Best prices and even better service! We've made several purchases from this Flooring Liquidators (even before they moved from Taylor Road). And they have always been the best price and service, even on special orders. In our experiences it has always been David that we've dealt with because he goes out of his way to make sure everything goes smoothly. Our last purchase was to match hardwood from our original builder install that had to be installed after a house flood. David was once again our go to. Special Order? Yup. Great Price? Nope... AWESOME PRICE. This time we elected to use our own contractor for the install but everything went smooth. Our return of unused product got a little complicated though and that was largely due to another staff member getting involved and then later not being able to complete the return before they left the company. Flash forward several months later of not hearing anything back (I travel a lot for work and I wasn't aware the previous employee left) I called the store to check in on the return progress and David answered the phone. Our love for this place began last year when we decided to upgrade our flooring in our kitchen last year. We bought tile flooring from them and their prices are hard to beat! We purchased our tile from here at their RC location. We recently decided to remodel our kitchen and after shopping around at several stores, we chose FL's! After going back and forth between several places, we chose them! Yes, we shopped and compared at several places for granite counters! We were set on Giallo Ornamental as our granite. This was the same granite that was priced much higher at Lowe's and HD. With measurements in hand, we ordered our pre fab granite at a great price. When our oRder came in, they were even meticulous enough to send back our order because it didn't meet the criteria! Flooring liquidators is a joke. I've been calling them now almost every week for about 2 months about my claim and nothing. I get told the emails are being sent and the powers to be are taking about your claim. Well they are not talking. I have cracked flooring and a lot of separation throughout the house. This company doesn't care. They take your money quickly, but then if you need something fixed they ignore you and reach out. Buyer Beware. The team we dealt with at Flooring Liquidators are lazy, rude and above-all; unprofessional. Long Story Short: I've never been yelled at or cussed at by a vendor so this was a novel experience for me but now it's my opportunity to warn all of you. We went into Flooring Liquidators on the recommendation of our contractor. We had just purchased a home and needed flooring throughout. Initially, we went in just to find carpet as we had already picked out LVP through a personal friend who works for a Supplier. To my surprise, FL also carried the product and it would save me a ton of hassle to order through them rather than go pick it up myself. Our salesman, David, was all sweet words and assurances through the purchasing process but that's where it ended. After the order was confirmed, we were given the delivery date at which point we instructed our contractor to rip out the existing floors in our home and prep it for delivery of our new floors. The "delivery date" came and went with the only feedback from FL being "Sorry, it wasn't on the truck". After digging some more, we found out not only was it not on the truck, it wasn't on the continent. The floors we ordered, and assured would be delivered omn time, were sitting on a boat with no delivery date in sight. We were then told we could get an update towards the end of June, long after we are supposed to be out of our rental, as the lease was ending, and into our new home. This was less than ideal, but these things happen. However, I now have a house with no floors and a ticking clock. I asked David for options and he said he would "personally find a color-matched alternative flooring that could be delivered within the week by 8:30 am the next day" as he knew we were short on time. The next day came and went with no word. I called into Flooring Liquidators to ask David for an update and was told he "was out measuring a job". Frustrated, I took matters into my own hands and went into FL myself to find a new floor. Upon entering, imagine my surprise when I see David sitting behind the front desk. "Hey, any luck finding a new floor for me?" He simply pointed from behind the desk at where I could find some options. Not once did he get up from behind the desk and come over to help. After about an hour of looking myself, I took some options home but none of the samples that could be delivered in time were up to the quality we were looking for so I ended up just reaching back out to my friend who works for the LVP flooring supplier for a suggestion. He promptly sent us some samples to choose from. A few days pass, and this is where it gets interesting! My buddy at the Supplier calls me, "Hey, good news. I found a project that has ordered too much flooring and it's the exact ones you wanted. I have rerouted them to our warehouse in Stockton. Call your guy at Flooring Liquidators and give him this reference number and all they have to do is pick them up." My buddy had saved the day! Time was running out for us but we had just enough time to make this work and get the floors in before the movers showed up. I immediately called David and relayed the message and he told me he was on it and they would be delivered within a day. The day came and went once again with no word so I called. "Yeah the truck went to the Stockton warehouse but didn't come back with the flooring. They said it wasn't there..." The problem with this is I knew for a fact it was there because I had my buddy at the Supplier visually confirm it was there the night before. So once again FL dropped the ball. At