They also sanded and stained our staircase handrails. The finish looks amazing! I don't want anyone to walk on it because how pretty it looks! This whole crew pays so much attention to details. I had a staircase company came to install new balusters. Since we were worried that staircase crew may scratch the floor, we had them do the install before Fabricio put down finally poly. And sure they left scratches on stairs... Fabricio and crew fixed the scratches, and pointed out a few spots that I didn't even notice and fixed them as well. Oh, and staircase crew can't believe they were able to sand and stain our handrails, because of all the details involved. Overall great quality of work, very easy to work with, and reasonable price. I would definitely recommend them to friends!

We hired them to install vinyl in our basement. On the day of install didn't show because of a…read morebroken down truck. When they did show up, the said that we needed "additional material" that wasn't quoted. We later learned that this material is ALWAYS needed. The work was all done incorrectly, and now our floors look like there are bubbles and chunky material underneath them. The room has tongue and groove dark wood walls and the vinyl flooring was a "wood look." We paid them to replace the shoe molding, and they actually put in WHITE shoe molding with wood walls, baseboards and flooring. They then tried to act like that was acceptable, but were willing to change them. When they did come to change them, they removed the white but didn't bother to clean off all the white caulk. We had to get another contractor to do that. To fix the floors, we will have to completely move all of the furniture out and have them completely redone. For the upstairs of our home, we wanted to get a little shine to our hardwood floors that were in really good shape. After speaking with the salesman, we decided that the best option for us was to do a buff and a coat of polyurethane. We had just had some other construction work done, so the floors needed to be cleaned. I asked if I needed to have the floors cleaned, and he said no since they were gong to buff the floors. When I came to inspect the work after completion, there were large black shoe scuffs, dirt, and even a piece of red ribbon sealed underneath the polyurethane coating. It virtually looked like they had just put a coat of polyurethane on top of the floors without doing any cleaning or prep at al! It looks horrible! At first they tried to say that all of that was underneath the previous coating of polyurethane, but quickly had to back track when I reminded him that the previous work had been done a few years earlier by THEIR company. He then said that this is what you get when you do a buff and coat, and that that is why they really don't like to even do that process. Do you think he said that to me when he was selling the service?. He even explained the red ribbon and said that the buffer swirls things in the air and when they land it gets sealed over? Really? Do you think that he explained that to me BEFORE I had the work done? Plus, I know that the dirt and shoe scuffs would have come up. Now we are in the position to have to have all the floors completely sanded down and refinished, which will not only be expensive, but we will have to completely move all of our furniture out and we will have to move out, as well. All of this after having just moved in a few months ago! In addition to that, floors can only be sanded down so many times, so this will actually take some of the life from the floors needlessly, since they were in good shape to start with. All the floors in our home are ruined at this point. We tried everything to work it out with them...even offering for them to just refund our 50% deposit. . When my husband met with the owner, his only goal was to gouge us for more money, and even went as far as to say that he "had to make money." I found this company through Instagram and contacted them after seeing what looked like good work. Hector came to my home and said that while he handles the contracts, his very experienced father would be doing the actual flooring. That gave me confidence to hire them. However, on the day of the job, only three workers showed up -- and his father never came. When I asked where he was, Hector said he would be coming "soon," but he never showed up at all. The worst part was discovering, after the crew had left, that a special green pot -- which my sister and I had painted together 15 years ago -- had been broken and hidden in a corner of my garage. They turned the broken side around so I wouldn't notice right away. When I checked further, I also found a dent on the wall inside my house. They never told me about either. I texted Hector immediately. Instead of apologizing, he bluntly asked how much it would cost -- no empathy, no responsibility. Only after I pointed it out did he say "sorry" and asked for the amount again. I told him $100 for the sentimental pot and the wall repair. I sent him my Zelle info, but till now, no money and no communication. This company has no professionalism, no transparency, and absolutely no respect for your home or your emotions. As luck would have it we chanced upon Davit when he was installing hardwood for one of our neighbors and were really impressed by the work he had done there. He was awesome from the first hello! He came over and gave us an estimate and his quotation were very competitive to the one we had gotten previously. He also helped us to find shops with good selection of hardwood. We already had a different place in mind but decided to go to his recommended place and found the material and rates way better that what we were looking at. Davit further helped us to get hold of other materials like baseboard, glue all at great rate. He even help us save cost by re-using some of the existing baseboards. Davit and us fixed the install schedule based on our move-in date and when the hardwood was arriving (we were on tight schedule as we were handing over the apartment). As luck would have it the hardwood shipment from the seller got delayed by a week as the previous shipment had some damage. However, we had already locked in our moving dates :(. Davit came to our rescue and offered to work round the clock in order to minimize the impact on us and also moved his dates around just to accommodate us. The shipment finally arrived and Davit picked up the wood within the hour and was already coordinating with the supplier without my knowledge. He had already started the demo and sanding work so he could hit the ground running as soon as the shipment arrived. He worked on Saturday and Sunday alone just so that we can move in with our two toddlers with minimum impact to us. Davit is clearly passionate in the work he does and his attention to detail was phenomenal. It was fascinating to see him work and never once did we feel his work was rushed up or he was cutting any corners. He would also educate us on why he is doing a certain thing and pro and cons of the approach which clearly reflected his knowledge on the subject. He also surprised us by making made us a wood frame as a house warming gift(free) We were really really happy with the work Davit did and he did the entire project almost on his own. His attention to detail and customer service was A++. I think I have found my hardwood guy for life and I cant imagine approaching anyone else if ever I need to do this again. We have several spots making squeaky noise when stepping on it. Not only does it sound annoying, but also wakes up the baby (which takes significant effort to make him sleep again...). We called Davit and left messages several times, but he never responded. Not sure if he is avoiding responding intentionally, or it's just some miscommunication here. Hope to hear from them soon!
