In addition, (and most impressive), they installed hardwood stairs and landings and were able to match the stain to the vinyl floors perfectly! It all came out better than I ever expected. The job was done as promised and on time and the whole team was friendly and efficient at ensuring we were happy. George was amazing at helping with product selection. Before work began, I explicitly instructed the contractor not to use nails, screws, or make any cuts due to waterproofing and structural concerns. These instructions were clear and non-negotiable. Despite those warnings, the contractor ignored my instructions and used fasteners and cuts anyway, directly compromising the waterproofing system. As a result, my home suffered extensive water intrusion and damage that now totals tens of thousands of dollars. When I discovered the damage and attempted to address it professionally, the contractor refused to engage, hung up on me, and has since avoided all responsibility for the destruction caused by his work. There was no attempt to inspect, repair, remediate, or even discuss a resolution. This was not a misunderstanding -- it was a complete disregard for client instructions, property protection, and professional accountability. The work performed has resulted in major financial loss, legal action, and months of disruption. If you value your property, your investment, or basic professionalism, do not hire this company. I am now pursuing this matter through the courts because the contractor has failed to take responsibility for the damage caused by his actions.

It is in my opinion that he really wasn't going to try to put down the flooring he just wanted me to sign a waiver because my credit card company wanted him to clear up the flooring problem that he created. This was a trick for me to believe that he was going to redo my flooring then he was going to turn that paper over to the credit card company and not come out and do the flooring and leave the warped flooring in my home because that's all he can do with it. His team was able to perform an undetectable spot repair on the damaged section of the floor. It is literally perfect, because the damage is in front of a wall of windows, which hides nothing. The photos speak for themselves. I chose the Bona commercial water based finish, which is a specialty finish for durability, since I have a dog. I went with the matte finish for better durability to hide my dog's wear and tear. This is the second home I used Bertolli's services, and I highly recommend them!

He's a true professional. If we ever switch to LVP in the future or need additional repairs, I wouldn't hesitate to reach out again. Thank you, Herik, for helping me on such short notice. As you can see, he achieved a perfect floor match--even though the previous stain was a blend of three different Minwax colors. The floor he worked on was engineered wood and it had already been refinished at least twice and was damaged due to water underneath that caused it to warp.