this point, my contractor has had to reschedule jobs twice to accommodate FL's missed deliveries and now will not reschedule us until he can physically see the flooring himself because he has also lost faith in FL's ability to deliver, and won't lose work again because of these missed timelines. Frustrated, I called into the store to relay this to David and figure out what we can do to make this right. Once again, I was told that he was "out measuring a job", but the gentleman (I didn't get a name) offered to help as he was somewhat familiar with my job. I relayed the situation and said, "I have two days to figure this out or I'm going to be moving my family into a home with no floors. You guys have missed this twice now and my contractor won't reschedule us until product is physically here, what do you plan to do to make this right?" He paused for a second and then said "Well, nothing." Surpised I said "So I'm just S.O.L.?". And he said, "Yes, you're S.O.L." HERE'S THE BEST PART: Just then David calls on the other line. What followed was a series of the most unprofessional F-Bombs and accusations the likes of which I've never heard. Unfortunately, I've run out of room to finish this story but I trust you all get the poin. Go elsewhere. Flooring Liquidators, do better. I went to Flooring Liquidators to match some wood flooring previously installed by a former homeowner. I was assisted by an employee who took my information and attempted to help with some further product research. I never received a call back so I went back into the store looking for this person and was told he was out on vacation. I was dissappointed and turned toward the door to take my business elsewhere. I was approached by an employee named Mirko, Pronounced more like "Misha" who asked if he could assist. This guy could not have been more helpful! He looked up the flooring I had in mind, got the product shipped in a small quantity for preview and measured my floor in a short amount of time. It's difficult to write this review because there were employees who attempted to help us as much as they could before it becoming a matter beyond their control. We went to Flooring Liquidators on a recommendation and we purchased floor tile and then we purchased tile counters. We hired a contractor to install the counters and he picked up the material and brought it to our home to install. It was a cloudy overcast day-I will elaborate more on this. We purchased a counter tile called "White Crystol". After he installed a large island piece, he cut the piece to fit the sink and faucet. With help from my husband, they flipped it around and realized the two pieces did not match. One was white and one was off white with a tint of blue. We stopped the install and immediately called the store. We were initially told that the installer had picked up and signed for the pieces, so he should've caught it. To his defense, it was overcast and I also walked past his truck at least 10 times and didn't notice the difference until it was under the kitchen lighting. We were also told by Flooring Liquidators that because it's was a "man made" product, and depending on the dye-lot, it could be off just a little. This was more than a little off. We began working with Dave at the store, and Dave did everything he could to help us to resolve the issue. The store blamed our installer and our installer said the store should've tried to give us two matching (as close to) pieces as possible. We the CUSTOMER we're in the middle. Back and forth emails through a store employee and a manager who absolutely refused to let us speak to someone above him. Mike Magnani, the manager was so arrogant and in his words, He (Steve Kellogg-the owner) doesn't deal with people like us." He even went as far as saying, "If you called Walmart and asked to speak to Sam Walton, you think they'd let you speak to him?" After two and a half weeks of waiting on a resolution that would make us whole and not cost us anymore money. We were desperate to have a kitchen so we could have Thanksgiving even though it had already long passed. So we drove to Modesto to Flooring Liquidators warehouse and selected another large piece that best matched the large island piece that was already installed and glued down and paid $400+ just so we could finish our kitchen. We were told we were getting "a really good deal" on the piece. Not when you consider we did nothing wrong as customers. Not when as a customer we had an expectation that FL would make every attempt to send us two "as close" as possible pieces to begin with. All we wanted was for someone higher up to hear us out and look at the attached photo and tell us if the company did their due diligence to give us, the customer, a product that they themselves would work with and want permanently in their kitchen. We were denied that opportunity to speak to someone above the manager or the owner of the company. I'm angry that I had to pay for something that was absolutely not our fault. We intend to finish remodeling our bathroom, but we most certainly will not go through FL. And when people compliment our tile flooring that we purchased from FL, I gladly tell them where I purchased it but I follow it with my story of my experience purchasing counters and how this business handled the situation. If you are the manager or owner reading this, I would love to have a conversation and discuss how we can resolve this to our satisfaction. I have used Flooring Liquidators for 4 jobs in our house. 