After the floors were refinished, my movers severely damaged them by dragging a jukebox with a broken leg across a 5 foot area. I literally cried, and called Bruno back with little hope. His team was able to perform an undetectable spot repair on the damaged section of the floor. It is literally perfect, because the damage is in front of a wall of windows, which hides nothing. The photos speak for themselves. I chose the Bona commercial water based finish, which is a specialty finish for durability, since I have a dog. I went with the matte finish for better durability to hide my dog's wear and tear. This is the second home I used Bertolli's services, and I highly recommend them!

In addition, (and most impressive), they installed hardwood stairs and landings and were able to match the stain to the vinyl floors perfectly! It all came out better than I ever expected. The job was done as promised and on time and the whole team was friendly and efficient at ensuring we were happy. George was amazing at helping with product selection. They wanted payment, but I refused to pay until the job was complete as stated in their contract. That evening the owner of the company called me with his family in the car actually screaming at me, cussing me out for not paying. I didn't back down, and refused to pay until the job was complete. The next day he sent out someone to finish the stairs, I paid, and swore to never use this company again. I advise you to avoid as well.

We hired them to install vinyl in our basement. On the day of install didn't show because of a…read morebroken down truck. When they did show up, the said that we needed "additional material" that wasn't quoted. We later learned that this material is ALWAYS needed. The work was all done incorrectly, and now our floors look like there are bubbles and chunky material underneath them. The room has tongue and groove dark wood walls and the vinyl flooring was a "wood look." We paid them to replace the shoe molding, and they actually put in WHITE shoe molding with wood walls, baseboards and flooring. They then tried to act like that was acceptable, but were willing to change them. When they did come to change them, they removed the white but didn't bother to clean off all the white caulk. We had to get another contractor to do that. To fix the floors, we will have to completely move all of the furniture out and have them completely redone. For the upstairs of our home, we wanted to get a little shine to our hardwood floors that were in really good shape. After speaking with the salesman, we decided that the best option for us was to do a buff and a coat of polyurethane. We had just had some other construction work done, so the floors needed to be cleaned. I asked if I needed to have the floors cleaned, and he said no since they were gong to buff the floors. When I came to inspect the work after completion, there were large black shoe scuffs, dirt, and even a piece of red ribbon sealed underneath the polyurethane coating. It virtually looked like they had just put a coat of polyurethane on top of the floors without doing any cleaning or prep at al! It looks horrible! At first they tried to say that all of that was underneath the previous coating of polyurethane, but quickly had to back track when I reminded him that the previous work had been done a few years earlier by THEIR company. He then said that this is what you get when you do a buff and coat, and that that is why they really don't like to even do that process. Do you think he said that to me when he was selling the service?. He even explained the red ribbon and said that the buffer swirls things in the air and when they land it gets sealed over? Really? Do you think that he explained that to me BEFORE I had the work done? Plus, I know that the dirt and shoe scuffs would have come up. Now we are in the position to have to have all the floors completely sanded down and refinished, which will not only be expensive, but we will have to completely move all of our furniture out and we will have to move out, as well. All of this after having just moved in a few months ago! In addition to that, floors can only be sanded down so many times, so this will actually take some of the life from the floors needlessly, since they were in good shape to start with. All the floors in our home are ruined at this point. We tried everything to work it out with them...even offering for them to just refund our 50% deposit. . When my husband met with the owner, his only goal was to gouge us for more money, and even went as far as to say that he "had to make money." We have been left with no other alternative than to hire an attorney. This has been, by far, the worst experience we have ever had dealing with any contractor

The estimate was comprehensive, accurate, and more competitive than the other 2 vendors I contacted (including Home Depot). John took the time to answer all of my questions during the walkthrough and his knowledge on the subject really came through. Our conversations on product recommendations were very nuanced and I learned a ton. My HOA is really picky about soundproofing, and he was able to provide all needed evidence to prove PPF's recommended soundproofing was superior than their requirements in order gain approval for the installation. After the install, I had a punch list with some minor items and all were remediated without hesitation. Highly recommended!

Amber was great and stuck with me to answer any questions I had and track down samples to compare against. Once we had worked through all the details and found a good match, they had it installed in a matter of days. Their crew was quick, courteous, and cleaned up after themselves. They vacuumed not just the new carpet, but all the areas they had walked in the house! In the end, it was like they hadn't even been there.
