concerns. Peter, the owner, reviewed Jesse's video of the job, and approved the written bid. We chose 312Flooring. Their bid was not the lowest, but they were not the highest either. Peter and Jesse guided the project through our Condo Assn., stayed in touch with us reporting their progress, and were ready to start on the date promised. On the appointed day, the installation crew, Juan and his two sons, arrived. The next three days were almost pleasurable -- they were skilled, polite, respectful of our home, and enormously helpful in resolving the difficulties that arise during any remodeling project. Our floor was finished on time and on budget and we are very pleased with the finished product. While any home improvement project can be stressful, we heartily recommend 312Flooring should you decide to replace or install hardwood flooring.

9/10; would recommend!…read more I hired the America's Flooring team when I moved into a new house and needed locks changed. Initial contact: We stopped by the store and were introduced to Brian. He was very warm and personable (he recommended a lunch spot nearby that is now one of our favorites in the area!) He walked through all the details with us, gave us a bunch of advice (not in an overbearing way all though - which I'm sensitive to), and made sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. Getting the work done: I was able to text Brian throughout and he texted to check to make sure things were going well, which was helpful. The project manager for the crew was on top of things and made sure everything was being done to our expectations. A team came first to rip out the old floor and then the installation crew came to level the floor and install carpet and hardwood. They paid attention to all the details and gave me options (with pricing) when they found unexpected issues in our new house. Everything was done on time and as expected. The quality of the installation was excellent - corners were sharp, no gaps or issues with the hardwood, carpet was installed really well, etc. The only concern I had was that the flooring people didn't take the molding they had to rip out/replace, which should have been thrown out; Brian had them take care of that after I reached out about the problem, so the issue was resolved (though it would have been nice if the crew had taken all the molding without me needing to intervene). Vibes: Brian, our sales rep / account manager, was wonderful. The crew was fine; they left toilet seats up in bathrooms when they left which isn't the end of the world but is a personal pet peeve and it made me feel like they didn't treat my house with full respect. Otherwise they were very orderly and cleaned up each day after leaving. Cost: Pricing was all competitive with other companies I considered. Overall: I'll likely be hiring them again! They're better than any other flooring company I've hired, and I've hired a few in the last 5 years.

Our tiles came in quickly in about a week. One of the tile sadly was cracked right down the middle which happens. He does charge more than a few other quotes I received, but his rates reflect the quality of his work. He is very responsive and laid down all of the stain options I was looking at in 4 different rooms throughout my house so I could really see how the color looked in different lighting conditions. He was also able to seamlessly fill in all of the cracks in our floors making them look brand new and did the entire house in less than a week! Make sure you do your research on whether or not you want Synteko for your finish - we ended up going with a water-based finish since we have a dog and little babies crawling on our floors and didn't want to risk the toxins, but I would definitely trust Johnny with the finish if you're interested in it. Finally, about a month after moving in, one of our stair treads broke off and Johnny was able to come and replace it in a matter of days - he asked for the measurements ahead of time, so when he showed up at 8am, he already had the tread pre-cut and was done with everything within the hour.