3 of them we're screwed up in some way. Job 1. The counters and back splash in our kitchen came out really well they cut a corner on the back splash so they wouldn't have to cut around the outlet. Job 2. LVP in the hallway and kitchen also came out well kind of. Job 3 carpet in family room and LVP in living room. Not so good. They had to put a transition strip in between the kitchen and living room even though it was the same flooring. I was told it was because it was done at 2 different times. Why they didn't tell us this would be the case is beyond me. Then there was a gap that ran along the bar in the kitchen. Installer said sorry just they way the floor laid out. I fixed it with quarter round they sold me and I didn't need from the first flooring job. Installer told me to go f myself when I told him he needed to come fix it. Last project carpet for our 4 bedrooms. We emptied out all the bedrooms and had furniture everywhere including outside. I took the day off on the installation day. They called at 9:30 and told me they weren't able to come. I wasted a day. It rained that night so we scrambled to move furniture under cover. The next day my wife had to take the day off because that is when they were able to come. They installed the carpet and were like ok we are done. My wife was like what about the baseboards we ordered. They said they didn't have them. They had to go back to the store and figure it out. They come back to the house to install and they didn't have enough for the final room. We have to wait another week for them to come back to finish. I call and complain about the issues we have had and they send out their regional manager. He agrees that he wouldn't be happy with the t mold from the living room to kitchen but says it is what it is. I call again because I was in shock by his response. He comes backs weeks later unannounced and takes video of all the LVP areas of the house. He concludes that in order to fix it they will have to do the kitchen over. He sends me a quote to do this. No way am I giving them another $ of mine. Too many mistakes and too much arrogance and false pride in their management staff. read more

He's 'been there, done that' and gave us a tour of their vinyl plank and told us - WE ONLY CARRY QUALITY, but do your research. We like everybody went to Lowe's, Home Depot and Floor & Decor and were dizzy with options. We bought a box of every color we liked and I put the planks together and put water on the seam and they leaked BUT Flooring Liquidators didn't. David at the Roseville store is easy to work with, their prices are fair, and his installers do excellent work.

Sold me a vinyl flooring that had a foam backing, but when we opened the boxes it had no foam. So the worker gave me foam backing for free. My installers spent much more time rolling out and taping down this foam layer than it would have taken if it was on the back of the planks. I also had to take 2 hours out of my day to go pick it up. They acted like they did me a favor by giving me foam for free, but they were just covering their butts for giving me the wrong product. In actuality their error costed me time and money. They blamed the vendor, but they should have checked the stock before loading it into my truck and letting me take it home. They also told me at the time of sale when we were calculating how much to order that there was a 25% restocking fee, so I got 10% over our square footage like they suggested, since we were re flooring the entire house. They knew I wouldn't be picking it up for a month or more to install. When I ended up with 13 leftover boxes (290 sq ft, $900 worth of flooring!!!) and tried to return it a few months later they said because it is a product they don't keep in stock that it is non returnable!!! And it was past the 30 day mark, which wasn't made clear to me when they were encouraging me to 'make sure I got enough.' Then they argued with me, defending themselves, and being condescending towards the project, saying we must have ordered too much and someone must have measured wrong. I pointed out that I'm not satisfied with their customer service because of the original foam backing mistake and now this and they again tried to tell me they did me a favor and that they could have made me bring the product back, returned it to the vendor in San Francisco and stalled out our project, but that would have been even WORSE customer service. Also, the first person I spoke to offered to transfer me to the manager, and transferred me to the other salesman I had purchased the product from, acting like he was the manager, which was totally dishonest. Only buy from them if you want car salesman-like sketchy customer service and pray you don't have any issues with your order. Don't count on returning anything unless it's a stock product and you have the time to get it back to them within 30 days of purchase. read more

We recently requested a bid for a total recarpeting of our 3400 sq. ft. home. I had filled out an online request for a free in-home estimate. When the appointment time came and went with no estimator, I called the store and was told that "oh yeah, our website appointment scheduling doesn't always work well." The store manager offered to come and provide an estimate a few days later. When he visited, he had promised an estimate the next day. The next day came and went. When I called the business, the manager promised to get back to me later that day. When he did, the price for the carpet I had chosen was higher than what I had been quoted (twice) in the store (and, ultimately, substantially higher than what I received from two other large area businesses). The estimate also said "too much furniture for us to move; we request that you contract with professional movers separately." Really? I wrote to ask about the price discrepancy (I.e., in-store price vs. the written estimate) and also about the furniture issue (as we were willing to move all small-medium furniture ourselves. I never received a response. I suppose if you are just looking to purchase product, and the price is competitive, they are an ok choice - but I found their customer service and eagerness to please to be sorely lacking. read more
