Their knowledge and professionalism were apparent from my first meeting with them and their quote was right in the middle of the other two. They demo'd my existing floors (carpet and ceramic tile), replaced the existing subflooring with new plywood subflooring, and installed, stained and finished the hardwoods in my living room, dining room, den, foyer and front hall as well as in the upstairs hallway, all while we were living in the house. It was a challenging job, with substantial differences in floor elevations between rooms, but they expertly leveled them and made the transitions between new floors and old floors smooth so that there was no need for raised transitions at doorways that would create tripping hazards. Josh very patiently answered all my questions about hardwood species, finish options, acclimating the wood before installation, the demo and installation process, and more and clearly explained how they would address all of the issues. He and his team were great at scheduling and communicating, showed up when they said they would, and finished ahead of schedule with no suprises when it came to paying for the work. Josh stayed involved throughout the project to ensure that all my concerns were addressed. He and his team were true professionals and made customer satisfaction their top priority. Josh and his co-workers were very patient and answered all my questions and took care of my needs. I live in midtown, and they were nicer than any other employees I have ever encountered in the midtown area. Josh personally took time to help me measure and select my purchase. They even have an inside basketball goal that you can shoot hoops while you wait on them to finish your order! They are a great group of guys! She sent me the invoice which was $952 for 2 small rooms (about 12x15 and less) I thought that was a bit expensive being that the carpet was cheap and the rooms were small. So today 6/29 I went and got my own estimate at the same place and I was told $550 total for the carpet and installation. I then went and told my landlord and showed her the proof, we then called John and he was just not pleasant at all! He said well since it had to be done Friday it was an additional $200! Are you serious!!! Add the math up it still does not add up! $550 + $200 is $750 but you charged $952 (so taxes are $202???) I will never come back here nor refer anyone. Do your research guys! Trust your gut! And by the way....clean the store up....its "shi#" everywhere!!!!

I was looking for a carpet runner for my house and after looking around Carpet Depot, I realized I probably needed to do a little more research before making a purchase. They don't genuinely sell carpet runners per se; They sell carpet remnants of various styles, patterns and colors and they will cut and bind them for you at the size you want, so depending on what you're looking for, they can definitely fit the bill and do the job. I would venture to say, that if flooring, from tile to carpet is what you need, Billy appears to have it and his customer service and willingness to help, is BEYOND stellar!!!
